Jonathan and his crew did a great job cleaning up and shaping our huge oak tree, ligustrum and removing a 40' palm. I highly recommend Jonathan and Seminole Tree Masters!

Pros: Jon was friendly and charismatic as well as knowledgeable about the tree work. The entire team did excellent work. Crew was efficient, friendly, and really knew their craft. Price was very competitive. I would recommend this service to my friends and family as long as they are aware of the Downsides.

Cons: Nothing from quote to stump grinding was done on time. Hour late for the quote, two hours later for the cut job, and 16 days later for the stump grinding

Summary: If your schedule isn't tight and you're flexible with timeline, they are an excellent.

I had two dead tress in the back that I knew of. Jon came out and pointed out the tree in my front yard that was leaning towards the house that had a hollow base. We had no clue. His crew came out, took down the three trees, and trimmed my other oak trees which had some big branches hanging over my roof. His crew was very efficient and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. I was very happy with the job they did and the price was more than fair. I highly recommend Jon and Seminole Tree Masters if you need tree work done.

Jon made an immediately professional impression when he came out to give us an estimate. He provided a very thorough overview of how he would take down our tree and how he would protect our property and his employees in the process. He provided a cost estimate on the spot and was able to schedule us for the following week.

Work got started a little later than expected on the day of the job, but the crew still finished the work and the clean up before the end of the business day. They were polite and efficient and one gentlemen even cut and neatly stacked some of the branches for our firewood pile.

I had Seminole Tree Masters remove one tree and trim about 6 others. They had the best price by far (half the price of one of the other bids) and did great work. They were quick, clean, and did more than I expected. They even hauled off some other yard debris I had from some earlier pruning I did. I will definitely use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

In June 2024 after a reasonable bid, we had two big trees removed. The skill shown and clean up care was truly amazing. The 15x6x6 pile on our front sidewalk disappeared without a twig or leaf left! The experience of the tree climber was evident as each huge branch fell a few feet and then was lowered by the ground crew. I highly recommend.

Jon and his crew did a fantastic job. They were very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and professional. they go above and beyond to provide fabulous customer service. Their prices are extremely fair. I would recommend them to anybody at any time. Thanks Jon for such a great job.

Jon came out and gave me an estimate to trim a large oak in my front yard and some large branches from other trees in my backyard. I called and accepted the bid and the job was scheduled for May 8th. I took time off from work, as I wanted to be home when the job was done. I was text on the day of the scheduled appointment about 10:30 and told a piece of equipment (lift I believe) was down and I would have to be rescheduled. Not a problem, things happen. But, I have made several texts to Jon and to the”office” leaving messages about when would I be rescheduled? Jon text back saying he would be in touch (that evening). I have still heard nothing from him or from the messages I have left at the “office” where no one ever answers. I have been ghosted for almost a month with no reschedule.
I am a repeat customer, as I have used them in the past for the same huge oak, without problems. Not at all what I expected from this company for repeat business. Guess that is a big Thank You! Guess the customer service has really changed since I used them before. Would now not recommend them as I have done for years.

Good price, quick service, and that is where the positive ends. I had them remove 1 Drake Elm and 3 Sabal Palms. They finished up after dark so i didn't see the roof and gutter damage until the next day. Was promised someone would come out and take a look for 3 weeks. Nobody showed and they ghosted me. They will no longer answer phone calls or texts from myself or my son (he set up the job for me). The roof and gutters are 6 months old. Not a huge amount of damage and a little bit of customer service and this review wouldn't have been negative. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for.

I am a previous contractor so I am familiar with what to look for. Jon was very responsive, fair priced and did excellent work the same day. They removed 1 elm tree and trimmed 3 sago palms in about 2 hours flat!!I would recommend him and his team in a heartbeat.

As a woman, I get a lot of unsolicited advice. Once I became a homeowner, I got even more. 😂 I have a 40 year old, 50+ foot Magnolia tree in my front yard. I’ve been told by 3 separate companies that the tree needed help. Their quotes ranged from $600-$2500 to “fix my tree”. It all seemed a little fishy to me. I wanted one more opinion from an actual arborist… so I requested an estimate from Seminole Tree Masters LLC. Jon came out - told me I had a beautiful tree and that he didn’t see anything that needed to be done. So glad there are still honest people out there!!! Thank you! I would highly recommend Jon and his team for their professionalism!

We hired Seminole Tree Masters to come out and cut down a palm tree that has fallen during the last hurricane. The guy came out and told us that he would cut the tree, but leave the ball in the ground because it would eventually disintegrate on its own. However, they left a stump several feet high in the front of our house. I feel like we were misled. It looks terrible and we have been told that it will get us written up by our homeowners association. The guy also said that they usually haul away the tree cuttings, but that they would leave them since FEMA was coming around to get hurricane debris. Fast forward two months later, no one had picked it up and the tree pieces sat in our front yard. It began to upset our neighbors, so I gave Seminole Tree Masters a call to see if they would come pick it up. I also told they how unhappy I was about the stump that is sticking out of our front yard. They refused to call me back. I have called them 5 times over the past month and each time they text me saying that they will call me back, but they never do. I wanted to give them the opportunity to rectify the situation before I went ahead and posted a bad review, but after a month of never hearing from them, I believe they don't care about their customers. I am very upset that after paying them several hundred dollars to cut down our tree, we will have to spend even more money to hire someone else to fix this stump.

Do not give this company any money up front. Jon lied and gave me a bogus contract to install a fence and trim some trees in my yard. After taking my deposit on March 9 2026 and cashing my check before he even left my driveway trying to get work completed by Jon Fournier with Seminole Tree Masters has been one lie after another; to the point where I asked that he cancel the fence install that he claimed he did/could do and refund me my deposit. Over one month later and after numerous texts and claims that he is working on refunding me my money I have not seen or heard back from him. This has gone far beyond just a bad review. Don't fall victim to his lies and schemes just because he may have done a job for you in the past.
