We had a backup. Another plumber came out first. That plumber charged us $749 for a snake and camera. He said that we had a break and needed to replace the pipes. He refused to give us a copy of the video or a written estimate. We called Terry's for a second opinion. He charged us $400 for the same work (the backup had already reoccured) but also gave is a copy of the video and a written estimate. He didn't find a break, which was supported by the video. He also recommended replacing the pipes, though. Backup has not reoccurred.

Terry's Plumbing might very well be the best plumbing company in South Florida. I've used them three times now and they never disappoint. First, they're on time - usually the same day you call. Second, the crew is fast, courteous, and thorough. And third, their prices are honest and fair.
Master Plumber Steven, who carries the Encyclopedia of Plumbing around in his head, and his helper Mark spent the better part of 5/29/19 at my house replacing worn-out pipes in my laundry room. It was a complicated and tedious job, but this Dynamic Duo accomplished it with ease, and they actually left the place cleaner than when they started. Plus they were nice to my dog!
So call Terry's. You'll be glad you did.

My hot water tankless system wasn’t working in my apartment and I called Terrys Plumbing this morning , first time, and within 45 minutes they’re here and made an assessment.
The service man, Alex ,did a wonderful job, as he went and got the new hot water heater and installed it and was done promptly.

The technician was prompt, friendly and efficient resulting in a great value for our project. I will definitely use Terry's for all future plumbing needs. This is the first time I have used Terry's. When I called the office the phone was answered immediately. Priscilla listened carefully to my description of the issue (needed to replace a kitchen faucet) and suggested that I send pictures of the issue and the type of faucet I wanted to make sure I had everything ready for the technician. She also suggested that I visit Noland's Plumbing supply to purchase a replacement faucet rather than a big box DIY store. This resulted in purchasing a much higher quality faucet for almost the same price. The technician did a great job. I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of my experience with Terry's Plumbing. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them for all future projects.

Received great same-day service from Michael within an hour of my call! He assessed the problem and was very knowledgeable. The drain stoppage and backup into my kitchen sink was cleared in no time. If you're looking for good work done at reasonable prices, call Terry's Plumbing. I plan on using them again for any future plumbing needs.

EXPENSIVE! I was charged 575$ to change elements in side my toilet tank and the valve on the outside. It was on a Saturday which they charge time and a half which is over 200$ an hour and I was told how much time and a half was at the end. He came checked the toilet said it'd be 350$ he left to pick up the parts he said was needed came back fixed it, then it was still making a flushing sound that wasn't normal so he checked it again and realized he needed to change the flapper and left back to the store came back and put the part in, fixed. Gave me my total once again and said 575$. I said whoa why did it go up 255$ after just installing that plastic flap he said because it through him into a second hr and it's over 200$ for time and a half. I'm a single woman and honestly feel taken advantage of. Everyone I've told has said OMG changing those parts in the toilet tank and a valve is quick and easy and those parts a inexpensive how could they charge you practically 600$!!! And they all ask what company is this that's terrible? They fixed my toilet but will not be using them again and I'm telling everyone in my apartment complex to go elsewhere for plumbing issues. Yes it was Saturday so time and a half but that's just inconsiderate and not trust worthy.

Update... Company reached out to me after the review and decided to refund me 200$
From the 575$ for the second hour put in being that the tech had to go back and fix what he should've fixed in the beginning.

I have been using Terry's plumbing since May. My most recent visit inspired me to write this review.
Monday I called Terry's to have a new shower installed. I had researched what would be required, and thought there was only one part of the job that my handyman could not do, involving what they call "sweating the pipes". Of course, the new shower required much more skill and experience than I thought!
I asked for an estimate up front for both the shower and to diagnose and repair a slightly leaky toilet.
I was very happy with Coulton and Casey. They gave me a free estimate in my home and a package price that was more reasonable than pricing the toilet and the shower separately. They did the work that day. Casey, who was new to me, is a master plumber. He is very professional, and funny, and Colton was his usual helpful and friendly self. I would definitely recommend Terry's Plumbing to my friends and my neighbors.

I have used Terry's plumbing multiple times over the 7 years that I've lived at my current home and have never had an issue prior. This time my wife was at home to take care of the business. I won't go into detail about the issue that arose because I was not there and did not speak to the plumber directly nor did I speak to the person on the phone to schedule this service, but we were not able to come to an agreement to obtain their services for this visit. The service needed was a garbage disposal installation. We knew the garbage disposal wasn't working so the two options were either repair or replacement, I had already attempted to reset the disposal as I've done before with success but this time it didn't work. That being said, I thought that this would be a simple task. Terry's plumbing called us the next day to ask how the service was and my wife expressed her dissatisfaction. They sent the plumber back to our home the following day to make it right. This time I spoke to the plumber. We were then able to come to an agreement and the installation was completed. This took about 15 minutes, as I expected it would because it was a simple job that I felt was basically a 1 hour service call. This would have been a 5 star if the first call out was handled the same way. I can't speak for everybody, but as a customer I have no problem paying a fair price for someone performing a service I could have done myself, because it frees up my time. I don't think this exchange should be unfair to the business or to myself as the customer. I only wish that contractors/service workers wouldn't try to take advantage of customers assumed ignorance. I will use Terry's again because of how they made this right.

Now, when you need service really fast like in an emergency, I was so lucky to have Casey from Terrys plumbing come to my apartment and fix my water leak. He installed the water heater in the morning and left and then all of a sudden I had an emergency with my bathroom sink with a water leak underneath my bathroom sink so he took the time to go back out to shop for my faucet and came back the same day to install a new faucet and to fix my leak. He’s very dependable. He knows his craft and the staff is outstanding very friendly and personable. I will be calling him again when I need more plumbing! Again Casey thank you so much for everything. I really appreciate it.

Terry's Plumbing came to our house right away for water leak in front yard. Terry determined the leak was a city problem and he call the city to explain what was going on. The city fixed the leak by the end of the day.

Definitely recommend for any of your plumbing or installing needs! They put a brand new faucet in my kitchen at a great price! The technician was great, efficient and met all my expectations. Angela who answers the phone is very polite and makes sure she answers any questions you have! Very sweet. Overall great experience with this company. Will use again in the future.

Impressive company. I was having issues with my water having an odor. A plumber was sent out that day to investigate. It was noted that my hot water tank was in a dire condition. I live in a manufactured home and my gentleman plumber helped me find the model for installation. He came the next day after the tank was delivered (weather prohibited installation on day of delivery, in which he was prepared to install). It was a flawless experience. Mark was my plumber. He was so very pleasant, professional, and answered all my questions, (I had plenty). Thank you Terry’s plumbing and Mark for your assistance and uneventful installation of my hot water tank.

Don't bother getting an estimate from these people. Once the work is done they'll upcharge you under false pretenses.

Their work is shoddy, more of a shot in the dark than a studied plan. Questions are met with attitude rather than information.

Also, watch out for subcontractors.

Won't be using this company again.

I had a slow drain in the toilet. I read the reviews of this company and decided to choose them despite all the warnings in the bad reviews. Kacey came over on the same day. He said there could be a blockage in the drain line. I told him our maintenance guy said there used to be roots in the pipe, what can he do if that's the case. He said he has a blade that can be installed on the snake to cut the roots off. To get on the roof and run a snake will cost $375. We agreed to have him run the snake. During the first snake run, we saw roots got out of the drain line with the snake. We ran the snake again and no more roots came out. At this point the blockage was gone. A few hours after he left, the blockage came back again. Then I remember we didn't use the blades at all. Had we used the blades, the blockage shouldn't come back so quickly. I called them back the next day, explained the situation, and asked if they can come back to run it again with the blades to cut off more roots. Kacey said he'll charge me another $375 for that. Kacey did mention there's no warranty for this kind of job. However if he did everything he said, our drain line shouldn't be blocked again after a few hours. On the phone, he declined he mentioned the root cutting blades. So I won't recommend this company for your job unless it's something urgent since they work "24/7" which I couldn't verify.

I've been without plumbing in my kitchen for a month after a nightmare kitchen remodel with Lowe's. Barry came out same day and got me hooked back up in no time for a reasonable price. He was very nice and did great work. Highly recommend.

We had a toilet backing up into the tub last night, called Terrys Plumbing and they came out really fast, wasted no time and cleared the line form the roof. We have old cast iron pipes and Terrys suggested a camera inspection of the line to see the condition. Scheduled the camera inspection for the next morning. Turns out the cast iron is corroded, heavy build up, and root intrusion. They gave me an AWESOME price to tunnel and replace all the cast iron with new PVC. Also financing is available thru HSF.. We will call Terrys Plumbing again.

Mark at Terry’s Plumbing was excellent! He installed a new kitchen sink faucet and new shower head, diverter and mixer. This included replacing 53 year old pipes and valves. He removed all unnecessary pipes and hoses leaving every thing neat, clean and orderly! He arrived on time and left the work areas clean! We would like to also give a 5 star rating to the office staff at Terry’s Plumber. We highly recommend Terry’s Plumbing and Mark!
