Had Scotty’s come out to check my AC and my to see why I wasn’t blowing cool air come to find out they replaced my Honeywell digital and 100 focus pro heat pump thermostat and I was charged quite a bit of money when you can buy it on Amazon for $60 and they charged me 315. Do you think that’s a little price gouging Plus let’s not forget labor cost was 160 yeah Scotty it’s getting out of control

Scottie’s has been my go-to HVAC company for years now. My air conditioning typically breaks down on Fridays after 6 PM, but they arrive quickly to assess and fix the problem. They’re incredibly honest, friendly, hardworking, and competent.

Scotties Cooling is Outstanding. The staff is so attentive and polite, as well as the technicians are awesome. I would recommend them to anyone.

After having a new roof installed my AC was no longer working. A neighbor recommended Scotties and I called on Monday, they offer to come out that day, I was working and asked if they could maybe set something up for Tuesday. Sure enough they did and sent me a text saying they could be there between 8-9am and if that worked, just text them and confirm. I was thrilled and sure enough 8am the tec was at my door! He was very polite, honest and very informative! He let me know everything he was doing and why. He fixed the problem and checked the unit to make sure everything was as it should be! Thankfully the issue was fix in just that visit! I'm so thrilled to find a company that is so honest! They now have a new customer! If I ever have an issue again they will be my first and only call! If you're looking for a company that's reliable and Honest, look no farther! I can't thank Scotties enough! Definitely 5 star company!!

Amazing family owned and faith based company. Our air conditioning unit began leaking and broke in the middle of a dead hot Summer. Within 24 hours a technician was at our house and fixed the unit within an hour. We are very appreciative and would refer Scotties to anyone in Manatee Cty. We got coordinated texts and calls letting us know exactly when the technician would be at the house and he was there waiting before his scheduled time. Thanks guys for your expert service!

A friend of ours who has used them for years at multiple properties recommended us. We called mid morning regarding the issues we were having with our AC and they were out here by early afternoon. They went above and beyond to help us, and I can’t relay strongly enough how grateful we are to them.

Scotties Cooling and Heating is "Top Notch". I found out about this company from my neighbor and have been using for over a year now. I am extremely pleased with the service, knowledge, reliability, quick responses and price of this company. I wished I had known about their business years ago; they would have saved me more money and aggravation of using a different company. The technician "John" is so knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to see him pull up to our house when needed.

Great Customer Service all around and resolved our AC down issue the same day. Our technician Kyle was able to diagnose and repair the unit quickly and efficiently. He also installed a blow out line on our air handler drain for easy servicing. Will be using again for our business and home.

Neighbor who had used this company for many many years recommended Scottie’s to us. Family owned, they’ve been in business over 30 years. In August 2025, they replaced our old cooling/heating system, but also gave us options on repairing the old one, which would have saved us a bundle. Due to age, and the fact of regular issues multiple times a year since moving in in 2016, we opted for new. The new unit kept cutting off and they had to keep coming back to troubleshoot. Finally figured out there was a broken wire under our slab of our 1993 house. They were able to run it through the attic, and no more issues. They also made adjustments to our vent system that has made cooling our house so much more efficient! Fast forward to Oct 2025, we came home from a trip to find the house temp at 80 though set to 74. Placed an after hours call to them (about 7pm) so we’d get a call back in the morning, and shortly after that, our call was returned by one of their very knowledgable and personable techs who was finishing up a repair elsewhere, who insisted he’d be at our house by 9pm. Which he was! Faulty sensor identified, got us up and running cool in no time. Under warranty, of course. This company is the best. Research reviews and you will see. Rated A+ by BBB, and rated in the 95th percentile for quality by another business evaluation site. If you do your own research, you will see. Fair pricing, excellent and prompt customer service, prefers to use American made HVAC systems, good people.

did during the recent maintenance inspection for my condo on Alderman St.
As an absentee owner of a rented unit, and never having seen any maintenance
I thought it important to familiarize myself with the system. I scheduled the
work for a time I would be in Florida. Your employee could not have been more
thorough and pleasant. I shadowed him and he explained everything that he was
doing. His appearance and manners were exemplary. The renter and I were
very pleased by this interaction. GOOD JOB!!

My husband and I chose Nice Air after having an amazing and personalized consult/home visit with them. They assisted us with an concern we were having with our unit, an issue our regular HVAC contractor couldn't (or was choosing not to) solve. We found each of the team members with Nice Air to be personable, incredibly professional, and efficient in providing high quality service at a reasonable price. After services were performed the team members cleaned up the areas in which they worked leaving our home cleaner than before they arrived. I even caught them dusting off the furniture... Incredible! After such fantastic experiences with Nice Air we have decided to make them our primary HVAC contractor and will be recommending them to our neighbors, friends, and family members. We bought our new system with Nice Air over 3 years ago. Yesterday (Saturday, on a holiday weekend) it stopped working and our inside temp quickly rose to 85 degrees. We called Rick right away, and he remembered we had two young children, and he immediately sent Carlos out to us. Carlos is always so sweet, and efficient. We had our AC back on within an hour of it going out! We highly recommend Nice Air, they bend over backward for their customers.

Rick, Carlos, and Frank were great to work with when replacing our broken mini split. All went the extra mile to get the work done even though there were some challenges involved. Drew S

Roberto and another representative responded this morning to fix our main unit. It took about two seconds for Roberto to identify tgr oriblem. He metered all of the electrical components confirming his initial belief.

Had another issue with the AC and Carlos and Alex responded within two hours, effecting a temporary fix until a new part is obtained. Great service!

Yesterday evening the heat stopped working on our HVAC. Carlos and his helper responded after noon the following day and effected the repair plus noted another issue that they took care of. Great people! I highly recommend doing business with them.
