My Mother who is 87 years old has not had a good experience with this company. Jason was nice and gave us a senior citizens discount on the job but it has been a nightmare every since. First of all when the installation was done the technician did some damage to the ceilings by blowing the air to hard and the vents came partially out. The explanation was that it was an older home and they did come back to repair the damage a week later. Well 2 days after it was installed the heat went out (and this was in November during the cold spell). They came the next day to repair the problem and got heat back in the house. Well 30 days later the heat is out again (New Years Day) and again we have to call them for service. Luke, the technician, was very helpful and came out after hours and also the next day to find out that they needed to order another part for the unit. Well that has been three days now and we are still waiting on that part not to mention that I can't even get a return call to say when it is going to be repaired. Even though I did not personally write the check, the unit has been paid for so I feel that the lack of caring and after care response time is not there. I placed a call this morning at 9:00am and it is 10:15 and I still have not heard anything back. I also feel that the unit that was sold was a lemon and yes they are standing behind their work and servicing the unit but this many break downs in the first 45 days should not have happened and I hope that this is not the norm for the company.

Our five year old builder install upstairs Carrier 2 ton ac unit had been giving us trouble since we bought the house.It was a constant money pit for us and to make it worse , the builder warranty from Dreamfinders ran out after a year. Even with “maintenance” it was costing us every summer for one thing or another... . compressor after year two cooling always not working right... and other issues... we even had several other companies come over the last five years and they were really expensive just for service.. and of course ... it went out again.
We heard about Arctic Air from co-workers and called them. Arctic air came out twice to fit it and replaced another part .. They were honest and said they were going to try this first, as it was less expensive, but if it doesn’t work, the next item would cost more... and that would be an 800 dollar parts and labor repair....and while it cooled at first after the lesser cost part replacement... it was still not cooling enough for me. ... the temp kept creeping up and It was going to be another 800 dollar cost to replace the additional part ... we could have tried this other repair.. but .I finally had enough with this troublesome unit!
We asked them to just replace the unit and go ahead and put in a larger one for upstairs. I got a great quote and they adjusted my quote even more for the recent repair visits.
Install was fast and professional but it still wasn’t quite right after one day of install. We called them because it was taking forever to cool down the upstairs...
I called Arctic Air back ...and they came back immediately and fixed the minor issue, (which was a defaulted lower fan setting inside the new unit....a factory setting) . They bumped it up ...and it’s cranking out the cold air to my satisfaction! It’s a much better unit and the price was great.
I’ll call them for sure to replace the downstairs builder grade unit someday.
When it’s time, I’ll certainly call Arctic air again.
They were professional, and reasonably priced and polite and came back when I felt my issue needed to be looked at more for my satisfaction. I hated having to drop a few grand to replace the 5 year old “lemon “ builder installed unit, but I’m so glad we did. Great job Arctic Air ! Thank you for fixing this issue and giving us a better unit.

Our AC went out and Artic Air was recommended time and time again so we called them. They came out the next day and got our AC going again with a new temporary part while ours was to be ordered. After some consideration, we decided it was time to put the next cost toward replacing our old unit instead of trying to keep our old unit going. They were able to get to us quickly. We were never pressured to buy a unit but was answered honestly to our questions. Artic air is who i will call to keep our new system going for maintaining it. They are very nice, professional, friendly and more. Call Artic Air and Jason will personally reach out to you even after hours. I highly recommend them.

What can I say! Super friendly staff, professional/dedicated technicians. Great job Jacob! He worked on this unit through thick and thin, even through a storm.

Artic air installed the AC/Heat in our home several years ago and we have been with them ever since. They are always friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable. Sometimes the owner shows up for our call which just shows how much he is "hands on" with his company.

I am absolutely impressed with the amazing customer service and professionalism of this company. From the moment I called I knew I was working with a professional office staff. I was treated like I was thier most important customer. The service technician that came to my home to service my air conditioner was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and seemed very proud of his company and his chosen profession. He exuded professionalism and answered all my questions knowledgeably and patiently. I would recommend Arctic Air to anyone.

EDITED: AC blower fan went out over the weekend. On call tech said he would call back, give us next steps, as well as pricing on fan motor. Heard back two days later. Had already moved on to different company.

Well, we had to get a new AC unit installed. But if anything made this experience a good one it was getting Jason Lathrop, Arctic Air of Northern Florida, LLC to install it.
Our AC had been on its last leg for a while now and it finally wore out. I called Jason yesterday. He came out and confirmed what we figured, it had finally died. 😩 (Jason has been babying our old one for a while now helping it to last.)
Arctic Air came out this morning and installed our new AC quickly. I call that efficient. I highly recommend Arctic Air. They were super easy to work with and have always gotten with us quickly when we needed them. Thank you Jason.

Purchased a carrier unit in 2015. Not more then a year later the motor went out. Call them for a repair and they sent out another company (his uncles company) to repair it. In 2020 the system went completely out. I called the office and they had no record of even installing or selling me the unit and the lady was unprofessional in her customer service. She just wanted to talk over me instead of listening to the issue. I had a 10 year warranty on the system for parts. She wouldn’t let me explain the issue. And with no record and the confusion I don’t recommend this company.

I did call back the company to give them the benefit of the doubt because I liked Jason so much. I told Liz that I had an issue with the the way Rachael spoke to me earlier but I respected Jason and she asked what they could do to make it right (appreciated her kindness). I said Rachael needed to apologize. She asked if Jason could call me the next day (10/14/2020). I said that was fine. I needed a new system. I didn’t receive a call at all. I haven’t made any statement up at all and as long as Jason allows his office manager to speak to customers this way he is going to have issues.

The first time I needed ac repair it was end of summer but hottttt … they sent someone out right away and fixed it with in a day. This morning I woke up to a sauna….the other unit had quit working & Even on a Sunday the response time of the owner himself was within the hour & my ac was back to working order soon after!
So grateful for this local business & them taking care of our home 2 separate times! I have no question or doubt who to trust with all our ac needs! Highly recommend! 10/10

Air conditioning unit saga:

The short version is we have known we've had a leak in our ac unit for about 18 months. We have been recharging the freon every 6-8 months or so. Originally, we called a local company from Callahan (local, mall business support, right?) and he couldn't find the leak in my AC unit. We recharged it 2 months ago, then called again and he recharged it and this time it only lasted 1 week! He said he still couldn't find the leak. He thought we'd have to rip out the concrete pad behind the house and replace the line set. 😬

Called for a second opinion and Artic Air came out that day, found the leak in seconds and got us the right unit in under a week. Installing it today.

I'm not here to bad mouth a local company, but rather give credit to another- if you need honest, reliable help with your AC, Arctic Air is fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

We won't waste time with anyone else again.

Wow did it get hot last week! Then both me and my parent's AC went out the same day. Technician Frank came over within a few hours. He had me up and running immediately. Had the part on the truck and installed in minutes! Quick & efficient. My father AC was actually much worse off. He has trouble breathing and was in dire need of a whole new system. The following day they installed outside HVAC and inside handler within 3 hours on a Saturday and my father was back to breathing ok again. Artic Air went the mile! Great company and great service!

Frank was fantastic. I called on a Saturday morning b/c the ac was out. He arrived a few hours later and fixed the ac in no time. Arctic Air is the only company to service my HVAC. Never had a bad experience with them.

We've been using Arctic Air for the past 7 since we moved here. Every November and ever May for winter and summer servicing. We needed a new AC could not be happier with job they did completely made sure they left all as they found it. Pleasant and polite. Very happy would highly recommend

We have been using them for years. Service is great! Prices reasonable. Jason and team made an extra effort to get us up and running when we had no heat during a freeze.

This was the week for maintenance on my HVAC system Jason Lathrop and his tax have served my equipment for many many years this week the tech was Mitchell and he was wonderful he took his time he did a thorough inspection and cleaning of the unit he changed out the filter he added the water to the sump pump little drain thing he was very professional polite respectful he did an excellent job I really appreciate the work and the people with arctic are the people in the office Jason himself and the technical staff thank you very much

I highly recommend Arctic Air of Northern FL for your AC needs. They replaced my AC unit and from start to finish it was the most seamless, professional and efficient experience. Their Servicemen are outstanding, so very courteous and helpful answering my questions. Their work is really high quality and I’m really happy with the end result!

So I called them about the outside unit not turning on for heat. Was told system is too old to repair, thermostat was supposedly bad as well. Quoted me 10000 to replace my heat pump and Air handler. Turns out it was the defrost board and the thermostat is fine. $ 600 and all is in working order. 🙁

Hands down would recommend Jason and his crew! From the first call to the last appointment everything was handled perfectly! Our AC is blowing cold again and we are beyond thankful! The owner, office personal, technician and install crew all went above and beyond! Thanks Artic Air!
