John the owner of Onyx Heating and Air in Jacksonville Florida iis great. He swapped out our 4 ton unit in Jacksonville beach Florida in a few hours.

He was extremely knowledgeable in HVAC & Ductwork saving a ton of money in the long run. If you live in Jacksonville, orangepark, middleburg or the Jacksonville, Atlantic or Pontevedra beaches area, Onyx Heating & Air conditioning is a trusted asset to have.

One time a simple solenoid went out and instead of lying and telling me I had major issues, John simply charged me for the service call and the solenoid. Exactly like a person with integrity would do.

Unfortunately in the HVAC industry many technicians and companies are very dishonest and take advantage of you, knowing you are not willing or able to get in the attic to verify what they are saying. Or knowing the difference between a bad solenoid or bad compressor.

That’s why finding John was such a blessing for our family. He’s even coming back out to swap out the other 4 ton unit upstairs after Christmas.

My a/c stopped cooling this sunday afternoon so i call Onyx Heating and Air, John made it out to my house in less than 30 mins on a holiday weekend, He was very knowledgeable and his cost were very reasonable. 100% will be using Onyx Heating and Air for all of my A/C needs in the future

Easy to schedule your appointment someone reaches out quickly .showed up when he said he would,looks you in the eyes when he talks to you ,tells you what is wrong after diagnosis,sets a price ,holds his price. shakes your hand and tells you thank you for the work and down the road he goes.what more could you ask for from a company.

Even though a new unit will be needed, my tech was extremely helpful and polite during the visit. My AC went the day before the holiday and I was still able to get someone to come out and check things out. When it was discovered that a new unit would be needed, he told me where I could get a window unit on sale to get some relief from the 90+ temps inside the house. Fantastic service and I highly recommend!

We recently had a new air conditioner installed at our preschool center, and the service was outstanding! Nicolas did an incredible job—he was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. He even worked at night to make sure the service would not interrupt the preschool's daily operation! He made sure the installation was done efficiently and safely, which is so important in a childcare setting. We just closed on the house and the ac stopped. Called onyx and they came out on a weekend to diagnose the problem. The compressor failed had to wait for parts warehouse to open on Monday they went and got the compressor before they got warranty approval so there would not be any delays. Great job by Nick our technician. He installed the part and followed up to make sure everything was working fine. Thanks again.
