Constraction reviews in Apopka, Florida

Brady Cecere handled my hurricane repair and restoration with genuine concern and professionalism. I highly recommend Florida State Construction.

Florida state construction and owner Steve were a godsend to our commercial condominium project after a major fire to the entire building. We changed builders 3 times during the 16 month project and Steve and FSC saved the day. Working with multiple owners, all who had no idea how to navigate after such a tragedy, we were in dire straits. Steve was easy to work with, worked within our budget and couldn’t be more patient or helpful. It was truly a pleasure to work with someone who took the helm and made this project work and get completed. He is communicative, responsive and got this job completed. If we hadn’t found Steve we would have been in the shitter for sure. He was able to work with a group of people that weren’t the easiest to work with. If you have a project of any type I highly recommend Steve. Thank you for all your help in making us get back to business.

Steve was amazing throughout the whole process of my bathroom remodel! Since the property is our vacation home, I was unable to be there to see or communicate in person. Steve was very attentive and communication ran smooth as silk. He sent pics , emailed , called and texted depending on his questions for us. I was able to get a hold of him when I needed without fail and he answered every email promptly. Most of all, the bathroom is gorgeous- thanks Steve

I highly recommend Florida State construction. They helped us with a major water loss, after hours. We didn't think we would be able to get anybody to come and they answered right away. Had a crew there within an hour and got our place completely dried out.
Saving us from issues like mold, etc..
They were a lifesaver for sure. Thank you, Florida State Construction!

I hired FSC to install my wood floors in chevron pattern and it came out amazing. I had hired a company prior to FSC for the installation and they didn’t know what they were doing. FSC came in removed the mess the other company made and started the installation process with precise measurements.

FSC removed and rebuilt a collapsed porch. The workmanship is superior. Their technicians were excellent examples of their trade. From the demolition to final construction, they were diligent, clean, accomplished.

We truly value our partnership with Florida State Construction. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality make every project run smoothly. It’s always a pleasure collaborating with a team that shares our high standards and dedication to excellence. — ISO Cabinets

Florida state construction did a fantastic job all the way across the board for my family’s home! From the customer service to the remodeling. They kept me in the loop about every detail. They do a fantastic job and really know how to take care of their clients!

Florida State Construction did my kitchen remodel. I am very happy with how it came out. Cabinet work was beautiful, so happy I went with Steve and his team.

I chose FSC because the general contractor had remodeled my previous home, and I knew they could handle a much larger project. This house was 4,400 square feet and required a complete transformation—essentially a full gut aside from the walls. The previous owner’s style leaned heavily Tuscan/Mediterranean. While it was well done, it wasn’t my aesthetic. I wanted a Rustic Chic look that elevated the Modern Farmhouse style I loved in my last home.

FSC handled every part of the renovation: new flooring throughout, fresh paint on every wall and ceiling, new doors and hardware, all new appliances, and beautifully executed built‑ins including a coffee bar, a full bar, and a custom TV wall. They remodeled every bathroom and the entire kitchen, and installed all new windows, sliders, and remote shades on 15 openings. It was a massive project, and they delivered.

One of the things I appreciate most about FSC is that they let you be as involved as you want to be. I did my own design work, so I was very hands‑on, but you absolutely don’t have to be. They are responsive, easy to reach, and quick to address any issues—because in a remodel of this scale, there will always be issues. What matters is how they handle them, and FSC handled them well.

My advice: do your homework on design or lean on their experts. Everyone I worked with was helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to guide me whenever I needed it.

FSC truly takes the headache out of remodeling by sourcing products, coordinating labor, and bringing in skilled, vetted tradespeople. Finding reliable professionals on your own can be incredibly difficult—let FSC take care of that. They made a huge, complex renovation feel manageable, and the results speak for themselves.

Here are some before and after photos. Good luck with your refresh or remodel!

We had a water leak that left mold and water damage. Florida State Construction was able to help us with both, which gave continuity to our project, which became much bigger than we expected when we discovered the joists in our 1926 bungalow were not attached to anything! Steve came himself to assess the damage, and walked us through next steps. Communication was excellent, and the work was done to perfection. Every worker that stepped foot on our property was professional, polite, and communicated well. FSC was willing to work with us to make sure the project was within our budget. We would definitely use FSC for future projects!

Amazing contractor to subcontract for

El trabajo que hicieron en mi cocina es excelente, me encantó, el trabajo es impecable y los trabajadores de la compañía además de ser muy profesiones fueron amigables. Recomiendo a la compañía, cumplimiento y calidad en alto nivel.

Excellent workmanship, truly knowledgeable!

Unprofessional and rude staff. They do not care about delivering a quality product.

Great place and Great people

The owner who’s name is Mauro, is an poor excuse for a business man.
..He does not care about his clients, only pocketing their money. He doesn’t listen to your request and talks bad about his worker... I would Not recommend this place at All!!!
Nothing But a headache 🤕
