Be aware of hidden last-minute charges.

We were quoted a price for installation of a toilet at our condo. When they arrived for the installation (3 hours late, after we had to scramble to because they changed the installation time at the last minute), we were told they would have to charge us an added $108 condo fee. When I called up to complain that changing the price at the last minute was an unfair business practice, they tried to claim they just found out today we were in a condo. This is not true, as we had provided details on our condo a week before installation, which included details on how and where to best enter the condominium.

My family have requested the service of KP plumbing in two occasions. We have received a great service. Both times the same expert has showed up, his name is Mario. Supper professional very respectful always want to help. Great experties and knowledge.

They knew that my tub was leaking into my kitchen when I called. I paid a ,,$65 service we call. When they looked at my tub they said there was nothing they could do because the pipes were not exposed... It doesn't make sense on so many levels. Why didn't they tell me that the pipes needed to be exposed to find the leak? And they refused to return my $65 service call.

Horrible service with customer service at billing department. I never had such a horrible experience as I had with this lady at Kintex Billing department. She was so rude and ruthless. She didn't have decency to understand customer all she did was talking with such a loud voice non stop as though it was her personnel issue. She really needs to get some customer talking skills. She is totally unfit to be in a position to talk to customers.

Ike was my plumber's name. He was nice to my dogs from the start who can be right up in your business LOL! He worked so hard in such a cramped space to fix a pipe and did not complain. Getting ready to leave it's sprung again and he had to fix it all over again!! He was still kind funny and got the job done! He's the best plumber I've ever had! Denise kosiba

They picked up my service call from Choice warranty on 02-26-2021. We waited for our appointment which was scheduled on 03-09-2021 from 11-3. My tenant who took off from work called the morning of to confirm and they did. KINTEX no showed without even a phone call. I called the office and they couldn't even reach the technician and told me I should be receiving a call back sometime tomorrow. This is unacceptable and not the proper way to conduct business. I just cancelled my service call AND DO NOT RECOOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE IN THE FUTURE. Kintex has contact if they wish to talk about this further. SHAME!

Not professional. Kintex plumber came by to unclog a toilet, sent by First American Home Warranty. He could not use a "snake" to unclog because he did NOT have one and said it would not do any good because there was no visible air vent. He did not think to use a snake (if he had one) down the shower drain or washing machine drain which are all connected with the toilet drain and next to each other.
He walked across street to talk to his office then returned to say for me to call my insurance company to ask for a refund to pay for a plumber, apparently he meant a "real plumber". I called my insurance company to ask they send a real plumber from a real plumbing company. I'm now waiting for the insurance company to reply.

Just had Mario finish our water heater. He is the best. He always comes out is very professional. Straight to the point and wastes no time getting it done. We always call kintex for our plumbing. Really good group of people.

Choice Home Warranty sent to diagnose a broken 16 yr old kitchen faucet., which had been working fine until the handle came off.
Without any discussion, Kintex diagnosed it was improperly installed and had improper material, whatever that means and, consequently, Choice did not want to cover the claim based on this diagnosis. No good!

THIS GUY DESERVES A RAISE! I had to have my toilet repaired. The plumber, Mike took the time to telephone me to let me know that he was 15 minutes away. I really appreciated this. When he arrived he was friendly, professional, competent, and very knowledgeable. He fixed my toilet within a few minutes and then explained to me what was wrong with it. Meanwhile, I was busy trying to repair a lock on my front screen door. He went to his truck to find me a screw and screwed it in for me!!!!THIS GUY DESERVES A RAISE!

The two negative reviews here are not fair and in my opinion do not represent the company at all. People love to complain but rarely do they post to call out good service. Kintex has been consistently good and honest in their dealings with me. Once there was a lack of communication with a water heater replacement but they ended up resolving the situation. It's when there is a problem that a company shows its worth and Kintex did a great job in this situation.

Mario came out to my home and did our full house repipe. He was professional and efficient. Thank you so much Kintex! It’s cold and now we have hot water that flows fluently! Great service great people.

Kintex responded via my home warranty. Daniel was great. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a very timely manner. He cleaned up the area and patched the hole in the wall. I would highly recommend Daniel and Kintex Plumbing to everyone.

I must say. This company did a sufficient job on my home. The ladies in the office were really nice with exceptional customer service. The plumber fixed our problem in no time. Really great work highly recommended.

I do not recommend calling this company if you live in a DiVosta a two-story townhouse!
I used to hire Kintex for all of my plumbing problems, and even paid extra a few times for what my warranty didn’t cover. Now they are claiming that my hot water heater is not up to code because of where it’s located, but they never bothered to call Palm Beach Gardens building code department to back up their false claim. The building department told me there is nothing wrong, it is in code, and there is no place to relocate the hot water heater. They even requested that Kintex call them directly to teach them about building code on older homes. Kintex never did. They company has worked on my hot water heater in the past and knew exactly where it was located before they came out to waste my time. I haven’t had hot water for 7 days and had to hire a new plumber. The new plumber confirmed what the building department said, and laughed at the claim that Kintex made. Don’t waste your time!

Kintex did not perform any services. We had a clog in our pipes and they were not able to fix it. They did not bring the right equipment to access the issue or fix it. We Paid $150 for nothing and the man was her less than 10 minutes. Their Customer Service was also not very friendly. We do not recommend this company.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We are very disappointed with the performance of this company. They are the only company that I have dealt with under my home warranty that requires payment BEFORE arriving at your home. I felt this to be very suspicious but accepted it because we were in a pinch and without hot water. After the technician's arrival he spent more time on the phone with somebody than looking at the hot water heater. They determined that the cause of the failure to be due to faulty installation which would have had to happen over 8 years ago. Due to their determination that the installation was wrong, my home warranty company will not cover it. The technician that came out also damaged the water valve during the "inspection" and as a result water is leaking all over my home. The technician left my home advising that they would be ordering the necessary part to complete the repair and I only found out two days later (going on a week without hot water) that they would not complete the repair. I would NEVER use this company due to lack of knowledge, lack of customer service and due to damage that they caused during the "inspection and diagnosis" portion of the visit. And on top of all of this they also took my home warranty deductible, refusing to apply it to any service or to return it.

UPDATE: Turns out the water heater is still under warranty. A call to Whirlpool warranty department and they sent over a checklist. My husband and I went though the check list on the unit and it turned out to just be a loose wire. All fixed now even though this company said it was a venting issue.

Wow. Incredibly unprofessional, unhelpful, unreasonable and unreliable. I had them replace a water heater for me and it was a nightmare of an experience. They cancelled appointments they set. Very poor communication with the customer, I had to call them and practically beg them to come out and replace my water heater. When I asked them for a quote or a bill, they refuse to provide one. When I spoke to Dora from their billing department, she berated me and scolded me for having the “nerve” to request an estimate or a bill. After repeatedly asking her for a simple bill and/or an estimate Dora completely lost her cool and scolded me like a child. Wow, very bad experience.

Making an appointment was easy, I received a call 30 mins before the tech arrived. Jose friendly, professional, and got the job done of removing the clog in my bathroom sink. He even gave me tips on how to prevent the stoppage in the future and what products I shouldn't use like drano. Would definitely use Kintex in the future but hopefully I wont need them again.

In fairness, the plumber was friendly albeit incompetent. He removed the disposal (not needed) and ended up damaging it. The clog wasn't cleared and he left a mess. Definitely would stay away from Kintex. I ended up having to call Roto Rooter who resolved the issue in less than an hour
