Chris G is a great addition to the FAST team. He was professional, courteous and explained everything he was doing. He recommended installing a surge protector which I agreed to do. He was extremely helpful and made me comfortable during the inspection process.

Joe M. saved my air handler. The system shut down due to water and a frozen line. He changed my filters and cleaned out all valves.
I also had a surge protector put in and a UV light system put in as my air handler is in the back attic.
A lot of work. Joe was polite and answered all my questions. He was on time and meticulous.
Staying on top of maintenance is very easy with Fast of Florida.

I hired a fast of florida contractor in Florida to add a second bathroom and update the plumbing in a home I was remodeling in Tampa. Unfortunately, their work was shotty. Every time a plumber was out, it was a different guy. My sink drain was too high, the guest vanity drain was not centered, and the double vanity drains were not centered either. They also messed up the opening for the toilets, so I had to use 10-inch rough-in toilets instead of the standard 12-inch. I highly recommend avoiding this contractor. Paid them $20k and had to pay someone to fix their mistakes.

Britton was amazing, fast, efficient, and we will work with Fast again in the future. 5 stars. Very happy with the leak fix under the sink and the faucet install. We have more work and will call back in the future!

Joe was great. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I really appreciate it when I can call for service and feel confident that it will be done well.

We used Fast of Florida to install an AC unit a few years ago, and they never completed the final inspection to close out the permit. We only recently discovered that the permit was left open, which should never happen after a professional installation.

After numerous back-and-forth phone calls, the city finally came out to inspect, and the inspection failed. The company came back out to address what was noted, but when the city returned for a reinspection, it failed again.

The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication and follow-through. Every time I call to get this resolved, I’m told, “We’ll have someone call you back,” which never happens. This issue has dragged on far longer than it should have, all due to poor oversight and customer service.

Leaving permits open, failing inspections multiple times, and not returning calls is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional AC installation.

They both exhibited professionalism, passion for their work and eagerness to answer any and all questions including demonstrating/showing me what/how to maintain my systems. Chris recommended and I had installed a surge protector on my unit while Curtis helped diagnose problem I was having with an electric grill. Scott was very helpful explaining what needs to be done all be it was a little pricey Scott was very professional friendly and knowledgeable, he is perfect to have on the fast team and will be calling for him when I need work done . Even helped give ideas for a smell a drain was causing and how to maintain /what products to keep the drains maintained and in good condition. I'm glad he fixed it but parts prices were a bit high & I didn't receive an itemized bill. We are very happy with his service. We will be calling Scott again for future projects. It is so hard nowadays to find AC companies that truly are experts in their trade vs. being salesman. Erwood technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. I have been very happy with their service.

Most AC guys are not familiar with Mini Split systems. Not Flo/Erwood Heating & AC. A friend had recommended them. They knew exactly what they were doing. I am an engineer & getting well trained, skilled techs I know, is not easy.

Things to consider when hiring an AC company:
1. Recommending the right system for a business or residence, without overselling. A system that is too powerful will not perform correctly and a system that is not powerful enough will not perform correctly. The Air-flo estimator recommended the perfect system for our home.
2. Workmanship: Having been in construction for 15 years, I recognize high quality workmanship. The workmanship was top notch and the technicians were friendly and explained everything, each step of the way. I was amazed at how precisely they contoured the duct cover that sits between the unit and the house. They took the time to make several precise measurements so that the cover sits perfectly between the unit and the house.
3. Customer service. This may be the most important quality of an excellent company. The office staff is friendly and they are excellent communicators. Unlike many companies, the owner Stuart is involved and friendly and introduces himself to customers. This helps to create a friendly, personal relationship with the company. As a customer, I feel comfortable calling Stuart any time and I know he is happy to talk to me. I rate Air-flo/Erwood 5 stars in all three areas. I highly recommend Air-Flo to anyone looking for a top-notch, reputable AC company.

The AC in the condo failed in July. My regular repair guy was too busy to help. I noticed a sticker on the old unit and wondered if they were still in business. Well they were and they still had the records of the unit they installed over 20 years ago. The unit had been giving us problems off and on for a couple of years so I got a quote, checked online for other prices, and it was fair. They bumped our job to the top of the list and finished the work in a half day. And they made sure it worked with my Nest thermostat. Thanks Stu and team!
