Tampa Bay Air Conditioning is our AC service company. We are a private residence. We had a central system replaced around 20 years ago. We have had a couple service calls in the last couple years where TBAC has responde quickly on weekends. They are not cheap but they are responsive, expert & get the job done.

I recently had Tampa Bay Air Conditioning Inc. service my 20+ year-old AC system, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Easy to schedule appointment for AC unit cleaning. Office Manager always calls right back and is very pleasant. Service technician was courteous and efficient. He cleaned outside coils and inspected everything. I would recommend Tampa Bay Air Conditiong, and will use them for my yearly AC unit cleaning and for service if we need repairs.

When I make large expensive purchases, I like to wait to write a review so that potential purchasers receive a review that has some real experience. That being said I have been a Trane customer for 15 years. In my previous residence I had installed Trane products and was totally satisfied with their performance. When I purchased my current residence in Florida, I inherited an 18-year-old HVAC system that was functional but was a single stage system. Because of my previous experience with multi-stage systems, I knew that I had to upgrade. I also had previous experience with Tampa Bay AC in another home that I own in the area. Because of that previous outstanding service experience, I called Tampa Bay AC and was very impressed with the couple hours I spent with the knowledgeable Ronnie Smith as he determined my requirements and prepared the quote. I also had other issues that needed to be addressed, one room super cold and another overly warm. I purchased the 20 TruComfort Variable Speed Heat Pump with their Hyperion Variable Speed Air Handler. These units are controlled by the Trane Link UX360 thermostat. The team arrived on my property on a Tuesday and wrapped up the installation and re-configuration of my ductwork by Wednesday afternoon. Very impressed with the installation team, very professional and accommodating, including explaining any and all nuances of my installation. The most important element in any new HVAC purchase is the installation, you can have the best system but if it wasn't installed correctly your problems have only just begun. Now that I have used this system for a few months I can report that the un-even climate in my house has been corrected and the system has not failed to keep my house at 74 degrees and 48% humidity. I like the fact that I can control my system remotely with Trane's phone app and this system can relay information and problems to Tampa Bay AC so that they can be prepared for any service call that could arise. The second-best part of this installation is the energy consumption that I have documented. Fortunately for the last three months the average outdoor temperature has only varied one degree up or down compared to the same period last year and I have ensured that there were no other variables in this test period. This new system has reduced my KWH monthly consumption between 24.01% and 25.16%. In conclusion, I highly recommend Tampa Bay AC and the Trane variable speed products noted above.

I wasn’t sure what was going on with my system so I contacted Tampa Bay Air. I was actually surprised that they had a tech at my house within several hours. I thought for sure it would several days. The tech that showed up was awesome! He did a thorough evaluation and not only kept me informed of his findings of every step but also educated me more than I could imagine. Will definitely call these folks anytime I have AC issues in the future and would recommend you also do.

We recently purchased a house and inherited four(!) A/C units in the process. I searched reviews for local Trane dealerships and came across a 4.9 rating for Tampa Bay A/C. A smaller company with concerns to service their most "in need" clients first, I had to wait a few weeks for routine maintenance, but am so glad I did.

Before the visit, their home office staff (Lisa I think) helped me get my Trane units re-registered to me for the remaining warranty. Trane even waived the transfer fee for me.

When Robert and Geo arrived today they couldn't have been more professional and courteous. Rather than just setting about their routine, they heard out the issues pointed out by our home inspector and some things I had found. They tackled those issues with no problem and even sent me pictures of what they had fixed. All air handlers and condensers were inspected and some minor parts replaced. Filters replaced as well.

It was definitely worth the wait for routine maintenance to have Tampa Bay A/C come out and take their time with a thorough inpsection at a fair price. We have worked with a lot of new vendors moving into a new home, but this company truly stands out. Easy company to highly recommend!

Tampa Bay Air Conditioning came to my aid back in June of this year and went way above the call of duty when my condensate drain line had clogged. The technician Robert was so incredibly helpful, finding my drain line that had been buried under ground for over 15 years (of which a prior company of self-proclaimed “masters” never found in that time) alleviating the constant backups I had incurred forever. I was convinced that the drain line must have been routed into the sewer, but Robert insisted we could find it and sure enough, he did! Also, the dispatchers and everyone I spoke to were so clear, forthright and helpful (unlike the previous mentioned company who has in recent years, unfortunately, become much more shady) giving me a sense of assurance and trustworthiness. They were quick to help me and very positive throughout the process. My system has held up well in the meantime and I know who I will be trusting to service it going forward. Definitely give Tampa Bay Air Conditioning a call!

Geo Vega was our technician that provided annual AC maintenance services. He did a great job! We have used Tampa Bay Air Conditioning for decades! They are a great and honorable family run business! You cannot go wrong with this firm!
