He was hired to evaluate a "flip" home I bought. He pointed out many things that needed fixed and others that, while not defects, increased value. He also offered advice on how to address some problems. Since it is a frame house, he suggested a termite and pest inspector. I now have a one year guarantee against infestation.
I also have a very thorough and attractive home inspection report to leave on the kitchen counter for review by prospective buyers.

Mr. Richard Ross earned my respect when he performed an inspection on a property I was in the process of buying. I had only looked at a few houses and I fell in love with this one. Richard has probably done over 12 inspections over the last few years for us. He has done inspections on property we were going to sell- so there would be no closing surprises. He has done inspections of property we were going to buy, as well as periodic wind-mitigation and four point inspections on properties we own. The whole Frey and Son Team did an incredible job building our new home. They were respectful and detailed. They listened to your every need and made it happen. Would recommend they building your house and my next house.

Great quality home (Marsala) and value that withstood the extreme forces of hurricane Ian with very minor damage to mostly cosmetic items. The process of purchasing with Michael Ouellette and the rest of the team to design and develop the house plans and selections was straightforward and on the level. Any problems that were identified throughout the build process and final punch list were addressed by my building superintendent Joe Tedesco and resolved working with the various subcontractors. We have had a few warranty items after closing and the process of using Buildertrend to get them logged and fixed has worked out great to date. I would recommend anyone that is considering buying or building a custom home to check out the new Frey and Son model homes in Cape Coral.
