I’ve been in Orlando for 18 years now and found Gary Munson Heating & Air after multiple companies had scammed me over a 5 year period, via a home warranty which I canceled after I saw how this type of work and service was supposed to be done. I’ve been able to get in touch with the owner on multiple occasions over the weekend, even on Sundays. This is how a well run company works - not the “cheapest” but guess what, I don’t want cheap. I want fair and Gary Munson is more than that. Thank you for the continued service over the years and look forward to using your services as long as they’re available!

My heating system stopped working at the worst possible time. I called my regular HVAC service company. The technician told me I needed a new system. I contacted Munson for a second opinion. They fit me on the schedule the same day, and came out and repaired it.
Everyone was professional and kind, from Chelsea, the dispatcher to Leslie, my technician. Leslie is knowledgeable and his customer service was exceptional. Munson has a new customer and I’ll recommend them to others.

Our AC went out and we called a company that we normally dealt with and they couldn’t get to us until 5 more days. If you live in Florida, you know that that 5 days would be like living on the Sun. A friend recommended Pro Tech so I called them and spoke with Jen (she was so awesome!) and they were able to send out a tech that day! Hector the tech was very polite, professional and fixed it quickly. He also did a thorough check on the inside unit to ensure everything was working properly. This has been an absolutely amazing experience and we will use them again for any future issues.

Sold us an expensive air conditioner system and it broke two months later. After talking with their customer service several times it’s been 5 hours that no one has contacted us to come and fix it. Thinking of putting a complaint with the BBB and taking legal action if they don’t get back to us soon. Very disappointed.

Lorenzo did an excellent job explaining my options, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and happy with my new system. The technicians, Eric and Hobid, were very professional and extremely hard workers. Eric was great at explaining the thermostat and app. They were careful, and I appreciated that they cleaned everything up. I like the professionalism exhibited by everyone I’ve been in contact with at Pro-Tech.

Eric Dominguez was very professional and friendly. He showed up early every day, and stayed far later then I ever expected, so he and his team could complete my new a/c system. I highly recommend Eric to any future customers. If I was the competition, I would try and steal him for my crew, he’s that awesome!

As always, the service was efficient and dependable. I can always count on Nick to do a great job. He is knowledgeable, polite and knows what he is doing. He has been my service person for many years and I will accept no other. I can trust him and trust that he will be thorough and complete. He is the one maintenance person that I welcome into my house. He does the maintenance on the air conditioner in my home and in another home on my property. I have always been pleased with his work.

I called this morning to have someone come out and fix my Moms AC. I was scheduled between 5-8. Zak came early around 230 which was great! He was very professional and fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. The price was reasonable and I am very happy with the service. I'll definitely use this company again and I'll be requesting Zak. He was awesome. Thanks Pro-Tech!

July 2023, I schedule a maintenance protech Arrived and did whatever they do and told me that I needed to Replace my Capacitor (Estimate Around $500 - Got My Own for $15) and Evaporator Coil (Estimate $2 Thousand)

Fast forward to 1/30/2025... New Maintenance Appointment... he Tech told me that Capacitor is good (Yes I replaced)... Coil is Good did NOT replace.... But Now I need a Compressor... (Estimate $4K for labor only)

Not sure what was done on my system but yesterday I had AC, today Temperature in my House is 80 +;

I Just googled the Average Life Span of a Residential AC Unit and I got for 15 to 20 Years... Mine was Installed September 2018.

So Pro-Tech... you do have Lots of Positive Reviews, maybe it's just my Dumb Luck, but I wanted you to know that I'm aware that I'm being abused.

In 2018 I had an AC unit that was breaking down on me often. A Nice Sales Person from Pro-Tech came to my house, sold me a Unit… “My
Problems were Over”….
Well every 6 months or so I have to call them and schedule a Service… $120 plus whatever they “find this time”.
The only thing they interested is selling you on the “comfort whatever club”…
I’m already invested… unit already in my house… so I have no escape… but if you in the market…. R U N…
Update as of 01/2023.. Now they say I have a Leak ant it will cost me $1700 to fix... Again R-U-N

Very professional, remembered that they serviced our house a long time ago and was very pleasant to be around. I’m glad to have met people like Moises and the team/coworkers he has. Especially with the trust and quality of work they provide. 10/10 will definitely want them back if there is work to be done.

Had a potential issue with my AC as the condensation safe-t switch popped out and was leaking everywhere yesterday. Ramon from Pro-Tech came out today and inspected the entire system. He was able to clean out the drainage line and educate me on how to take care of it in the future. He was also very professional and a super nice guy. The entire experience was great and I'm very glad I contacted Pro-Tech!

At the beginning Pro-Tech was a good company but after I got the maintenance contract every changed, I got sent workers literally to rob me. They tried to charge me 5000$ for a cleaning, but if i wanted to change my carrier unit it will be 29,000

Jordan Darby, what can i say, needs to be appreciated so much more. This guy went above and beyond to check my system and not only that but inform me, a new homeowner, educating me on anything and everything relates to my ac system. I will forever be indebted to him taking his time to go through the steps teaching me some of the tips and tricks. He needs to be more than an ordinary technician, i tell you that service felt valuable!!! Highly recommend JORDAN DARBY. PAY HIM WHAT HES WORTH!

I signed up for the annual maintenance service with pro tech. Victor M. was my technician. He was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. He reviewed all of the work completed with me. There were lots of pictures to document our system and the service provided. I am a happy customer! Thank you Victor and thank you Pro Tech.

I was thankful of the time Joe (the Plumber) took to discover the “root” of the problem (no pun intended) that caused the underground pipe to crack. He was efficient and took his time making sure all was fixed for a quality job delivered. He took pictures and included a detailed narrative of all that was found and all that was done to fix it. And after all was said and done, he even left the area nice and clean and back to normal like it was. I would definitely recommend Joe and ProTech to others I know who may experience the same issue. Victor did a very thorough job on the maintenance of my AC and heater! He cleaned out the inside and outside carefully and rinsed out the drain tubes. He showed me photos when he was done including the readings showing the systems were working properly.
Employees like Victor have made me a loyal customer!

Chris was the very best. He was on time, friendly and most importantly, very knowledgeable about the work he did for us - changing a natural gas stove to use with propane. It was a difficult job, that's why I had several companies quote estimates. They were extremely thorough, came 3 times to make sure they had everything done right.
Responded to every email or call within 15 to 30 minutes!
The job was done fast and good and everybody involved was respectful and knew what he was doing !
