Our AC wasn't working (the fan would not spin for cool and would freeze the coils but the heat worked fine) and I came in trying to buy a new capacitor and ask some questions about the buzzing motherboard because we wanted to fix it ourselves rather than pay someone to do it. Ivan first came off a little gruff but was honestly nothing but helpful in trying to troubleshoot our unit from afar; after saying it couldn't be the capacitor he talked me out of buying it because he didn't want to take my money for something he didn't think would fix the problem. He helped me find where the part number would be on the motherboard to see if he could get the piece from a third party and when we got the piece, our AC worked like new, even better than after its last service. There are quite a few reviews on here about poor customer service, but when you need something the employees truly seem like they are ready and willing to help. Ivan helped fix our AC by listening to the problem and helping me work through the solutions; he even came outside when I left to tell me my tire was low on air. If we needed any parts for our unit in the future, I will definitely be returning because they are worthy of the business.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Easy in, easy out. I am always willing to try home repairs on my own. Places like this make it possible. I took them the info on an AC capacitor, they asked me a couple questions and provided the part immediately. No need for dealer license. They sell direct to the public. Perfect.

I personally have had it with Blacks supply. The one on the east side.They are rude, have no customer service skills and do not care for their customers. I am on a job (one of those tough jobs). All of us Hvac guys knows what its like to be in the middle of summer on a tough job. I simple called and asked what price he's getting for 410. He snapped back at me "whos it for". I returned with its for me. He got an attitude and told me hes not giving me any information and the only way I would get a price is to bring in my EPA card. I will do you better. Im attaching my contractors license. I believe they have lost touch sitting in the AC all day. We are out here working and I needed a part. They are a parts store. Instead of answering a simple question, he decided to play games. Well go play games with someone else sir. This is why I stopped going to blacks years ago and as of now not one of my 6 techs or install teams will either.
You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Garbage return policy not posted of not being able to return electrical parts which the staff hand picked based on the pictures you provided. It’s either a defective part or they picked out the wrong part for the unit.they won’t exchange out part or give store credit and apparently the only people who get parts returned are licensed contractors. I thought the people who installed the unit were crooks that applys to the people that sell the parts as well take your business else where

The staff was so patient and polite with me, despite me knowing so little and asking so much. They helped me with my home. My house is now a home :-)

The staff is very efficient, knowledgeable, know what they have in stock and get you in and out. They provide free water and ice to the customers. Plus the warehouse staff delivers the materials to your vehicle.

OMG, this supply house should be on everyone's list. The staff is awesome. Adrian was so helpful with helping me with my order. John went above and beyond, they didn't have something I needed and he made calls to not only find it, but located it, priced it, and ordered it for me.
