I have a new home, which we included an elevator. The house was delivered in July and the elevator is not yet completed.

The company is slow to react and the employees have bad, to say the least, attitude. Fortunately the city of Miami Beach inspector is forcing them to fix everything otherwise at this point I would be seeking legal assistance.

Wonderful company to work with!!

They set up an appointment for 2 to 4. At 405 they hadn't called or showed up. I called them to find out what was going on. At 420 I heard that he was running late and wouldn't be there for another 20 minutes. I told him not to come. I want an elevator company that I can rely on. He could have called earlier in the day or re scheduled he did neither.

I purchased a home with a ballard elevator in it in Dec 2021. It is not June 2022 and the elevator is not working. They sent two guys out early in the year. The first guy clearly didn't know what he was doing and tried to hand wave away like we didn't know how to operate an elevator. The i showed him that the elevator could not even be summoned. Then he just said "it needs a new part" and went on his way. Silence for months then i call again and they send another guy and he says, "I fixed it". But then first time I go to use it it does not work. The he says "Needs a part" This is back to April and now we hear nothing even though not only did it never work since it was new, it is under maintenance contract and they are not maintaining it. So now over to better business bureau.

They have gone over and beyond to help us with our elevator and service us in the best way possible I highly recommend them. Paula and Roy are great.

Highly recommend them. Great service,honest people and will not hesitate to use them in the event we have future needs.

THE WORST!!!! Paula (wife of the owner) took over the “customer service” for Ballard. Before she started I never had any issues, I would deal directly with the owner. Paula is the most unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with. My elevator has been out of service for months after a tech came out three times for repair. She’s sending invoices even though nothing has been repaired and can’t get a resolution. When I call she is fumbling around, seemingly too overwhelmed to handle answering simple questions. When asked about the invoice and plan of action she becomes combative, aggressive and angry.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE, YOU WILL BE SORRY!
