Thorough, detail oriented, solutions oriented, organized, friendly and reasonably priced. It's hard to get all of those qualities out of a Tradesman anymore. But Chad and his guys are all of that.

Josh and Kenny were AMAZING and will be the only technicians we use moving forward. This company is a 1000/10 and I will be recommending them to all my family and friends!

I called in the morning, they were able to come out THE SAME DAY! They were incredibly communicative with timing and even were able to come early both times. When they came we explained we were looking for a second opinion on a possible leak. They were very thorough in their evaluation, and came back and explained to us the exact problem and quoted us LESS THAN HALF of what the other company quoted us. They even took the time to go through our AC warranty for the part needed and saved us thousands! They then went the extra mile to find the part needed fast and installed it NEXT DAY!

The whole processes was so easy and so fast. Josh and Kenny listened to us, explained the issue and even showed us the broken part once they removed it. They also swept after their work was done. Being a first time home owner, I am SO SO SO relieved we found this company and we will be life time costumers.

Very professional and knowledgeable in their field of work. Showed up as scheduled. They were very honest and upfront with the condition of our ac unit and didn’t try to get me to replace something that didn’t need it yet. I highly recommend this company for all your a/c needs!

Exceptional AC company. Anthony and Vidal are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Anthony came out for an AC emergency due to leak in our ceiling from our AC. He diagnosed the problem right away and saved us thousands of dollars. Another company did not identify the AC problem correctly and it would have been a nightmare.
Anthony and Vidal came back in a couple days to follow up and make sure everything was okay. Top notch guys! This is the only AC company we will be using moving forward.

Julie was my initial contact and was very pleasant to hear a British voice taking my call and coordinating my service call. She was very responsive and kind to chat with. Vidor/Vidal was the service technician who came to my location within 30 minutes of my initial call. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to assess my AC issues. Chad is a very professional experienced AC technician. He helped to quickly identify and locate the problem and fixed my AC system within 48 hours. Amazing customer service by Suzie and tech service by Vidal. They were both very professional and pleasant. Vidal was very experienced and knowledgeable. I appreciate how thorough he was and explained everything to me..he was able to come out to my home within an hour and did a wonderful job at a very reasonable rate. After having our longstanding HVAC company come out and take a look at what we thought was a leak in our unit (mind you 3 months after replacing a component with them), only to get hit with exorbitant quotes with minimal reason or explanation. We were recommended to I know A Guy by a friend who spoke very highly of this outfit. Upon calling, techs were dispatched within 24 hours. Vidal and Anthony were two of the most professional and polite service techs I have come across. They very quickly ran through diagnostics, while explaining it step by step so that I could follow along. When it was all said and done, it was a much smaller issue than we were originally quoted. We will definitely be using I Know A Guy moving forward. They are a bright spot in a tough Tampa market for trustworthy residential subcontractors.

I should have known it was going to be an amazing experience when I received a text with a picture of a technician that I had not met before for my safety. What a thoughtful addition I am impressed. This is my new favorite AC company.

Chad is a different kind of business owner from the one’s that I have been finding of late.
. He is truly interested in knowing the most about his trade as well as treating his clients as quickly and respectfully as possible ..…………….and most importantly as cost effectively as possible!
I am a contractor myself and very often butt heads with other contractors. Chad is always available to answer questions and quickly gets to my rental properties when needed.
So when I needed a whole new AC system for my own house Chad was my “go to guy”. He absolutely did not disappoint!
I very rarely write reviews but Chad and company is like working with my own family and that is virtually impossible to find.

Since this was written he also repaired an AC unit in a rental home I own. Again, very quickly and professionally!

Chad did an excellent job communicating what he felt the issue with the system was and came back to my house 3 time to ensure work was successful. Great person and great price for his service. Gladly recommend his company.

Everything was great with these guys. AC broke in 90 degree weather and they were out in an hour. Technician diagnosed it rather quickly and had the motor for my 17 year old compressor on the truck. Had it fixed in no time and for a good price. First time I've used them but I trust in them now and will be using them going forward. Honestly, I just look for someone fair and reputable for these types of things, but the tech was awesome, friendly and responsive as well. Do it!

He is a local guy who has been in the industry for 2 decades- thanks to his expertise, my house with two babies is “blowing cold” on the same day he came out!

These men were professional and knowledgeable. I felt at ease while they were fixing my ac. Another company showed up here twice, charged me for diagnosing and putting in the wrong parts and left while it was still broken. These guys fixed my ac on the first visit. I trust this company and will be doing work with them in the future.

Our older house has been well serviced and updated by Chad and his well trained technicians. They updated our ducts to a modern design that made the AC and heat-pump work much better. And He programmed the thermostat so it would function more efficiently. Excellent work.
