Do not use this company for residential work. Even if you have debilitating electrical problems, they will not put you on the schedule for several months. Existing customer for years doesn't matter. Don't bother calling them.

If I could leave no star at all at I would, there work is slobby !!!Worst Company all around don’t make the mistake of calling them you will be sorry you did!!Poor workman ship as well and there prices are too high!

I agree with reviewers. We used them for a remodel. They were rude and even told my wife there was no such thing as brown GFI's for our island cabinets. Their lighting "expert" couldn't find any LED undercabinet lighting for our kitchen and said it was too new technology. Funny, they had them on Amazon, Home Depot and Lowes.

Called S&S Electric early Nov. to have a chandelier hung. It took 2wks.to get an appointment and give me an estimate on the job, $90.00 for that. Two weeks more to have someone come out to do it(now Dec.4th). Two men came, checked out the chandelier, decided at that point they could not put two pieces together to hang it(mind you, it had already been hanging in another house), looked at the outlet to change that out(to say they had done something) and then could not do that! And then had the nerve to charge me for doing basically nothing, another $135.00!!! Called a supervisor at S and S Electric to speak with him about the issue and still no call back! This is not acceptable and a hell of a way to do business.
Would not recommend them to anyone and would not trust them back in my house!

This company did the a/c work on my new home in Lakewood Ranch. Like many sub contractors, errors and mistakes (arguably so) are made in any field or business, especially in home building. What is more important is, if and how they resolve it. S & S went above and beyond to make things right from the customer's perspective. They came out and resolved an issue I had with a professional crew. Andre and the two installers were polite and professional. I highly recommend them!

We called them on Saturday to schedule an AC repair job, we had an air handler out. An appointment was set up for the following Thursday. The morning of the appointment day they call to cancel it, as all the crews will be on new construction jobs the rest of the week. Too bad for us, with the AC out for a week.
By the way, they installed the units when the house was built, and had been servicing them for 9 years. They told us that new construction takes priority over service calls. If you need service, don't call them.

I called in regarding a simple electrical issue in several areas of my home. S+S installed all my electrical about 2 years ago. Asked for a simple service call to diagnose. Would not even offer to come out even if I paid. They said they just install on new builds. So after the install a one year warranty and forget. Poor customer service from a company that barely stands behind there product.

Dont use them unless you have no other choice. Their prices are ridiculous. If you are unfortunate enough to have had them install your system start saving your money up now so you are prepared for stupid high costs. I paid $270 for one hour of labor. Luckily the part was covered under warranty so I didnt have to pay for that also. Please avoid them at all costs unless you are required to use these crooks.

As the contractor who installed the air-conditioner for our home by MI home builders, we reached out to S&S to fix our unit problem. Technician came out on June 2 , diagnosed , charge us, said they will order parts and return to fix problem. 2 weeks later called, we were told they will not take the job , I pleaded with them to help us as they are the original installers and we will prefer if they help us. They agreed told us our part order will take a month and will come fix . Called them back July 9th and were told they will not take our job, they are too busy working on new installations and also they take on labour warranties and not part warranty. Read the reviews on Google and was not surprised this is their work ethics.

Grandma has issues with her AC, this company came out and made it right! They communicated the issues and spent to the time to ensure the issue had been for sure been resolved. -Thank you and your team and I appreciate the transparency you gave us! 😊

all they kept saying is we need a credit card to charge $90 before we will come out to tell you how much it will cost you to fix what you are asking us to look at. It was simply to change a dryer 3-prong to a 4 prong. I did not object to the $90 but I did object to the way that the lady was so unprofessional about it and was determined to say that our house did not exist on the map. by the way I got their phone number off the label they put on the main panel of the home when they were the initial new construction electrician at the house. Don't use them because I don't think they would treat you fair by the reading of most of these reviews and in my brief conversation with them on the phone. They need the $90 that's all they seem to want up front and they say they will give you the credit if you decide to do the work with them. Well if they're the highest bidder then why would you do that work with them, unless they think you're not going to have someone else bid it as well. Seems like a scam going on everyone wants upfront money and then they'll give you a credit if you use them, but you're not going to use the most expensive one you're going to use the one you feel most comfortable with, so you lose your money with no matter how you work this with an electrical company. Sad profession to be in, seems they are relying to scam customers rather than to service customers. Of course that's just my opinion.

These guys went above and beyond!
Usually, when you are dealing with technicians, or people that are in the service industry, it definitely feels like a money or a time suck, but with these guys they saved me both!
I called after hours and someone texted me and let me know that they’d be there in the morning early.
They also offered to send me a video to see if I could rectify the issue for myself.
It was a long shot, but I followed all the steps and then voila!
My AC kicked back on!
I can honestly say that these folks at S&S are definitely making money because let’s face it it’s Florida and it’s summertime…news flash they probably don’t NEED your money.
Not only did they help me fix my system, but they finished up by giving me tips on how to maintain it for years to come.
I HIGHLY recommend S&S for all of your HVAC needs.
Their customer service is top notch, and levels above the rest!

OK, overpriced and dishonest. These people messed up an installation when working with the home builders. So the installation was their fault and they agreed to this. At least they were honest about that however, they tried to charge me another visit fee while they were already on site and once they saw the error, they backed down off the additional $400 service charge. Now for the great part, their hourly rate is about $200 an hour, and they made it seem like they were doing me a favor by fixing their mistake on the original installment by rolling it into this hourly rate. The coordinator who is clueless is going off notes from the technicians that came. The technicians were OK and I’m not blaming that in my all. My issue is more with the company practices and the coordinator who ended up saying well if you trust this person who gave your second opinion, just go with them. Did not even try to understand or apologize for being so misinformed and unprepared. These guys are criminals and should seriously be addressed with legal action for the negligence in installation and also the price gouging in labor and material.

We called this company on an emergency situation on Tuesday, they gave us as their best time , Thursday. By the way they installed our a/c system. I won't call them never again.

Michael did an amazing job on my system. Did it promptly and solved my problem. I would recommend him .

Recently had 3Js Cooling come out and look at my system that was freezing up at my house. Michael the technician came out and was very professional and was able to diagnose the issue promptly. My coil had gone bad but was still under warranty so I was able to save money by not having to purchase a new one. Would definitely call them again for any of my heating or cooling needs.

Michael is a great HVAC wizard! He has helped us at both our business and our home, as well as the homes of friends and relatives over the past five years. He is honest, trustworthy and has saved us tons of money over the years by diagnosing problems with our existing AC units correctly And fixing them right the first time and not having us waste time and money. he is excellent at his craft, and it is a pleasure working with him.
