⭐️ Very Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience

I am shacked !

I had a scheduled AC service appointment and the technician who arrived was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. He had no manners and became argumentative when I politely asked him to remove his shoes before entering my home. Instead of respecting a simple and reasonable request, he refused to come inside and left altogether, completely wasting my time.

I even attempted to communicate with him through my Ring camera to resolve the situation, but he dismissed me by saying, “I don’t talk to cameras. I talk to humans,” which was unnecessary, disrespectful, and unreasonable under the circumstances.

After he left, I contacted the company expecting at least an apology for the technician’s behavior. Unfortunately, there was no apology at all. I was simply asked if I wanted someone else sent out, with no acknowledgment of how unprofessional the situation was.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The lack of professionalism from the technician and the lack of accountability from the company is unacceptable. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

Called for service on attic duct that had a hole in it resulting in moisture dripping from the vent into a closet. Contact was around 11:45am and appointment was set for 3:00pm. Nerley arrived a little after 2pm. He assessed the issue and provided options for the repair with pricing. After selecting the option I wanted he proceeded to make an excellent repair on the duct. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent service!

Before arrival - they said it would be $70 for the site visit - then tried to charge double that because we had two ac units (even though on the phone I had said we had multiple units). After arriving four hours late - the tech identified the issue as a Freon leak, and wanted to replace the coils (a $4000 job) in two units that are barely a year old without checking where the leak was even coming from (another $250 fee to perform the inspection….) - said there is an “80% chance the coils are bad” with no evidence of that…. We are a commercial client - felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation. Declined the service

The worst service came 5 times to the shop. Whenever they come they want to charge for the same work they did for about 6 months. It's always the same problem they never solve!! They don't give you a report of the problem! They simply come and want to charge again for "vacuuming the water with a vacuum cleaner" something that I can do myself and they charge $300 for each "diagnosis" they simply come vacuum and after two days the same problem returns the flooded shop! I don't recommend you, don't ask these people. They don't know what they do. Today they came for the same problem again and as soon as they left it started to drip again !!! This company was absolutely fantastic! Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and truly helpful. When the issue persisted after the initial visit, they returned promptly and resolved it without any hassle. We would highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again!

Easy experience. From he first phone call to schedule an estimate for a mini split unit to the appointment and installation.
The workers were really nice and professional and left the work space clean.

The service was not the best and I am disappointed in the outcome. The job was left unfinished with exposed dry wall a wires. The joys of having a new A/C with no filter is not the best customer service or service solution.

Josh from AMI Air Conditioning responded to my periodic AC maintenance call for my home AC today. My AC stopped working the day before. He arrived early in the morning, immediately started working and completed the task efficiently. After doing maintenance, Josh explained to me several metrics that indicate that my AC system is working well. I bought my Carrier AC system 2 years ago from AMI Air Conditioning and I'm pleased with the maintenance service that Josh and their other techs provide. I also appreciate the quick appointment scheduling done by Robin.

AMI is the most reliable and trustworthy A/C Company in south Florida. All of their service techs especially Steve, Corey, Casey and Adam are polite, friendly, professional and trustworthy. This is a family owned company whose values are honesty, integrity and responsiveness. Over the past 8 years, they have serviced and old A/C unit, install a new one and now they are servicing that one as well. If you want the best, call AMI!

AMI is a fantastic company! They diagnosed the problem with our AC immediately and gave us several different options to choose from on how to fix our issue. We ended up having them install a brand new unit and also add a second unit and the duct work. We couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Not to mention, every single person we dealt with in the company was extremely nice and helpful. They were on top of all the paperwork for the permit, kept in touch with us and were always on time. We would recommend them 100% to anyone needing air conditioning services.

Ami A/C is a company I highly recommend. Steve came by the day I called and fixed my ac quickly & efficiently after reviewing the issue and options. He was polite, friendly and professional. Same as other tech Adam I had for another issue, last year. The office people are super friendly and give you heads up on eta of tech. It’s SO hard to find good service companies in soFL; I definitely would tell anyone with a/c issues to call Ami.

We first used AMI in 2013 based on the glowing recommendations posted on Angie's List. We arranged to have a new Carrier a/c system installed and we couldn't agree more with the rave reviews. Everyone from the office staff to the technicians have been professional and a pleasure to deal with. During the colder months we arranged for the guys to come back and replace all of the duct work in our attic as the original ducts were showing their age. Again, a nice neat job and and I was surprised to find that they even straightened up the attic so we can actually find what we've stored up there! We opted to purchase a 10 year parts and labor warranty at the time of installation and we've had great service whenever we've had any issue whatsoever, including today. After a quick call to the office this morning, Steve arrived to investigate the situation. A short trip later to obtain a few replacement parts, and Steve had the system up and running before noon. One year we were traveling in Norway and received an email from our "smart" thermostat indicating a possible problem. I Skyped AMI from Oslo and they sent out a technician right away who gained access to the house with the help of a neighbor. He diagnosed the problem and took care of it before we arrived home (to a cool and comfortable house) from our vacation. As I said, the rave reviews are well earned.

Update (I thought the above had already been posted a while back): Today Adam showed up to take care of a problem with the A/C blower. The unit began to fail last evening and I contacted the after hours service line. Corey let me know they would get in touch with me first thing in the morning and have it taken care of. As promised I received a call from the office to make sure what parts to order and within a few hours Adam arrived to swap out the blower unit and very soon we were nice and cool once more. The great thing about AMI is that their service technicians stay with them a long time, so you are dealing with seasoned professionals who know what they are doing. Adam, one of the regulars, is good guy to deal with, courteous and helpful (even my dogs like him!). Judging from my experience, you'll never go wrong dealing with AMI.

Scheduled routine maintenance for our AC unit (2/10). This is our first time using this company but I am very happy with the service. As new home owners we had to transfer service agreement and have someone come out to check our unit. Josh arrived on time and was friendly from jump. He was thorough, very professional and took his time to explain everything to me. Of course, I asked lots of questions but I never felt rushed. Josh was very patient and provided all the details. I will definitely be requesting Josh for all future service appointments. Thank you!

I had my unit installed by AMI 6 years ago and it was a good experience, so even without a maintenance contract, I called them twice for services needed. Today I had Steve coming to do maintenance. He was very punctual and polite, explained everything that he did and told me what was good and what needed fixing; no pushing, just recommendations, which I decided to go for. Bottom line: I'll recommend and continue to use AMI :)

AMI has installed our air conditioner and maintained it for several years. They have always been totally professional, prompt and had excellent pricing. I definitely would recommend them.

12/31/19 update - AMI continues to do a great job at maintaining our A/C unit. If we have a problem they are here promptly. Today Anil helped in fixing a complex problem with our Carrier unit. I absolutely recommend AMI for air conditioning needs.

Dustin serviced our AC today. Very prompt, friendly and informative. Answered every one my questions and I had plenty. My daughter and her husband use AMI and I was there when they needed AC service the day they had just bought home a newborn baby. AMI was there till the job got done late at night. I was very impressed. When my now former AC company failed to give me the service that I thought I deserved, I remembered how impressed I was with AMI at my daughter’s home. I’m very happy with the service today and will be using them from now on. Let’s hope though the next time isn’t until the next 6 month maintenance but I have faith and feel very good about that because I think they did a great job today!

Adam & Rudolph listened to my concerns, checked my A/C thoroughly , and told me what needed to be repaired. They worked quickly and were very professional and took the time to answer my questions. AMI installed my AC 9 years ago and all of my air ducts in 2017. It's a friendly, family owned business ad I recommend them.
