Just had my first experience with one hour air-conditioning and heating. They were on time. They were able to repair my unit quickly. Yasser was the name of the technician that came to my home today. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use them again and refer them to others.

Wish I would’ve called sooner, Alberto was my technician very professional and knowledgeable. Though the fix was small, he was very thorough and checked for things I would’ve never noticed. Their prices are reasonable and you can’t beat the customer service. Highly recommended.

Also this occurred because you cancelled a critical maintenance before I left for summer. I told you as much! Now I have a huge drywall repair bill we could have avoided. Just terrible.

Joel Abreu from One Hour Air Conditioning came and diagnosed and did a great job cleaning our HVAC system that was full of dust from work done renovating our bathroom. He was on time and worked hard for several hours with the AC off on a hot Miami summer day. I’ve had excellent service from One Hour AC every time I’ve need help.

Installing a brand new air conditioning is a complicated and time-consuming task. It is also very challenging at this time when the summer heat is beginning.

These gentlemen worked very hard, in a coordinated manner, and were very focused, They were experienced, courteous to me, attentive to my questions, and very professional.

I am very happy with the installation and the state-of-the-arts smart thermostat Nuve. It has a lot of interesting features.

During the course of the installation, several challenging issues surfaced, and they were solved very satisfactorily.
They have a strong commitment to service with the goal of making a customer happy.

From start to finish, absolutely superb. I had to end up completely replacing an old air con system in the house I’d just moved into. It was not an easy task for various reasons. From the day prior, to temporarily getting my decrepit air con working til next day to replace the whole system, the service was phenomenal. The men worked tirelessly for 12hours in 90 degree Florida weather! The work was flawless. I’m sorry I did not get all the names to special mention. However all of them were lovely and extremely hard working and polite. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Mom called me late when I was about to leave work. I did a search online and called one hour heating & air conditioning. Our A/C was dripping. They sent out a technician named Alberto Ricardo. They informed me that emergency trip charge was a little more the normal working hours. Total fine with me. Alberto did the great job checking the air handler and outside Fan, condenser and compressor. Gas level and leaks. He sent me pictures of each item he checked afterwards. During the final diagnostics he presented me three different repair options. I opted to fix the problem without the upgrades this time. He cleared the drain pipe and the unit was back online and best of all my parents are happy. I would recommend using this company. I hope they send Alberto next time we have a problem. I plan to looking into their monthly service at a later time.

Great service. Came same day I called and in the time frame. Technician Israel Gomez put my Pioneer minisplit back in business. Also explained AC situacion and how to proper maintaining it. Also recommended the maintenance service provided by the company twice a year. I recommend highly One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Miami. 4.9 Stars and 560+ reviews said all.

These people just totally took advantage of my wife when our AC broke. I was out of the house at work when they came to repair our AC/ They charged us $446 to change the 60 AMP disconnect. These parts go for $15 online. Then they charged us $265 for a new capacitor. These also go for around $15 online. Charges us $446 for a surge protector, they go for around $75.

No labor was itemized on the invoice. But I know swapping these pieces out couldn't have take more than a couple hours max.

I understand everyone needs to make money, but this is a complete abuse of my wife's trust that this "5 Star" rated company was giving us a fair price.

Yasser was great! Came quickly, was very thorough and detailed. Fixed our issue in no time.

Over a year ago I gave 5 stars but today I didn’t feel the experience was worth five stars. Our fan motor stopped working and it’s under Lennox warranty but the technician, Oleider, insisted the part would not be available for weeks because it’s imported but it would cost $500, however for a universal part it would be available tomorrow and cost $900. I didn’t believe him and my hunch was right. I called Lennox myself and it was available today in a warehouse in Cutler Bay. I was able to have another yet smaller company install it today for $450. Lastly, Oleider, said the unit would need replacing soon which we know. These units barely make it the 10 years but the only brand 24 hour air installs is Goodman because of its 10 years warranty on parts & labor but the price was outrageous at $14k. I don’t feel I can trust 24 hour air who seems to only care about the money.

Our AC started making humming noise Sunday night of Super Bowl. I did a reset and the unit inside would not turn on fully. We called one hour air the next morning, which used to be Altman air. They were able to get a technician out same day at 2pm. We received a text & email letting us know Israel Gomez was on his way and with a link to track his location, which we liked. Once he showed up I knew we were in good hands because I had seen all the great reviews about him. He was very thorough in explaining everything and was patient in answering all the questions we had. We learned so much about our unit and what the company offers to help maintain the unit running efficiently. We ended up having to replace the blower motor and opted to add the UV light. He showed us how much mold there was in the unit and sold us on the UV light, especially with a baby on the way. He came first thing the next morning with the new part and UV light. It took a few hours to get everything sorted and installed but he had the AC running before 12pm. He showed my husband everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Meanwhile, he was also teaching the younger technician. Overall, great experience with the company getting a technician out to us right away, communicating with us along the way, and sending us a reliable technician. We even became members to continue maintenance on the unit and get discounts on future services. We are just waiting for a call back to schedule our duct cleaning. Thank you Israel!

Yasser did a great job, he is very thorough. He updated ur drainage pipe with a Jones valve and did a thorough cleaning of the drainage pipe and AC unit. I will ask for him when ever we have a service call.

It has been 2 weeks since our HVAC wasn’t working and we called One Hour Air to do the job for us. Yasser did a great job with our HVAC. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. He installed a couple of things: Thermostat, Surge Protector, UV light. This company is very reputable and has all the necessary permits to do the servicing whether it is residential or commercial. Thanks again, Yasser!

This company has a seriously broken dispatch process for service. It's as if nobody internally talks to one another. They promise an afternoon window, then 20 minutes later, and hours before the service window, a tech is trying to get in with nobody home. They pay no attention to which household member calls for service, then frantically call the one who's traveling. Their last cancellation led to flooding and drywall repair. The techs are pretty good, except for the time they took the wrong condenser off the roof by crane, then filled the house with aerosol refrigerant. To their credit, they brought the crane back and reinstalled the one they mistakenly removed. Please recommend an alternative service provider.

I’ve used One Hour Air for the last couple of years, and while I’ve appreciated their responsiveness and flexibility in scheduling, my recent experience has left me feeling uncertain about the consistency and reliability of their service recommendations.

Just over a week ago, I had routine maintenance performed on my AC unit. Everything was supposedly in good working order. I then left for vacation, and when I returned, I discovered that the system had started dripping water. Thankfully, the safety pan caught the water and shut the system off before it could cause any damage.

I called One Hour Air and they sent someone out the same day, which I appreciated. They did not charge for the estimate, which was a nice gesture. However, the technician’s recommendations were surprising and quite drastic—either replace the entire unit for around $13,000 or replace the coil inside the air handler for just under $3,000, with the caveat that it might take one to two months to get the part.

This was a stark contrast to what I was told just days earlier during routine maintenance. No issues were mentioned then, and now I’m suddenly looking at a major repair or full system replacement. It’s also frustrating that the recommendations and assessments seem to vary greatly depending on which technician you get, which makes it hard to know what to trust.

To add to my concern, when I opened the front panel to inspect the unit myself, I noticed that some screws were missing—something that doesn’t inspire confidence about the quality of the recent maintenance work.

Given all this, I’ve reached out for second opinions and will update this review as I learn more. It’s always concerning when a home that’s only eight years old is suddenly being flagged for such expensive replacements shortly after a “clean bill of health” from a maintenance visit. I just want honest, consistent information to make informed decisions, and unfortunately, I haven’t felt that with One hour air.

The technician, Yasser Bendana, was extremely knowledgeable and performed his repairs methodically and neatly. He was very personable, honest and informative and represents his company well. I signed up for twice a year maintenance because of the expert delivery of service. I will recommend him to friends and family for future AC needs!

We had A great service by this company today, had 2 pleasant, efficient & professional guys to perform service for our 2 units & install new Thermostats. Kameron & Xvsdiar worked together & performed the work in good time. They gave us recommendations re upcoming repairs we might have to adjust our systems in future. Kameron was patient & extremely helpful on helping getting the app & mounting thermostats on I Phone. Recommend this company as they really respond promptly to calls & employees are well trained.
