My go to team for tree removal and trimming!

The Big City Team removed a dying tree that was hanging over my house and my neighbors quickly and efficiently.

Didn’t remove stump; won’t return calls; filing a Better Business Bureau complaint b/c now we have to spend more money for something they should’ve done before our sod can be laid.

Big City cut down 12 trees in my backyard and grind down the stumps. Owner was very easy to work with and responsive to messages/questions. The cost for the service was a great value, and they cleaned up before they left. Very satisfied.

This review is strictly on customer service and not work done since I couldn’t get anyone to show up on the day of. Scheduled an estimate to cable my Oak tree and on the scheduled day a no show. Texted Rich and he apologized and said he forgot to put me on the schedule. Too bad, I don’t do business with businesses that don’t call and show up. No excuses. Lots of other businesses willing and able.

Big City Tree Service was responsive and professional. The quote process was simple, scheduling was easy and they showed up on time. They did exactly what they quoted, cleaned up afterwards and did a great job. I'll use them again in the future.

We highly recommend this company. They arrived on time and the work was completed as agreed. The caliber of the work was excellent and the clean-up was thorough. As a bonus, they were the least expensive of the four estimates we received. Rich and his crew were great.

They can get pretty busy because “when you’re great, everyone wants you”. But Rich can usually manage to fit your schedule, with honest and fair pricing for the services and a job done very satisfactorily. Overall this company offers a great value. I’ve used them several times and plan to continue.

🚨 it took these ppl 4 years to even reply to my review. Where was the apology 4 years ago? Then you have the nerve to word it as if there was a conflict in scheduling. There was ZERO conflict in scheduling. Your company BLEW us off. That is called COMPLETELY & TOTALLY dropping the ball.

I see the most recent review was another no show by your company. Seems like a common pattern. Here's an idea - rename yourself from Big City - to BIG JOKE.

With so many good reviews on this company I was excited to contact them to set up a estimate to have tree work done.

I contact him Friday May 17th, via text and he said he could come out Saturday May 18th between 12 and 1.

I have a tight schedule the entire day but allocated the time for him to come on the time he set. Well, the 17th comes and I waited up until after 1:30 then texted him; to see if this guy would want to reschedule. As I write this it is now 2:30 p.m, no text reply or call...

I never received a text back or a phone call. As a final effort to give the guy a chance I called him on the phone. He did not pick up so I left him a voicemail stating I would give him this review and to cancel the appt.

People have busy lives just like I'm sure the this business owner does but when you set an appointment which YOU (the business owner) selected the time for and you cant make it... things come up (personal or otherwise) and that is part of life, however, please have enough courteousness to update your potential customer. As a former business owner this is how you survive and thrive 101.

It may just be an estimate but who knows what kinds of business might have come from it. Any Customers time is just as valuable as your own wouldn't you agree?

People have other things to do besides track you down wondering when or if you will show up.

If you are reading this and trying to decide on a tree service... strongly take my review experience into consideration with this company so you can save yourself from these time wasters.
