Review for United Air Temp – Ongoing Service Failures and Poor Customer Treatment

I’m writing to share a deeply frustrating experience with United Air Temp that began when I scheduled a routine A/C maintenance. My system was working perfectly beforehand, but after their service, things quickly went downhill.

TIMELINE:
First visit: Routine maintenance performed. Within 12 hours, my unit was flooded and shut off completely.

Second visit: Another technician did maintenance. The unit ran for five days, then shut off again. The breaker had tripped, and the condenser wouldn’t run.

Third visit: Technician replaced parts. Upon restart, there was a small explosion and gas leakage from the condenser. I was told the compressor was now damaged, despite earlier claims the unit was in great shape.

I cooperated fully, waited two weeks for a compressor, and scheduled installation for July 15 at 3:30 PM. That day, they canceled due to weather, though it didn’t rain at my location. The appointment was moved to July 16, but canceled again for the same reason. I provided photo evidence showing clear skies at my address, but the manager cited rain 10 minutes away and refused to send the technician.

I’m now scheduled for July 17 and must miss work again, without any assurance the appointment will be honored. I requested to escalate the issue and send a formal complaint with evidence, but was told no emails are allowed and only agents can forward complaints internally.

I feel ignored, dismissed, and disrespected as a paying customer. I’ve had four visits, a gas leak, a blown compressor, and now multiple last-minute cancellations with zero urgency or care.

I urge United Air Temp to take this seriously and escalate to a regional manager or higher. I expect accountability and resolution—not more delays and dismissals.

Love my Goodman A/C. Isaac was my Technician who did my 1 year check up. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. He explained all the steps he would be taking to make sure everything was running properly. He’s young but showed a real interest in his profession. Kiddos for United Air for hiring this conscientious young man.

Pleasant, respectful and very professional technician came to service my AC. He was very careful to watch my animals with me when coming in and out of patio and front door. I was referred by a neighbor when looking for a company that will do AC, water heater AND Dryer vent cleaning inspection/maintenance for HOA requirement. Customer service is amazing and very responsive (even via text messages). Our technician, Edward, arrived early, was very customer focused, knowledgeable about their ongoing service plans but not pushy at all. Highly recommend and am looking to cancel a plan we got with another AC company so we can switch to United Air Temp!

Isac has been here on two separate occasions and we could not be more pleased with his work. His professionalism, knowledge and skills are those of someone who, you would think, had many years of experience. This young man is polite and courteous and is the exact type of employee any company should want to represent them. Again, two separate issues were both resolved and timely. Great job United Air for hiring someone of this caliber.

Young man who performed the service call was amazing. He did everything possible to take care of my problem however it needs Apart not in stock so they’ll return to finish the job. They were here within an hour, he checked through the whole system, found the problem and his ordering the part. Before he left, he took a great deal of time cleaning up everything making sure that all was back in order and ready for his return. So far, it’s a tan I’ll let you know and keep you posted, thank you to United Air Temp.

We recently contacted United Air, and they were able to send a technician out the very same day — which was incredibly helpful. Gabriel arrived promptly, and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was polite, confident, and clearly communicated what tasks he was performing and why, along with his recommendations.

Even though it was late in the day, Gabriel took his time and never rushed through the job. He was thorough, professional, and clearly committed to solving the issue properly. His work ethic and attention to detail really stood out, and it’s rare to see such dedication.

I needed a repair and they sent an estimator. Nothing was done except to look at the device told me to wait another very cold day or two for an estimate by email. Seriously? I expected a leak repair and gas recharge, but the visit was a waste of time for me.

Jeremiah Erwin, a manager at United Air is a true gentleman: honest, competent, timely and knowledgeable. That is something you just don’t see everyday anymore. I would trust him with any job, transaction or problem. We have been customers at United Air Temp for 4 years and he is a true standout amongst the company. Should you be in the market for HVAC, he is the one to ask for.

I’d like to highly recommend Isac, a technician with United Air Temp, for his outstanding professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service. He worked efficiently to repair our system and explained the process every step of the way. Amazing!

Rentzy Victor, is a pleasure to talk with, he was very polite, professional, he listened to my concerns and he is knowledgeable, he explained everything he was going to do and did. I would recommend the company and Victor to any of my colleagues and family.

Great company with excellent customer service. I have a maintenance plan with them so they were able to squeeze me in for my HVAC repair the following day. They fixed my unit on the spot, and were honest about the problem which turned out to be a minor one. I definitely recommend this company!

Isac is so courteous and detail oriented. I used to work in construction, and I would’ve loved to have had employees like him. His mother definitely raised him right! He worked so hard at resolving issues. It truly appreciate his efforts!

United Air Temp is welcome at our house any time. The tech arrived as scheduled, quickly analyzed our situation then set up a revisit for the repair. On the return trip they had us back up and running quickly. They did a repair for me about a year ago and they displayed the same level of care, communication and availability for my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them! Five stars!
