These guys did a great job in a very timely manner. Everything that was discussed was completed and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I will use them again and highly recommend them. Ron and Sue are very honest , and extremely nice. Thank for a job well done!!!!

Beware this company prays on the retirees. They fail to show up on the day promised and then do not complete the agreed upon work. The owner called me several times cussing me out and threatening me. He said he makes $12,000.00 a day and will get it from me one way or another....To make things worse the owners wife actually showed up banging on the windows yelling that i needed to pay them for a job that was never completed.
This was a truly horrible experience I hope no one else has to go through. Stay away from this company at all costs!

Great service, they were punctual, cleaned their area right after, and great pricing compared to other competitors. I live on a inactive golf course in apopka and have alot of big Spanish moss trees over our home and they came in and accessed the area and removed all the big branches endagering the home.

Incomplete service and 1 excuse after another as to why the job couldnt be finished. We dont have our bee suits ( even after killing the entire bee hive).....we didnt bring our trimming tools. ( How do you come to a job without your tools ?) We ll come back another day to finish. That was 2 months ago. So.....for my $ 1000...I got 1 large oak tree cleaned and 1 large limb removed. All that took a crew of ten or more. The entire time they were here all I heard was .....we can do this and so much more FOR SOOOO MUCH MORE !

Joe and his crew came and did an excellent job in our yard, they cleared low hanging trees from across our pool screen without any damage to it. Everyone worked as a team together in a tight space to get the job done. Clean up was tidy with minimal damage.

They have left several business cards on my front door in Clermont. Always a handwritten name and phone number on it. Today I drove by their crew on Lake Ave. in Clermont and they had 6 plus vehicles blocking 1 lane of the road on a curve with no one directing traffic.
I spoke to an elderly friend of mine after I saw her complaint on a neighborhood blog. They charged her $12000 to cut down 2 large trees and grind the stump. At least 2 times more than she should have been charged.
They left a broken statue, a fence in disrepair, and the stumps have not been touched.
Stay away from this company.

Knocked on our door with an high quote that kept getting lower and lower. They arrived a week late and asked to do more and more stuff, for of course,an additional cost. The work was done in ten minutes and trash was left in the backyard by one of the workers. I then hear another tree being cut down and when I look out the window our neighbor is having the tree that we just paid $300 to have the branches cut off cut down…this is not a trust worthy company. They are double dipping on jobs and basically are trying to nick and dime their customers.

This business did my tree removal and trimming in 2021. They dropped a limb on my ac compressor and broke the housing. Chriss assured me he would take care of it. I looked the part up and it was $700.00. Chriss Bissell, the owner of the company was there and said he would have the part ordered and sent to me. I called him and texted him multiple times and he said he would get it done. Never happened. Do NOT use this company. If they break it, they don't care. They will give you the run around for as of now, over six months. Anybody can have a website, don't be fooled.

Jeff the owner was very nice & so was his crew. The crew worked all day. They cut down 2 very large trees & thinned out 2 other trees. It was a very big job that they did effortless. They were polite & no foul language was used. I recommend Jeff & his crew highly. Bruni Massa

Horrible company. After finishing the job of cutting down a large dead oak in my yard, ATR cut down one in a neighbors yard. They dropped the last load of limbs from my neighbors tree in my yard and drove away. I tried for two weeks to get them to remove the limbs. They have ignored my calls and texts. I also asked for the proof of certification and insurance the HOA wants. They have ignored those requests also. On top of that they trashed my backyard while cutting down the oak. Horrible company. Zero customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid Above the Rest Tree Service!

The service was top-notch from the beginning to the end. Not only was the job done perfectly and to the agreement, but the cleanup was great. Also there was complete teamwork with all the crew (12). All were nice to my husband and me and to each other. Should any thing come up we will use them again.

BE WARNED.

The salesman will tell you you don't pay until the job is done and you are happy. DO NOT believe them. They crunched a little of our PVC fence while removing a couple of oaks. They demanded and received payment as soon as they removed the trees. They promised to return the following week to fix the fence, but never called or showed up. I contacted them and asked when they were going to fix the fence they broke and they apologized again and promised the following week. You get where this is going? Despite promising AGAIN and AGAIN in writing to come fix it, they missed every appointment and I STILL have a broken fence.

The crew seemed nice - people make mistakes and break things. But the management seems to be unconcerned about honoring their word.

Lesson learned: Do NOT let them pressure you into paying UNTIL they are completely done with everything!!

Chris and crew did an amazing job today! It was a great way to celebrate Earth Day! The crew was professional and they worked together very well. I was amazed at their technique of getting large branches down without touching our roof. Very experienced crew!!

Robert stopped by my house and gave me a quote on trimming a tree along my roof line. He quoted a fair price and an hour later the job was completed. It was a fantastic experience, the crew were very professional and the quality was top notch.

A real tree service, not just a bunch of guys cutting trees. They showed up on time, communication was superb. We have lived here for 35+ years and have had a lot of work done by other companies, my oak trees have never looked better!!! Fast professional, no debris left, everything either ran through the chipper or trucked away what’s not to like…. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Tony and the entire crew

Robert came by and gave me a very fair estimate tfor pruning my very large oak tree. The workers were very efficient, neat and quick. The cleaned up after the job was done. They did a wonderful job on my my tree and I will be referring them to my neighbors.

I don't usually write a review but for this company I had to. They had left a card on our door, we called them because we needed some trees to be removed and thought we would give them a try. BIG! HUGE! mistake. Not only did they leave trash everywhere they also left huge cut limbs hanging in trees that were next to the trees they were cutting. The way we found out there were left hanging in the trees is 2 big cut limbs fell close to us. We looked up and there are about 3 more cut limbs just hanging. We called the office to have them come out to remove them and was told the owner would call us back. That never happened. So we tried one more time and finally spoke to the owner, not only did he hang up on us he blamed the cut limbs on damage from a storm. We have not had any storms and the limbs where not broke but cut. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Estimate was given for 3-4 hrs work and they were done in under 2, maybe 1.5 hrs. Clean up was poor, likely because it was end of day but me tripping over 6-8in pieces of tree limb attests to a rush job. Knocked over numerous things and barely attended to my primary areas of concern. When salesperson asked me if I was satisfied i said No and he had very little almost nothing to say. Only trimmed easy to access pieces, I also saw today they dropped pieces on my roof. Because I could see (from the ground) plenty of debris left by them and had to get on roof to clean myself....

They said they could not come back next day as requested (I wanted to be able to see a little of what they were doing) yet A Sales person from above the rest stopped by next day to see if i wanted estimate for tree work- Just another sign work was BELOW even their standard

Robert came by for a giant live oak tree removal. It was a big job, but he and his crew were outstanding. They were efficient, and worked like a true team. Very professional and would definitely recommend to any wanting any tree work. They also removed 6 palm trees!! Great job! Nice to see professional work!

Allie came by on a Saturday because they were doing work down the street (verified) due to the tornado. Quote was more than fair and the work was completed by Monday evening. Ill definitely use them in the future....great crew, staff, owners!

Jeff and his team did a great job they went over and Beyond what was expected? Which is really rare these days . Very pleased would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them
