Very professional, handled everything with great care. Cleaned the tree’s on the property and they look great!

I wish they were more careful when doing lawn work and using the leaf blowers. Every time they come to my apartment complex, my car ends up covered in dust and debris because they blow everything toward the parking area instead of away from it.
From a recent experience, they were also working together with a gutter company cutting trees, and I saw them cutting very close to parked cars where damage could easily occur. Unfortunately, my car was one of the ones affected. It was scratched all over, and no one wants to take responsibility. I’m really disappointed with the lack of care and professionalism. I hope they start being more considerate when working around residents’ vehicles. -
I had a few spots in the yard that cinch bugs had killed the grass. Since True Green treats for that, that took complete ownership and came out to place turf plugs in the affected areas. They our within days of my call. No push back, very professional, very reliable. I am impressed with how they responded. Thank you True Green!

So far so good. Coming out and spraying. Lawn died before hiring them due to chinch bugs. Now hoping it will come back to life. Time will tell.

Five stars! The technician was very polite and respectful. But I do wish you would have all of them wear good masks. They need to be able to still breathe in them as well thank you.

Jason R is the best tech at Tru Green
Every time he services my lawn, I know I get a well covered treatment. He takes his time and doesn’t rush. -
Extrmely pleased with TruGreen specialist Mr. Anthony Buchanan,. This is the first time that someone takes notice of all conditions of my lawn and advises how to prevent future problems like changing lawn cutting patterns, adjust watering, because grass shows water deficiency and advised about a broken sprinkler head and explaining the importance to keep the irrigation system in top shape.
Mr. Buchanan is highly professional and truly committed in helping customers keep a healthy lawn. -
I'm pretty patient. This is close to the worst service I've ever received. I've been with them since October 2018 (~4 months from today), and each time they were supposed to come out to perform the TruHealth service, something has gone wrong. Furthermore, every time I call to request to get the problems fixed, their management is very poor to respond.
For example, yesterday the technician came out to perform the routine service (spray for weeds, etc.), but per my cameras only performed 1/4 of the job. Half of the front yard was sprayed. They never entered the back yard. I called and was advised that I was on record for only receiving 1/2 yard service. WHY would anyone only get half of their yard treated? I contacted the local office, and the kind woman on the phone apologized for the inconvenience and stated my yard was incorrectly documented in their system - and that she was messaging the technician to come back out to finish the whole yard by the end of the day. To my (lack of) surprise, they never showed up and sent me an invoice at 6:45 pm - basically acknowledging that contrary to my concerns, that in their mind - the job was finished. This 1/2 yard business further makes zero sense because they were hired to put lawn plugs in my back yard - and had treated those the month prior. It's a flaky service - they basically show up and put a bill on your front door while doing minimal work.
In Summary:
Pros: mobile app is nice, alerts when they're (supposed) to show up; billing is pretty straight forward
Cons: poor service, untrustworthy (cannot rely on them to get the job done without adult supervision).
Recommendation: maybe good to kill off lawn pests, but definitely would not recommend for recurring lawn maintenance. Find someone else for your wallet's sake! Maybe this is just a reflection of this local Oldsmar, FL office, but a poor experience with TruGreen in my opinion. -
I’m very impressed with the level of care and time spent protecting my home. The personal care with every customer service person I spoke with is golden and so rare in this day and age. Bravo TruGreen and bravo to your customer service commitment.

I “tried” using their services for about three years. They only have a few qualified specialists so keeping my lawn in good shape was impossible. Last year a 1/3 of my front lawn was lost to Chinch Bugs and had to be replaced at a cost of $600. They would not reimburse me but gave me another year of service for free. This year I got chinch bugs again and begged them to take care of it before I lost the lawn for a second year in a row. They refused to send a qualified technician to diagnose and kept blaming me for improper watering. I kept telling them that the rest of the lawn was fine so it couldn’t be due to a watering issue. The “new” customer service agent (Richard) would rather be right than president and was unwilling to help. I called another service and they sent someone out that got on their knees and in less than a minute had a live chinch bug in his hand. Obviously I canceled my “free” service and now my lawn is again in good shape with the new service. Pretty bad when people with free service don’t want them treating my lawn any more.

I have used them twice in the past. My lawn has steadily declined since I brought them back after they bought out my lawn guy. I started to seriously doubt what they were or weren't spraying on my lawn and what the technician was actually doing when he showed up. The customer service and back office stuff was actually very good but they couldn't correct anything even with reassurances from various supervisors. I would steer clear.

Technician only sprayed the front yard. Please send out another technician asap, I've had issues with the back yard months ago.My lawn is not being monitored properly. I have video footage, he was only here about 5 minutes. I would like my lawn treated PLEASE.

Julie is the best TruGreen rep I've ever had, trust her to explain what and why she does the work on my lawn.

Aside from A few technicians who have tried to make things right, Trugreen has been a nightmare to deal with. After having our grass fried by one of the technicians, our grass has yet to recover. It’s been about three months and our grass has more weeds, more insects, and more mold than we did before. The manager tried to make it right by adding plugs where the grass would not regrow, but to this day is still not looking back to normal. Additionally, we’ve had a bush randomly die, and each time a technician came out they tried to blame it on us, not watering the lawn or our irrigation being clogged. It has done nothing but rain these last few weeks and our irrigation technician has verified There are no issues with our drip lines. Also, before the Technician even looked at the bush, he came up with a conclusion that it was something that we were doing as homeowners. I asked him to at least take a look at what we’re talking about before he makes the conclusion and writes it all off. i’ve had to call three different times and each time a manager was supposed to call me but to this day, I have not spoken to a manager about the shrub. It’s very disappointing when one or two technicians really care for their job and what they do, but the management does not seem to want to rectify the issues we call and complain about. All I want is a green lawn, which I think is what Trugreen is supposed to provide. However, with all of the complaints we’ve had to make over the last three months alone, I feel like it is never going to get fixed. our lawn was probably better off before getting Trugreen since we’ve had grass get fried and had more mold and bug issues since contracting with them. So disappointing.

Deontae did a great job with aerating our yard. He told us about the service, and made sure the dog was safe inside.

Bought tree and shrub service since we just moved into a new home and wanted to maintain our beautiful foliage. Tree in our front yard and shrubs starting dying but it was not mentioned or addressed until WE brought it to their attention. They said it was overwatering: doubtful since our irrigation system is at the same setting as it’s always been and there were never dying shrubs or dying tree. Don’t believe we overwatered because we have been in a drought and are 15” less than normal rainfall totals. Person who said it was overwatered came out early in the morning just after sprinklers ran; of course it’s wet. Seems like they offer convenient excuses but are not proactive and simply add fertilizer and leave. They have called and left messages regarding my complaint but always leave a general office number and that person is never there when we return the call.
Don’t know what, if anything they intend to do but it’s doubtful they will do anything. Would NOT use them again.
