This was my first time using Pro Tech after listening to there radio show. The whole process was seamless, from the time of making the appointment In the morning providing me with same day service. Ramon the technician arrived on time as requested and was very professional, customer service friendly and very knowledgeable to my needs. I will definitely use Pro Tech again and refer them to my friends and neighbors. Great job!

Short Version:
Clear communication, professional, on-time, and incredibly efficient! Gerry and the Pro-Tech Team consistently went above and beyond in their work! The Pro-Tech Team will be my first choice for any future plumbing and A/C services I need!
Long Version:
First, I called on a national holiday during dinner time (I didn't anticipate anyone to pick up, but I called anyways). While she missed my initial call, Anna promptly called me back within 10 minutes to see how she could help and schedule the service I needed. We were able to schedule a repair for within 24 hours of my call so I was pleasantly surprised!
Secondly, Joyce also noticed my missed call and called me to ensure that my home was either repaired or scheduled to be repaired. I really appreciated this follow-up and their dedication to ensure their customers are taken care of.
Now we come to Gerry. Gerry's friendly, courteous, incredibly knowledgeable, a great communicator, and super efficient! I showed him the broken shower handle and within a few moments he already had a diagnosis and explained to me what had likely happened that caused the issue. A few moments after that he had already replaced the cartridge, re-assembled the handle, turned on the water, and cleaned up his workspace! I also really appreciated that Gerry pointed out several other vulnerabilities in my current plumbing so I can plan ahead and avoid unwanted surprises in the future. Overall, Gerry's fantastic and the whole Pro-Tech team will take incredible care of you and your home.

Omar and the other person, both of them were very kind and they made sure the area was left clean. They worked really diligently with a positive attitude throughout the whole day which I liked. I will say though that this AC replacement work took a very long time (a whole day almost) to replace our old AC with a brand new one.However, as long as it took, it was well worth it and we are very pleased with the results. Thank you Pro-Tech!This company definitely provide good quality and good service.

Eric Jackson's service was superb!! He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, patient and he addressed all of my concerns. He arrived on time and proceeded to diagnose and repair the problem. Eric explained everything in a clear, understandable manner. In addition, he gave me a short tutorial ("what to do" and "what not to do") in case I have the same issue in the future. Eric Jackson is an outstanding representative of Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Plumbing and I would highly recommend him without reservation.

12/06/2023 Jay was fantastic, a true example of an employee who goes above & beyond the norm to ensure the customer is happy. Her professionalism and good nature made the whole experience as pleasant as possible. Although she was on a maintenance call, she happily & skillfully rectified a problem that had occurred the day before the visit. Please keep her employed & happy.

William & Marcel did a fantastic job installing my new AC system. They took the time to install everything included new parts and replaced the old pipes. I would give 10 stars if I could, and I’ll definitely recommend Pro Tech to any of my family and friends!

Manuel did a great job installing my water heater! And Joe did an excellent job installing the water system! Highly recommended!!

Found a leak under our kitchen sink late last night. Called Pro-Tech early this morning and they were able to send Bryce out in less than 3 hours. Bryce verified what the problem was and had it repaired and cleaned up in less than an hour. He was friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything he was doing. We asked him about our future plans for replacing the sink and Bryce was very helpful with his advice. We will definitely use Pro-Tech in the future.

Update (6/27/2024): Thank you Roberto Rodriguez for a job well done on our A/C service. This is the second time we've called Pro-Tech since moving to Florida. Total professionals, highly recommended.

I highly recommend Protect. Moises and his teammate gave excellent explanations. Gave me good tips on how to save money. I was especially impressed with the thoroughness of the maintenance and care for my units. Quickly troubleshooted a noise issue I was having. So much done at one time. Awesome!

My home experienced a main water leak early Sunday morning. It was right at the meter where OUC ended. I called both OUC and Pro-Tech and three other plumbing companies to come to the house and determine if it was something I was responsible to fix or if OUC could take care of the issue. Of all the plumbing companies I called this morning, Lynn at Pro-Tech took my call live (not an answering service) and was able to re-route Michael, her technician, to my home. Both Michael and the OUC technician came around at the same time. It turned out it was something OUC could fix since the leak was on their side. Credit to **Pro-Tech for being the only plumbing company to come out within hours of my call**. The other plumbing companies never even called me back OR were only available later that evening. Ron, Pro-Tech plumbing manager, contacted me to review the visit and come to an amicable agreement since it was OUC that actually fixed the leak. Based on our conversation, I will certainly be calling Lynn, Michael and Ron once more at Pro-Tech for any future plumbing needs.

Joseph Hammett, was on time and fast got the work done with no hassle! He was amazing sweet and I would definitely use him again.

I've used them several times because they are fast and I think do good work (I'm not a very handy guy). But the estimates and prices are kind of odd. They won't show you the breakdown of labor vs parts although they are usually knowledgeable about things and always professional. My biggest issue is the lack of transparency in pricing. I got a recharge and had a drier leak which they replaced. The materials cost (I looked them up) for 410a refrigerant and the actual drier part are around $200 -$400 for a 25 LB tank and $20 - $40 for the drier. So lets go with the high end of parts and say it costs $450 (I only got 12 lbs of refrigerant mind you). They charged me $1771 and the tech was here from 4:00 - 5:30. Seems pretty high--- I guess I should have gotten several quotes first but I needed to get the AC back up as I have two young children. I don't think I'll be going to them for anything besides emergencies as they are fast and seemingly do decent work but charge you as much as they likely think they can get away with.

Had a terrible experience with Pro-Tech and will not be using them again. Their technicians are incompetent and the company as a whole does not know how to communicate with their customers properly. I have had three techs in my shop over the course of a year and half. Every single one of them did not know what they were doing and have relayed different information. I requested to speak to a manager on multiple occasions and never received a call back - NEVER. Bad business and bad management. Save your money and work a more reputable company in the area.

Jordan not only addressed the issue at hand but also tackled the root cause with impressive efficiency and effectiveness. The entire process, from the initial service call confirmation to the follow-up and post-operation, was seamless and well-organized. Cesar, the a/c tech was awesome! He arrived early, solved my issue and went above and beyond! Plus…he loves cats:) I’ve been a Pro-Tech customer for more than 12 years and will swear by them. Great service, great pricing and had issues resolved by next day. I highly recommend!

Really disappointed in pro-tech. Our AC went out the night before thanksgiving. We did all the common trouble shooting and nothing worked so we decided to call a professional. Pro tech put us on the list for that night but they weren’t able to get us on the schedule until the day of thanksgiving. I was impressed that they didn’t charge extra for coming on nights/holidays. The tech came, not super friendly, but if he can fix the AC then I don’t care. He comes in, looks at the AC for 10 minutes and tells us the motor for the fan blew. Then he goes outside for 10 minutes to look at the unit and says the compressor is bad. He then tells us we need a whole new unit. We were shocked. The AC was installed in 2016, which I know they may only last 10-15 years, but it has worked fine up until now and we always do our monthly changing of filters and clearing the lines. I understand that it was thanksgiving and he wanted to finish up his jobs but he barely troubleshooted. We ended up calling another company for a 2nd opinion, and lo and behold they fixed it and saved us thousands of dollars. It ended up being an electrical issue. The other company were very surprised that pro tech said the motor and compressor were bad when they are in great condition. Moral of the story is to always get a second opinion, especially if you’re using pro tech AC

Found these people off of an AD on youtube lol & i’m SO thankful, my AC stopped working on a saturday with the
house rising to 90 degrees, and they came out sunday, although there was an issue with scheduling on their end *Luis Del Pozo* came out, explained everything to us, educated us, made recommendations & truly went above and beyond with his service! We will recommend his to all of our friends in the future!

Eric and RJ took excellent care of us, staying after hours to make sure the job was done. They explained all the issues and options, which the last company did not. Thank you!

Big company, big bill, little quality service.
$550 estimate to use camera to assess and then to fix/clear out pipe. But we got $660 bill to only assess with camera! Didn’t fix it and they didn’t even assess it correctly! Once we got another plumber he explained what was the real problem and fixed it quickly as well as giving us tips for future maintenance.
They did install my water heater last year and that went well - but also on expensive side.

Have never come across such an unprofessional company. Called them with an AC issue. Instead of diagnosing the problem and calling us with an estimate or discussing options, they went ahead and changed the parts without our permission and handed us a big bill. In the past, we have paid between 200-220 for a capacitor. Here they charged us 550 for changing the capacitor. When I asked, why is their price so high, they said because they are a one of a kind company. I am really disappointed and would never use their service again. I wish, I had read all the reviews before scheduling them.

Full HOME HEATING/AC SYSTEM INSTALLED!

Excellent team work! Old unit removed and new unit installed in one day !.

I needed a full heating AC unit and it took one phone call to schedule and in 2 days including the county permit!

Good communication through the process as well. Omar led the entire process and took his time to explain. excellent services !
