I used Shelby for a repair on my house in order to close on it as well as the full renovation after we purchased it. We moved walls, and adjusted load bearing members, framed stuff, new electrical, plumbing, basically everything so it wasn’t necessarily a simple job. Shaun and Shaun were great to work with and communicated very clearly the whole time and we got what we wanted. Great experience - definitely recommend.

I contracted with Shelby Construction for an addition on my house. Before I decided to go with Shelby, I spoke to many contractors, received multiple quotes, reviewed contracts, and met with each contractor at my property. Doing any major improvement on your home is an important decision and picking the right contractor was paramount to getting this project on the right foot. After months of going through this process, Shelby Construction, seemed to be the best fit from every perspective. I am more than pleased with my decision and they have not only met my expectations, but they have also exceeded them. They were very responsive to concerns and have impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written. 90% of the time they picked up the phone when I called them, and when they didn’t pick up, they always returned my call within a few hours. This kept me as ease throughout the entire construction process. They are easy to work with, accommodating, responsive, knowledgeable and respectful of your property. I have been so pleased with them, I have recommended them to close friends and family. Recently, I had another property of mine effected by the unfortunate hurricanes our area experienced. In a time of chaos, Shelby stepped in and offered help. When I questioned why they would want to take on such a small project, their response was; “You are a customer, and we take care of our customers!” If that doesn’t tell you what kind of Company Shelby Construction is, then nothing will.

The Shelby Construction team did a fantastic job on my home renovation. We bought an older home which we knew needed a serious amount of work due to pests, mold, electrical issues and water intrusion in addition to being just plain dated. Think wood paneling and yellow laminate counters. We ended up gutting the house down to studs and rebuilding it with all new plumbing, AC, electrical, drywall etc. Shaun and his crew were very solution oriented and professional and made sure all of the work exceeded even my picky standards. I now have my dream home to raise my family in thanks to the Shelby team.

We did a big home renovation and built an addition with Shelby Construction. It went smoothly and the results are terrific. We get compliments from guests every week. The owners and GCs are great people who really care and use good communication. We are super grateful for this project.

Working with Shelby Construction was truly a 10 out of 10 experience. The entire team was amazing to work with from start to finish. We had major home repairs that needed to be done, and they not only fixed everything but went above and beyond.

They were punctual, professional, and extremely capable. Anytime I called, they answered and always put my mind at ease. Shaun Anderson and Sean Stickles are outstanding contractors, and by the end of the project, they genuinely made us feel like family.

Probably one of the worst electric jobs ever. Rude and arrogant employees who only consider themselves. Do not chose this company.

I don't know if they're any better at being electricians but their customer service is horrible. I wanted to be a new customer but evidently becoming a new customer is nearly impossible.

When I called Monday morning at 9:30 AM I initially asked if it was possible to have someone out that week. The girl has no idea. Nothing can be done until I fill out a new client questionnaire. This has to be emailed to me and faxed back. I ask if I can just give it to her now over the phone. No can do. Must to fill out a form and must fax it in.

An hour later, at 10:26, the "New Customer Form" arrives in my email. I quickly fill it out and fax it back. No response for over two hours. I call. The girl says the fax is down but she'll check and see if they got it and call me back. She takes down my number. No response, no call back for another two hours.

I call again and get a very young, immature girl who says "Yeah, our fax is still down, can you like...email it?"

I ask for a supervisor and after holding for nearly 10 minutes I get a guy named Pete. At first Pete seems like a take-charge, get-things-done kind of guy but ultimately he is just a no-count middleman and a clown.

He tells me he'll send me to someone who can enter my information in the system (annoying because that is what I asked for from the start) and in the meantime he'll see what is available this week.

It is now after 2:30, almost 3:00 and all I want to know is if it is possible for someone to come out this week and run some outlets for me. No can do. No one knows, Pete has no idea (even though he's supposedly a supervisor) and no one can tell you anything until your information is in their system. Obnoxious.

But I trusted Pete's nonsense. I figure he gets it. He understand everything I have been through just trying to hire his company to run a few outlets. He'll get back to me quickly and maybe even move things around to make-up for it. I hear nothing from him for over another hour.

Finally he calls and there's no availability for that week.

Wasted an entire day just trying to hire them.

They might be good at their jobs if you can get through all the nonsense red-tape it takes to hire them.

AVOID!

At the core of what every person hiring a company to care for their home or business wants is TRUST. In my many years experience with APG they have always personified trust and pride in their work. From the reception, billing, field and office staff, to every person I've interacted with each has shown pride in their work and company. It is rare to find a company of this size who is both professional and family based in this day and age. I truly recommend hiring them for your business needs.

I wanted to reach out to you. My name is Mark Monroe, and I am the Facility Director for Keystone Place at Terra Bella. Your company I feel has gone above and beyond my expectation of how service should be given. We got our CO in April 2018, and with some bumps in the road through our 1 year warranty your company was great. So I asked to have you stay on to service my needs for our facility. So for the last 4 months or so I have received outstanding service from your company. So starting with Tim White who invited me down to tour your facility and to meet his staff. I was amazed with how I was greeted and treated when I arrived. I have been doing this for a long time, and that I felt I was treated the same way that someone of a higher status then myself would be treated at other companies I have visited was amazing with your company. Among the staff that was present and I am sorry if I miss some names. Pete Hynemen, BJ Klingensmith, and Dori Fry also made me feel welcomed.
Before I met the above staff, I mostly spoke with Sara Cochrane with any and all issues with service. She is amazing with handling all my concerns. The service techs that was sent out Sal and Scott 90% of the time, were basically Awesome!! Since then the service department has sent out a few new tech’s that came out with either Sal or Scott, came for service or install, did a service call yesterday in my kitchen, and the 2 tech’s that have been here for that past week doing my yearly life safety inspection of my facility have been equally awesome. So much so that with talking with these great people and hearing nothing but great things about your company, I was almost was thinking of applying to your company 😊.
Your engineering department Michael Skene and the staff that has been taking care of me these past few months have been amazing also, keeping me in the loop and addressing my concerns.
So over all you should be extremely proud of your staff delivering great customer service above and beyond the standard norm in this industry.
