Woke up the other day with no air! The hall thermostat was blinking but nothing was happening. Called Arctic Air and Jason answered immediately. He showed up within the hour, fixed the clogged drain pan, added some freon and changed the filter. All finished in less than an hour and his price was quite reasonable. Can't ask for more than that and my air works great now.

Showed up on a Sunday and took care of my a/c unit that wasn't cooling. Great company and great people. Highly Recommend if you want amazing service

WARNING! Stay away from other companies!! I called another local company this last week and paid a gross amount only to have to call Artic Air to fix the problem. My HVAC ran worse than b4 and sounded sick to the point of keeping me awake at night. I called Jason after asking my facebook friends who to turn to. Jason fixed the problem QUICKLY, and honestly. and charged me a FAIR price. The unit runs quietly and efficently now. They have a lifetime customer in me after this experience. This is a company with integrity that WON'T charge you for unnecessary repairs and charge you fairly for those needed. 5 stars is not enough.

Friendly customer service. Not long of a wait for an appointment. Technician was polite and knowledgeable. The office even called me the day after the service to let me know that there had accidentally been a $50.00 overcharge and she was calling to resolve it! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

First contacted Arctic Air on a Monday that a/c wasn't working. They refused to come after 5pm on Tuesday or Wednesday (I was working those days & my husband was traveling). They agreed to come Thursday around 12. Called Thursday at 1:30 & they said they would be here by 4. Guy showed up at 4:30. Was told both outside & inside units needed replacing & they would call me Friday to let me know when they would arrive. He also said since we're tenants, we weren't a priority. Didn't hear anything from them until Monday. Finally at 8pm on Tuesday, the a/c was working. And although 1 of the techs was nice, they left my driveway littered with cigarette butts & a half eaten orange. The tech also said the old outdoor unit sitting in my side yard would be picked up the following day (Wednesday). Today is Sunday & it's still there, along with a dolly. Pretty sure the grass will be dead once moved. If someone offers to take the old unit, they can also take the dolly - we have a nicer one already. I would never recommend this company to anyone. From the secretary with poor people skills to the litterbug techs that worked at the speed of molasses, the entire experience was just bad.

A few years back, these guys gave me fair quote to replace our main Carrier system. The product arrived banged up. They wanted to install anyways. I said no thanks and they arranged for replacement. More recently, I asked them to quote my much smaller upstairs system for replacement and the price quoted is double what the larger one was. Inflation is not 300%. And they won't service the original, larger one they sold me and installed before unless I buy the very expensive smaller one from them. I am done with these jokers.

I've used Arctic several times now for different properties I own and have NEVER been disappointed. Their office staff and team of technicians are always polite, dependable, honest and a pleasure to have around. Arctic Air was recommended to me by several other people here on Amelia Island and I'm glad to have used them.

After speaking with Jason today, I've changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars & am recommending them if your AC needs to be repaired.
Jessup repaired mine on 9/10/21. Suzie in office was polite & kind.
The reason for my original negative review is bc Rachel was rude, disrespectful & condescending to me. My opinion of her is no different, but I am not basing my opinion of Artic Air solely on my negative interaction with her

Definitely do not recommend this company. Called as soon as they opened 8am and was told by a person not a operating system that a tech would call me later in the day. Waited until lunch time and I called them as it was taking too long to get a call back. I was told they had no record of my previous call and that they could possibly get me an appt three days from now. That will definitely not do so I called Jackfrost and they got a tech out to my house in less than 15 minutes! This company on the other hand just wasted my time and apparently have incompetent people on their phones. Definitely does not come across as professional especially with their replies to the other negative reviews on here

Arctic Air is the ONLY company I trust for my home and business (6 units in total) In my health club, it is essential that all units run exceptionally and Arctic keeps them in tip top shape. The owner, Jason is honest and dependable and won't rest until his customers are completely satisfied. Arctic Air responds within minutes to calls, arrives promptly and provides HONEST solutions based on my needs and not the needs of their pocket. I have a policy to always get 3 estimates on any type of repair or installation. Since switching to Arctic 5 years ago, that policy is out the window when it comes to air/heating needs...it's Arctic without question-EVERY time I need repairs and replacements.

I called Jason at Arctic Air because my unit had stopped working and it was 95 degree day. He came within 45 minutes, checked out my system and got me back running within an hour. He was very polite, well dressed representing his company and very knowledgeable about my system. His rates were very reasonable and I will be sure to call him again. I highly recommend Arctic Air of Northern Florida for all your AC needs.

Unequivocally recommend these guys! Jason is always so responsive, professional and genuinely committed to getting any HVAC system issues resolved as efficiently and quickly as possible. I literally reached out on a Sunday (very cold this morning) before 8 AM and was taken care of responsively, professionally and satisfactorily! I am GRATEFUL especially in the “climate” (pun certainly intended)…in which we live in where service providers are ALL short staffed, overwhelmed and over extended. called after hours on a Friday night after my A/C stopped cooling. technician TJ was at the house within an hour and had cool air back within 2 hours him tech showing up. googled what to expect for the repairs that were needed and pricing was fair. would definitely recommend!

I wanted to take a moment to compliment the outstanding job that Josh and Arctic Air of Northern Florida, LLC did on our home AC unit. We lost our AC today and as all us Floridians know how terrible it is to lose AC in the summer. We brought our concern to Arctic Air and within the hour of placing the service call they had come out and repaired our AC unit. We are very grateful for the unmatched level of professionalism and friendliness that was exhibited by Josh of Arctic Air. I couldn’t be happier in my experience with Jason and his team from Arctic Air. Fast response time , straightforward reasonable pricing and top level service / install work are what you can expect from this company. The installers , Jim and Brian , did quality work and left the area cleaner than it was when they got here. They’ll get my recommendation for anyone in the area needing HVAC work . All around great experience .

Jason Lathrop (owner) and the Arctic Air team promptly came out to assess our Ac/heat pump problem, quickly gave us options with firm estimates, then ordered and installed the new system (4-ton Carrier heat pump system) in a timely fashion. They identified the need for some extra work during installation, which they did at their own cost, with no haggling. Everyone was on time and professional throughout the project, and Jason followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy. Highest recommendation.

Came home from out of state to a broken AC unit. I’m 8 months pregnant and already miserable in this heat. We called 4-5 companies looking for help. Not only were they one of the only ones to call us back, Jason & his team had the part ordered and our AC unit repaired SO quickly. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Cannot thank them or recommend Arctic Air enough.

The owner Jason came and was very professional. My husband explained the symptoms and Jason showed my husband step by step what was the problem. The problem was a easy fix. I called to get routine maintenance on my system. They actually found something that needed replaced. Before they replaced anything, they showed it to me while still connected and it was all rusted out. I would have never seen this without their help. They scheduled a time to come back to do all the repairs and showed up exactly when they said they would. They cleaned their mess before leaving, were very professional and even wore a mask in the house as requested. I would highly recommend them. Great job guys!

Scheduling staff, Ashley, are great the techs Chad and Jason were great they have knowledge. Cleaned my system had a problem after but Jason came by, checked our system found the problem and made it right!! Give them a call they will do a great job.

I have had many horrible experiences with ac companies. THANKFULLY Jason at Artic Air was not one of them! He was fantastic! He was quick, on time, and professional! We couldn’t have asked for better service and don’t have the dreaded feeling that we’ve been taken advantage of! He walked me through every step he took so that I understood, showed me exactly what work he performed, and explained all of our options with pros/cons. Our family couldn’t be more grateful! We will be repeat customers from here on out and will recommend using Artic Air to anyone in need!
