My A/C finally gave up the fight after 25 years. It was time to replace the unit. That’s an expense no one wants to face. However, Onyx came out to save me…..both from sleepless nights in the heat, and from the high prices of their competitors! The job was done quickly and professionally! I could not be more satisfied with the experience I had with Onyx Heating and Air. Thank you, guys!!

They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They diagnose and explained everything to me in detail, which is plus for me. Over all my experience was great and I definitely will recommend them for any AC job.

Cant express enough how friendly and professional they are. They replaced the entire downstairs unit and I showed them the upstairs unit fan not work capacitor was replaced couple days prior by another tech and he took old fan from the unit that was replaced and installed on outside upstairs and fan which now works. On time, easy to talk to and be around. They answered every question I had without hesitation. Experience was amazing and I definitely recommend them for any AC job.

The owner of the business Billy came out and repaired my broken AC unit, when another ac company failed to come out. He repaired my system quickly during one of the hottest days of the summer. He answered questions I had and was very polite.

I called at 730 in the evening needing someone to come out to repair my ac i knew it was going to be difficult to find a company to do so on such a short notice and late in the evening.. i was desperate as it was 90 in the house and i have small children and MR. BILLY came in an instant arrived within 20 mins from hanging up left his family and rescued ours.. he was very professional very polite and quick too.. i will be doing business with them again if needed.. Mr. Billy had our air up and running that same evening.. i would highly recommend this company..

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I very highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs! The other company that had put in my new AC unit, not only did not do things by the book, they would not even return my calls when the system no longer worked, less than 6 months later! They know I am disabled and retired. I was desperate! A good friend gave me Brian’s number. I called him on a Friday evening. He came right away, corrected everything, and got my system up and running even better than before! I am so very grateful. Thank you again!

Amazing service! I was not expecting an appointment same day, let alone not being charged as an emergency. Very professional and kind. Completely willing to answer all my inexperienced questions while being patient. On top of all of that he was still willing to work in the rain. Quality service Billy! Highly recommended.

This company and Owner Billy Schwallenberg are experts on air conditioning in Florida! I called Billy for a third opinion, after about 6 years of leaking Freon into my home. I did not know how dangerous Freon leaks are. Do you? Google it.
He found so many things wrong that my former AC person did.
Like not having compatible air handler and compressor, not to mention I was sold a 13 seer instead of a 14 seer, which by contract I was sold.
Needless to say because of Billy I am now getting 2 new Goodman Air conditioning systems at no charge. I believe Billy is trust worthy and has the knowledge to protect you. He will do the right thing for you, not his wallet. He has made no money except a service call for me.
The best AC man I have known in my life time and I'm 57 years old.

I give 10 + stars all the way around! The tech did right by me. Didn't over sell me like some places will. I called because my AC wasn't working and he was here within 20 minutes. When other AC companies wouldn't come until Friday it was Wednesday. So if you are looking to see if this is the right choice look no more!!

Billy was awesome. First the appointment block wasnt a crazy 4-5 time frame and and showed up towards the beginning of the time block. Came and in a recapped him of the issue and he went right to work. Very thorough and even tho he saw that my ac was still cold he was still willing to check things out as i wanted cause the flow wasnt as strong as i knew it to be. Lastly not only did he find the issue with my air flow strength he also told me the best way to fix it as well as a less expensive fix, and not try to sell me on some crazy upgrade. Worth the consultation fee ,Definitely be calling if i have anymore issues going foward and will send people his way.
