Was a very reliable company for years. Had a great technician who unfortunately passed away. They have not been able to find a reliable technician to replace him.

They claim they are coming, but the technician does not leave any slips, and it is obvious the pool is not being cared for. I spent some time reviewing my security camera footage, and I know they are not coming once a week as promised. The pool going green due to being full of algae was the final straw. They still claim to be coming. No more Pool Pros for me.

We had Pool Pros upgrade our system 3 years ago and couldn't be more pleased. We recently had a pool leak, and they came out promptly and found the leak and fixed it. Everybody we have delt with is polite, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Pool Pros. These guys know what they are doing.

This company is horrible. Our general contractor hired them to renovate our pool. The quality of the work was fair in some ways but poor in others. Especially poor was the tile work at the water line. They did not allow the mortar to dry before they grouted. We had them re-do a section, and they still did the exact same thing, so we forced them to tile a third time. The pebble surface was blotchy, so they had to come back and treat our pool water with acid. Their weekly pool maintenance was poor quality and unreliable. We fired them midway through the year, and for many months they refused to refund the unused portion of the annual payment we had made. Just this week we finally received a partial refund with a note explaining that a former employee created problems.

I have been calling for weeks and speaking to a Tiffany who ensures that I can only speak with Dan Shepard about the issue and she keeps saying, “I’ll put this through to him again” with no response. The service has gone way downhill, pool not clean, and lying about services performed. I watched the pool man arrive at 10:55 and by 10:59 he was driving off. Yet his sheet (that he set down as soon as he walked into the lanai) says he skimmed, brush tiles, and cleaned other parts of the pool…I don’t think he realized I was home. Plus, we go into the pool often and even though they are claiming they clean the tiles, they are covered in green buildup that comes off with a swipe of the finger….walls have build up too. I would never recommend this company. I think they must’ve bought out our previous company because we are not used to this poor level of service.

Edited to Add: Instead of trying to rectify the issue that I have been calling about for weeks… Tiffany calls and left a voicemail saying “We saw your bad review, does this mean you are canceling service? Let us know so we don’t come tomorrow.” What an absolute joke of a service.

Did a great job getting our pool in tip top shape at first, but after we got the service contract the pool is dirty and not usable most of the time. They also charged us more than the plan we picked for months and that still hasn't been resolved. Always have billing problems and when they say they will call back, they never do. Been trying to ask about paying more to get whatever service is necessary to make our pool usable or moderately attractive but they are not even interested in making more money.

Edit: The owner response to this review regarding the price does not match the contract I signed originally.

Pool Pros came out 10-24. We told him we did not call them. He said he has a work order that says "wife authorized" (no name?) I told him it wasn't me. He said maybe our pool person put it in. We had talked to our pool person for 10 minutes and he never mentioned it. Also, I live in a gated community and they were not on my list. I called the office and requested a manager but he wasn't in. I explained the issue. Beverly said someone else called in for their house and it was posted to my account. They have 16 accounts on my street and it was an honest mistake. We were lucky we were home. What if their "honest mistake" had cost me several hundred dollars in unauthorized charges? When we told him we didn't call, why didn't the service person believe us?

FOLLOW UP Joe the owner called me and apologized. He was very concerned and said he had talked to the people involved. He didn't make excuses, just owned it. Now that is good business.

I am a new pool owner with very little experience and we just got this above ground pool to keep our children busy during Covid. For whatever reason I could not keep the pool clear. After torrential downpours it would turn green or cloudy no matter the amount of chemicals I would put in. I needed help. Joe Mitchell is a friend of ours and we just called him for some suggestions. He gave us free advice which helped a little bit. But the chemistry was still a little off. To my surprise, he shows up at my house today and tested my pool for free and reassured me everything is ok. This is a guy who is used to building and servicing big commercial and residential pools and yet he took time out of his busy schedule to check on my rinky-dink vinyl pool! He’s got a big heart for people and I think it speaks volumes of the kind of company he runs.

A Pool Pros service vehicle attempted to recklessly run me off the road on my bike, approaching a stop sign on Pine Rd, the morning of 09/19/2025. I contacted the company by phone and asked if there was someone I could speak to about it, and was told "no". Clearly not a company that cares about how their employees behave.

Simply outstanding!  I recently bought a house in Cape Coral, and the previous owner had neglected the pool.  After four weeks, the pool maintenance company that we hired told me that they could do nothing about clearing up the water because the pool needed to be refinished (at an estimated cost of $8700 and with a 3 month wait).  I was so fortunate to find Joe at Pool Pros!  Take a look at the before and after pictures - that was what Joe was able to do in 4 days!!  Joe and Pool Pros are absolutely the best!!

Fast response to a pool heater issue just prior to selling a home. Family operated and very active leader in the chamber of commerce and community organizations and supporting kids programs. Definitely include Pool Pros in providing a quote for a new pool, redesign or maintenance.

Plaster Overspray went everywhere and damaged our car and many others at hotel. Tiffany says Joe will call but I'm still waiting. She said "the owner" is now dead so they are not responsible. I've been chasing them for 9 months. Employees ran from the job site when confronted. Not a reputable business. If you want your ENTIRE property coated with PLASTER, be sued by your neighbors, call Joe.

RUN as fast as you can from this company. They employ irresponsible kids to run the projects (ours was Alex) who do not stick to timelines, quality control is terrible and communication is even worse. Had a simple job or remodeling the pool (plaster and tile). We rent the house and chose to do the work while we were having our bathrooms remodeled (complete tare down and remodel). The tile work was shotty, they did not finish on time, did not test equipment correctly after ultimately leaving us to have to send refunds to renters and getting low reviews because the pool was not working properly. To add to this, I books a $650 flight to go out and check everything out. This was communicated to them and when I arrived the job was not finished. Lost over $2k on rental refunds and flights. When I brought this up to them they couldn’t care less. We had a small balance left and I refused to sign off until I could see the completed work. We had a renter in the house for 60 days. When said this to them the kid managing my project (Alex) he sent me the follow text.

Repairs cannot be performed without our prior authorization, as we are the original contractors responsible for the remodel. If you hire a third party to undertake the repairs, we will not be liable for any associated costs.

Furthermore, if the invoice is not settled by the end of thisweek, we will be compelled to void your warranties and proceed with a lien on your property.

If you chose this company, be prepared to be extremely frustrated and disappointed.

The entire Attic Inspection process was excellent thanks to TPS - Attic Insulation & Roofing Services Co, FL. They went over my radiant barriers in detail and described how they aid in temperature regulation. They also examined my air conditioning and heating systems and identified spots that needed work. The thorough examination of the mold revealed a small problem before it got out of hand. Their guidance on mold removal was useful and realistic. Their clear communication and professionalism were much appreciated.

We got Pool surface done,6 months later new cracks and paint coming off.

Your Guys came out this AM and fixed my walkway down to the dock.
They were excellent in fixing the walkway and I thank you for the Great Job. Would use you again if I need your services

i had pump and spray company stabilize my seawall that was leaking sand Hector and Robert did a great job , very professional explaining everything . Would give them a 10 if i could.

They resurface my Pool deck back in January 2020 for $3,336. Now cracks reappear again. call them many times phone seems to be disconnected also website is suspended..I think they went out of Business.

Excellent customer service! Prompt, professional, friendly, and no problems or frustration from them with my endless questions about the process. Cleaned up after themselves, worked efficiently, and my deck looks 100 times better! I highly recommend this company!
