ABACO Air Experts was awesome! I called on Thursday evening after 8pm and they scheduled my appointment for the next day. They kept me apprised of the technician's arrival time. The technician was courteous, professional, and technically competent. He resolved my issue quickley.

I have called Chris more than once over the past 5 years. No matter how busy he is he seems to make time. I called on a Monday morning at 8 am and he was at my house in less than 2 hours (and its a 45 minute drive.) He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and had the problem fixed by Wednesday morning. Support small local business and give 5 star a call.

Best HVAC experience! We had a snake crawl into our unit and fry the electrical board. They were able to come out within 2 hours of calling. The owners son arrive and patiently answered all my questions and explained the diagnose process as he went though. He also taught us how to prevent future issues. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!

I referred my elderly parents to this company and they came out right away to repair a Mitsubishi heating and cooling unit. The owner of the company was very honest and reasonable priced. I will definitely use their service again.

Before Chris and Brandon came my A/C was having major problems. They came and diagnosed the issue thoroughly and got me a new system in here. I have never had my air blow so hard and so cold that bags were moving. If you need your house cold in the summer. And hot in the winter. These are the two men you should be going to. My AC went out last night, started calling AC repair all over and no one could get to us until this afternoon so the house would really be hot and take a while to cool down. Called 5 Star and they could be here in 20 minutes. They were and fixed the problem fast and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend you call them if you have a Heating or AC problem. The service men were quick and efficient and kept me informed every step of the way. Can't ask for better service!

We had an a.c. emergency in the middle of summer and Brandon came out, discovered the problem, suggested the solutions, and saved us a lot of stress by making everything easy. He also explained everything in terms I could understand and showed me what was wrong instead of forcing repairs down my throat that I didn't need. He was professional and even worked in the rain to get the job done. This guy was amazing and I've definitely found my "go-to" for anything a.c. related! I had a horrible service call from a different company who came out and told me i had a leak. They didnt even pull my filter. So I asked my friends and they all told me to contact Chris at five star. I did and boy was i happy!! He came out on his off time...completely checked out my system. Found out I did not have a leak like the other company said i did. My coils were just filthy! Chris got me back up and running for a VERY REASONABLE PRICE.i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIVE STAR HEATING AND AC TO EVERYONE!! As a matter of fact I've already referred one friend there. I am really happy with my experience with Mr. Chris Null and his company. He made the process of replacing my heat pump so easy given my circumstances. A little background info: We are a military family currently in Virginia on orders, our Jacksonville home is rented out. We have a property management company that is worthless! Chris made the process so easy and stress free for me. He is honest, I started our conversation by telling him I know my system has a leak and it uses the R22 refrigerant that is going away in 2020. I wanted a quote for a new heat pump. He let me know right away that if I am only concerned about the type of refrigerant that there are other options other than replacing the whole unit and if someone jumps right into the "you need to replace the unit" then they aren't being 100% honest. I wanted a new unit due to the leak and the type of refrigerant. He gave me a quote based on what I described regarding my house, he told me it could change a little after he was able to gain access to the house and put eyes on the existing setup and breaker panel. The hardest part of this whole process was getting my property management company to cooperate and contact Chris to let him access the house. They eventually just gave him my tenants information and he worked directly with my tenant. After viewing my existing unit I wanted replaced, the final price was LESS than he originally quoted. To do the job, he required 1/2 payment upfront and then the equipment would be ordered; final payment was due after job completed. Since, I am out of state and didn't want to delay the installation process by mailing a check, I instead went to a local bank branch in Virginia and asked to deposit directly into his business account. Within a few minutes of me making the deposit and letting him know, I was informed that his son was ordering my equipment to be picked up that afternoon and within the hour he had already pulled the City of Jax required permit and sent me copy. The next day, he completed the install. After the install, he sent me copies of the invoice, registered the unit for the warranty, photos of the inside and outside work completed. This was so smooth and I'm happy and my tenant is happy and cool. Chris was great with either calling or texting me every step of the way to keep me informed and best of all he was HONEST! Thank you!

I highly recommend using 5 Star Heating and Air. My ac froze up and when the technician came out he did a wonderful job. He didn't try to upsale me and recommend a new unit even though it is 7 years old. He was very honest and fixed the issues all while explaining to me what those issues were. When we do decide to install a new unit we will be giving them a call because of his thoroughness. Great customer service. Great company.

We called 5-star after we had another company come out 3 times without properly diagnosing the problem. The team was extremely knowledgeable and spent a significant amount of time inspecting every piece of our system and even cleaning things up here and there that they did not feel was perfect. They communicated with us every step of the way so that we understood what was being done and why and gave us a heads up on things that might need to be done in the future. We never felt like they were trying to pressure us or trick us into purchasing unnecessary services (which we have experienced with other companies before). When we have concerns in the future, we will absolutely be calling 5-star. Thanks for all of your help!
