About a year ago, we had a new Rheem HVAC system installed. At the time, our AC system was constantly running, our energy bills were high (especially in the summer!), and the thermostat never reached our desired temperature. We called Air Care, and a technician was out the very next day to look at our AC, and another team the following day to install a new unit. The experience from start to finish was wonderful, and we use Air Care for our system check-ups right before our hot summers. Thank you!

I very much appreciated the initial inspection. Larry came by and inspected everything, left no stone un-turned, as they say. I was going to buy an entire new AC unit and he simply explained all the pros and cons and based on the age of my unit recommended I simply find the problem and get that fixed, which he then promptly found.

I appreciated that he showed me the problem with the unit. Was patient with my ignorance throughout the inspection, with my questions and curiosity. He also explained the consequences of having had this developing issue of loss of Freon. Explained it was a poison and was leaking into my house for several months, pounds of it.

Instead of paying for a new AC unit Air Care replaced the coil and lines. They checked over everything, were super quiet while doing so and did not leave big mess. They came back a week later and adjusted the amount of Freon and the unit is working like new. Would recommend them anywhere.

I would like to add that their installer is super nice, super well mannered and was a pleasure to speak with.

My experience with Air Care was amazing! The technicians that came over were highly professional and efficient with their work. Thanks to Air Care, my air conditioning no longer has problems and my house has been cooler than ever! It was well worth the money. I recommend this company to anyone in need of a professional business with kind and efficient workers.

Air Care Heating & Air Conditioning has No Concern for Customer & is Not Good at Diagnosing Issue. Air Care came out to check my AC when it was cooling, but not well. The technician was nice, but not thorough. He took my garden hose and said he cleaned out the drain line that is outside. He also poured something down the line at the unit. For this 15 minutes, Air Care charged $187.50. I let him know this was steep, as other people in the complex paid a lot less for cleaning the drain line. He confirmed maintenance, which he said was around $70, would have had more processes done. He said I didn’t schedule a maintenance and I guess he did not want to perform those services, since he was getting over double the cost. The woman who called to follow up the next day, was very unpleasant when I told her that I felt Air Care over charged for just cleaning the line. She kept trying to justify the expense and did not like it when I disagreed. She verified they charged a service call – even thought their website has ”FREE Service Call with Repairs” I left it, knowing that Air Care does not care about repeat business or care about customer service. I have told anyone I see that they should NEVER CALL Air Care for service. I guess if Air Care’s technician had checked the unit, he would have found the actual problem. It turned out there was more wrong with the unit and I had McConnell Air Conditioning come out – HIGHLY RECOMMEND McConnell Air Conditioning. I have to assume Air Care would like to charge another service charge and continue to gauge a client, until the client wises up and calls another company.

Fast, knowledgeable and honest. If you live in the Tampa Bay area these are the best Air Conditioning repair company. I woke up this morning and was sweating. Sometime in the middle of the night my houses AC stopped cooling. I called Air Care and the owner Larry took care of me. I coordinated with Judy and the tech Gary and they talked with me every step of the way. I setup the appointment the same day (today) and they stayed in touch with me and made the appointment. Within 20 minutes of Gary arriving to my house it was blowing cold again. Will never go to anyone else now that I found Air Care!

Tammy is GREAT!!!! I had another company come out and gave me an estimate of $1300 to replace my air handler blower fan, after charging me a $95 diagnostic fee, (No problem with the diagnostic fee).
I called Air Care and Tammy answered and she asked me questions, and got me a quote on a new replacement motor (Rescue Motor). $385 and she explained it is pretty easy to change it out, so that's what I did. Tammy saved me $900 and I can't thank her enough. I will recommend Air Care from now on! THANK YOU!!

Bought a motor for my AC unit. They offered great explanation on installing it. Mark, Mark, and Diane were very professional. But Bella was the star of their show! lol

This place immediately earned my repeat business. Extremely knowledgeable and eager to help. They ensured I left with the right part instead of just selling me something to make a dollar. Would definitely recommend checking these guys out before anyone else.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The service and support is well above what would be expected. Was offered multiple options with each option explained in detail and was given full support throughout the repair process. Would recommend them to anyone looking for hvac service or parts.

Had 2 other services come and recharge my Freon but could not find the leak but Air Conditioning Heat & Services of Tampa Bay had it pegged with the first 15 minutes! Solution applied with 20 minutes and I have been leak free for almost 6 months now. He is the MAN!

Amazing experience. The owner did not have the part and went to another location to find the part the same day and have it for me the next step he did which I cant believe it was gave is advise to buy two parts assuming it was the lower priced item. And offered if it fixes the problem. Return the higher priced item and will return money. Who does that? Well they did. Reliable and trustworthy!!

Mark is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I can always rely on him when I have a A/C problem. We were very happy with his service and will continue to use his company in the future.

Absolute legend. Mark will make you laugh and the competition cry. No more working in an 85 degree room. 11/10 would break my own A/C again trying to install a Nest. Strangley can't wait to the next A/C event.

I have referred him to several of my friends in my neighborhood and they were completely pleased with Mark, his work and the price. Also commented that he was very polite.

An AMAZING experience each time AC HEATING & SERVICES OF TAMPA BAY has come my home....of which I have had three....plus two offices over the past nine (9) years while living in the Tampa, St. Pete & Wesley Chapel areas of the Tampa Bay Area.

Here are some examples:
1.) While living in Tarpon Springs, I had two companies come out to see if my two units were broken. House temp always seemed to be at 80 degrees. One company said automatically to replace both units. Guy suggested 5 tons for both & recommended units at over $10,000 each or $20,000+. Second service guy comes out & says that there are freon leaks in the units. He didn't even look at the second unit! He feeds me full of BS & tells me they will find a lot of other issues if I don't replace all of the cooper throughout the AC System. Repair estimate for one side of my house was $3,500 to $4,000 ($7 to $8K!) - the cost of new units but without new units! I then call Mark Pugliano at AC Heating & Services. Other than finding that I had a bad relay board on one unit & the need to clean & service both units (they sit under oak trees with falling leaves), I spent a couple of hundreds of dollars, got a twice yearly service contract for both units, & was sitting in relaxing, comfortable and crisp cool air within two hours! AMAZING! It gets better!
2.) I moved to Wesley Chapel in 2012. First home there was a stepping stone to another house we were trying to buy but had to wait out a current tenant's lease, & then the passing of the owner just before our closing which caused us to wait for probate to finalize. In that time, our home had a compressor motor go out. Mark P. sent out his guys, who I found out had been working from Orlando to Brooksville and down into Sarasota. Within an hour, two AC Heating & Service Techs were at my home working on the main unit. One of the guys actually left & drove into Lakeland to pick up the part & get back to my home so that my wife didn't have to wait overnight, or over the weekend, for comfort and coolness! Thanks especially to Mark Jr. and Bobby for going above and beyond!
3.) Just before we finally closed on our residence in the Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort community in October 2015, I call AC Heating & Service to come inspect three older units and give me an estimate on not only replacing those units, but building a new system for our detached garage which I wanted to convert into a Leisure Lounge & Home-Based Business. The tech came out & went through each unit step by step. He provided me a full list of Pros & Cons about each unit. He said he would have Mark Pugliano come take a look as well. Both Mark and Mark Jr (called Markie by the way) showed up 30 minutes later & explained that 2 of 3 units were at the end of their life expectancies, but that they could keep them running for a couple of years while I saved & planned for their eventual replacements. Mark Sr. told me to close the deal & worry about the AC units later. Instead of spending $5,000 or more per unit after just buying a house, the two Marks then turned their attention to cooling, dehumidifying &heat pumping my future Luxury Lounge! And the end result for the right sized unit with great air quality, efficient cooling and less than what I would have paid just to replace one of the three units in the main house!

The people at AIR CONDITIONING HEATING & SERVICE of TAMPA BAY are FANTASTIC!!! I've recommended them to my family, friends and neighbors multiple times over the last 10 years. And each time after they've worked with my inner circle, I have gotten calls, texts and emails of thanks for the referral because AIR CONDITIONING HEATING & SERVICES of TAMPA BAY out-bid, out-worked and definitely over delivered on what other AC companies were saying or trying to do at prices that were neither affordable or with all of the extras that Mark P. and his team provides each time they come out on a call!

I have had so many bad experiences with AC maintenance that I get apprehensive everytime I call them. They have taken me for thousands of dallars. Once an AC person convinced me to buy a new system because he said mine was not worth fixing. Another time an AC person wanted to replace my compressor but my AC was still blowing cold air. I have more but it would be too long. Thank god for honest people. I finally met a person whom I can trust to do my AC work and this is a big deal because we always need AC maintenance for our system and we don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a minimum price tag. Mark Pugliosa is great at what he does. He is very knowledgeable and a real professional. But I think his most important attribute is his honesty. I was expecting to pay a lot of money for his work but he didn't want to charge me anything because it was a simple problem. I know if I called one of those scammer AC person, and there are many of them, he would make this job worth $500.00 or more. I recommend you call Mark for any of your AC work. I would be surprise if you will not be completely satisfied with his work and honesty. He is the type of person I love to pay because he is good at his work, he is fair, and he won't gauge you. Super nice and friendly people. Family owned business and was willing to completely go out of their way to help. Owner is also very knowledgeable on A/C components and repairs if you're a DIYer. Can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone.

I’m a retired General Contractor with extensive experience dealing with trade subcontractors. These folks are currently servicing the older HVAC system at my home. It’s a family owned and operated business and they are the best ! I’ve recommended them for service and new installation to family, friends and business clients and they’ve always come through. fixed our unit when we were in a pinch BUT.... totally bold face LIED to us about being Daikon certified which meant that they could NOT file our warranty claim. Took our $800 and never filed a claim under our warranty. We should have gotten back our $800 through our warranty but because Mark lied about being able to file a warranty claim and refused to return our numerous calls we had to file a fraud claim with American Express. DO NOT TRUST

Talked to Mark about some ac work. Made a appointment that I change with no problem.
Jeff came out on time and had all proper tools needed. He quickly checked out system told me what needed and performed repairs. If you need ac repair or service you cant go wrong with them.
