An honest and good AC company ia hard to find and I'm so glad that I found Lisandro and the North Pole AC company from a friend after I posted a recommendations request for a good AC company on my Facebook page. Lisandro worked around my schedule, showed up promptly, and quickly found three issues, some of which were caused by other people who tried to fix my old AC unit in the past! He really worked hard to salvage it and not only got it running efficiently but also at a very fair price. Lisandro not only described the issues in great detail, he also took the time to write them and all the work performed on the receipt. I'm very happy with everything and will be calling for any future AC needs. One other thing I thought was great is Lisandro's positive and upbeat personality! My A/C unit was having trouble keeping the house cool. My wife had previously used North Pole with great results on her house. I gave Lisandro a call. He was honest with me from the beginning and told me he was totally booked today (Friday), but said if a cancelation occurred in his schedule, he'd call me. There is a small AC company in Orlando that is willing to do the right thing and find the true issue of a system without just suggesting to replace the whole unit.
In peak summer season, my AC unit started to take too long to cool the house until eventually it was operating 14+ hours without cooling.
I called a “big name company” to come check the system and identify the issue. They came and refilled the unit as they determined that there was a leak, just for it to leak away 2 weeks later. Their suggested next step was to replace the evaporator coils as they are known to have leaks. However, they couldn’t guarantee that the leak was there, this made me feel uneasy and I decided to look for an alternative.
I called North Pole and Lisandro listened to my problem and proceeded to give me 30+ minutes of his time to explain some of the check I could do on my own and the potential issues. Without looking at the unit, Lisandro gave more interest to finding the issue than the company that wanted to just replace the unit.
Lisandro was able to come a couple of days later and he performed an isolation and pressurization test. This helped us identify where the leak was. And help avoid having to replace the unit.
Lisandro is very knowledgeable and passionate about AC. I am very happy to know that I already have a good contact for any future AC issues.

I had the best experience with Lissandro and wish all service providers would conduct business like he does with his company. Little back story - My AC unit was old and met its demise in early October, since its such a large appliance I decided I would gather some quotes from multiple companies, NorthPole was the ONLY one that offered long warranty period, excellent price, and outstanding service. I knew I made the right choice by going with Lissandro. Lissandro came out to my home on time to provide quote, explained EVERYTHING, documented all aspects of the project, and made the decision process flawless for me. His personable attention to the customer needs are noted immediately once you meet with him. He keeps to his project timeline and delivers as promised. He goes above in beyond in his work and you can psychically see that when him and his team works at your property.

The project contract details everything from scope, timeline, straightforward pricing, and warranty information. He is licensed/insured and makes sure that any permits that are required are obtained and full inspection from the County. Additionally, Lissandro provided my family with portable AC units while waiting to begin the project to give our family that missing comfort.

AGAIN, Lisandro delivers the best service we could ask for! He just installed for us January, 2023 a brand new American Standard variable condenser heat pump and handler as our old Carrier was breaking down after 10 years. We are so glad we went with Lisandro to fix our problem. While some other companies were telling us we needed a whole new system, turns out all we needed were the leaking and corroded coils replaced. Lisandro looked it over and said there was no need to destroy the good work another installer did and was shocked that we were told we needed a new carrier unit and handler. He saved us thousands of dollars, was so respectful of our property, laid out drop cloths so as to not track in dirt, and cleaned up after he finished. He's an honest, hardworking man who truly loves what he does and cares deeply for his customers. I had a doctors appointment the time he was coming and told him I would leave the front door unlocked for him. He let me know when he arrived and sent me pictures of his progress. Lisandro has always taken good care of me the past several years. This is the 2nd house he has done a full AC install in. When he put in the new systems, he increases efficiencies and fixes what was wrong in the past install. Like fixing the proper amount of air returning to unit, expanding vents, and rebuilding platforms.

He is passionate about his work and outs quality and customers first, he will not let you down. His prices are competitive, but quality of work surpasses that of many companies. Even the building inspector commented of the great job he did after the install. He treats you like family, will take great care of you.

Full replacement of 31 year old system (wish they still made them last this long!)

When I called, I spoke to the owner, Lisandro, who sounded not only knowledgeable, but also seemed like he loves his job and running his company. I setup a day for him to come look at my old system and get an estimate. He arrived on time and he talked about what he recommended needed to be done, answered my questions and was accommodating of my requests.

He recommended a Two stage Bryant 16 SEER 4 ton unit with a variable speed air handler (Models 226ANA048000, and FV4CNF005L00) and a super fancy touchscreen WiFi Thermostat. He also recommended that the air unit gets as much air flowing as possible since it helps tremendously with efficiency, so he said he'll change the current "closet" door where the air handler lives in, to a Louvre style door which has slats/grills to let air go through. He also was going to add a return grill which goes into to the adjacent room's wall, which at first I wasn't sure of, but it wouldn't be visible since the room's door would be blocking it from view.

Anyways, he emails the estimate and also several brochures of the system he will be installing, plus all the tax forms and rebates that I was eligible for. I agreed to the contract and I scheduled with him a date to start.

On the first day of installation, Lisandro and one of his employees showed up to do the work for the outside and another one came later to do the inside work. They were able to remove the old inside and outside units and also setup the new outside unit on a new cement slab after digging and replacing the old lines and pipes. The inside unit's "closet" was mostly preped and the new return was cut out, but it all still needed to be finished the next day and the air handler installed. The new closet door was also installed today. Luckily it wasn't unbearably hot that night, so not having AC wasn't as bad.

On the second day, they finished all the closet prep and installed the air handler and everything got connected and working. They did apparently get the wrong thermostat though (it was very similar), so a new one would be installed the next day. Also unfortunately, they found that the current electric wire that feeds the outside unit was rated for 40amps but the new unit needs 50amps, so now I needed to have an electrician run new wiring because it could be a hazard. I wasn't too happy about this, but I understand issues can come up. Lisandro told me we wouldn't be able pass inspection until the wiring gets done, so I scheduled an electrician to come by ASAP which was a couple of days later. On the meantime, I was already enjoying a new AC!

On the third day, the new thermostat was installed, but during the next two days I noticed the humidity was showing as very high and the air didn't feel as comfortable. I spoke to Lisandro and he sent out his employee to take a look again. The issue was fixed and now the AC was REALLY NICE AND COLD!

So now I just waited for the electrician to come by on the scheduled date (2 days later). Lisandro's sent his employee Luis to also meet with us to help answer and explain to the electrician what was needed. The work was done in a couple of hours and now all that was needed was to finally schedule our final inspection with the city which was set for a couple of days later and it passed easily since everyone did a great job.

I felt like North Pole bent over backwards to make sure everything turned out well. There was communication throughout all the stages of the installation. Even though there were two issues that came up, I still feel like these guys deserve five stars for the quality of the work, the customer service and communication they provide. Once everything was done, Lisandro provided 2 year supply of filters and a company shirt for my wife and I. In conclusion, if you want a reliable, hard working, non scammy company, that will treat you right, then hire these guys!

My wife and I have been using North Pole A/C since we moved into our house a few years ago. Lisandro has been our go to A/C technician. We've had multiple A/C issues pop up and Lisandro has been very responsive by showing up the same or following day to address them. Our most recent issue was a bad air handler fan motor. We reached out to Lisandro and he already could tell what the issues was. He asked a few questions about the air handler to ensure he had the proper motor. He arrived early the next day and made quick work of the fan motor replacement and cleaned out the system while he was there. Lisandro is extremely personable and will talk you through what he is working on and even give tips to keep your unit up and running nominally. Lisandro has been doing service in my home hvac for 4 years. With my old system, he did a great job. I was running my old system and waited till it stops.. Then we decided to move on to new hvac.

My drain pan/float switch was overflowing. I tried shopvac on the outside condensate drain line but it did not work. I called Lisandro and he did a complete cleaning and flushing of the entire system. Not only that, he noticed that our previous tech had performed a compressor relay which was actually killing our system slowly. Lisandro was able to put the system as it should be back together, along with making some key electrical adjustments to the zone panel and the air handler unit.
