I entrusted Whitley’s to replace my entire AC system (outdoor unit and air handler in my garage) because of the comprehensive product and industry knowledge that the company’s owner (Raymond Whitley) was able to provide. My trust was completely validated during the installation of the new system. The attention to detail during the system install was truly impressive. ALL aspects of the AC system in my home were upgraded when Whitley’s installed the new equipment. Whitley’s noticeably improved the airflow/ comfort control in my basement by cutting into a concrete wall so that an air return vent could be installed and incorporated into the air handler ductwork. Whitley’s AC system expertise has completely transformed the appearance and functionality of the climate control system in my home. Unsightly wiring, rough-looking openings in the garage ceiling, shabby looking air return vents and various other “eyesores” were eliminated by the superior workmanship of the company’s installation process. For these reasons and more, Whitley’s Heating and Air has accrued almost 700 5-star reviews, including the one I am posting today!!

Whitleys has been so great to work with. Kim is so responsive and helpful with scheduling, their billing is super easy, too. And Jake came today to do maintenance and I told him some of the others in the office were in meetings and he was super respectful to be extra quiet- he even asked if it was okay to knock when he was done. I really love and appreciate how these guys do business! These are my go-to!

I called after 5pm on Tuesday, someone called me back same evening and we scheduled for the next day. The technician that came out was very friendly and solved my issue fast. I’ve been using Whitleys for the past 7-8 years for my personal home and rentals. I’m very pleased.

Best A/C repair I've had in St Johns County. had requested another highly rated A/C company to check out my issue, within minutes they advised that I needed a whole new unit. Decided to get another opinion and when Whitley came out they advised that the fan could be replaced and the cost would be 1/15th of the cost of a new unit. Really nice guy, extremely knowledgeable.

Our AC stopped working on a scorching Sunday afternoon with outside temperatures hitting 100 degrees. Thankfully, I had Whitley's saved in my phone after seeing several real people recommend them as honest and trustworthy. I gave them a call and got a prompt callback from Raymond, who arrived within 30 minutes.

He quickly diagnosed the issue—a clogged drain caused by a poorly designed drain pipe. We’ve been regularly cleaning the drain, so we had no idea the real problem was the improper slope of the pipe. Our AC unit is only four years old and was installed by AC Designs, who clearly didn’t do the job right. By the way, we have an active maintenance plan with AC Designs, who never caught the problem (their own poor work!!) after several maintenance visits! Raymond fixed the issue right away and installed a new section of pipe to ensure proper drainage. No upselling, no pressure—just honest work at a very reasonable price.
It’s rare these days to find an AC company you can truly trust, but Whitley lives up to its great reputation. Highly recommended!
