Very disappointed with our experience. We hired this company for a septic install on our new construction home based on a quote they provided — which we agreed to. However, they never actually came out to properly inspect the site before quoting.

Once they finally visited the property, they informed us that we would need to bring in sand, install a pump, and add an alarm pump — all of which added an unexpected $3,000 to the original quote.

We let them know that another company had already quoted us for the full scope of work including those items, and asked if they would price match. They refused. We then told them we wanted to cancel since no work has been done.

They’re refusing to return our full deposit, saying they are keeping the permit fee and charging an additional 10% cancellation fee — despite the fact that the quote was inaccurate and incomplete from the start.

It feels like they are penalizing us for their lack of due diligence. Unprofessional, misleading, and costly. Would not recommend.

I have been using Total for about 10 years now. This by far is the best service visit to date. Matt Hughey performed this service. His professionalism, attention to detail and customer service rivaled any prior visit. Had to have my septic tank pumped. He is the first service tech in 10 years that realized I had two tanks. Obviously not his first rodeo.
He brought to my attention different options for maintaining my system. He also offered me a thorough and complete estimate to replace my system. He went over all quotes in detail. Needless to say it was the kinda service you don't really see anymore in todays world. Very impressed, and to put it plainly just a hell of a nice guy. Definitely will be using Total for future services and installations, and will be sure to request Matt again. Great Job Total.

Septic pumped-nice techs but ripped up lawn & left it damaged. Never had this happen before & have had septic done in several homes. Called it in & was told multiple times that they “aren’t a landscaping company” meaning ‘my problem, not theirs’. We’ve been working to get our lawn back in shape so this is disheartening. Won’t use again & would not recommend.

I hired them to clean grease for my restaurant, They called our waiter and left without even coming in. The reason was that the waiter said she didn't know. How did the waiter know that I hired you? Shouldn't you come in and find the owner or manager? Or call the number I contacted you. Then I was told that I would have to wait until 11 o'clock the next day for new personnel to come to handle it. I called the clean grease department to know what happened, and a guy answered the phone and yelled at me impatiently.

Elton and Gavin did the service at my residence today, they did an excellent job and went above and beyond to explain to me the services they did as well as making sure everything was operating correctly.

5 star to these guys! The while time they were communicative and very friendly. My kids loved watching them and asking them questions. Kyle, Wilmer, and Joe were all fantastic! They were not only friendly but responsible and respectful. It's hard to come by hard-working people that you also feel comfortable to have around your house and kids. Not scammers at all! Just read what they give you, and you will know what is being done. Yes, things will get "messed up" if it's in the way of the drain field, but Kyle was kind enough to let us know beforehand. Highly highly recommend!

My house was just serviced by Total and they did an excellent work. Elton came with his helper and they were very careful around the yard, explaining all the processes and completed the job in a very professional manner. Two thumbs up!!!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I hired this plumbing company to fix a clogged toilet issue in my home, and after three visits and over $600 spent, the problem is still not fixed.

They came the first day, told us everything was resolved — but it wasn’t. The toilets were still clogged. We called them back the next day, and they came back 4 days later charged an additional $225 to “clean the filter.” Later that same day, the exact same problem returned.

When we called for a third time, they wanted to charge another $250 just to come back out, even though the issue was never properly diagnosed or repaired in the first place.

This has been extremely frustrating, unprofessional, and expensive with zero results.
Do NOT use this company. Save yourself the money and the stress.

We worked with Total Enviro Services to clean our grease trap. Technician arrived on time - even earlier, which was amazing! The job was done fast and efficient! We will definitely ask the team to work on our grease trap again!

Wilber, Justin,( Jason ) James and crew did a fantastic job.
My family could use the new installed drain field within a few hours on instal day.
James was very polite in walking me through everything including making sure I didn’t need to take down a very large oak tree…thank you James.
Wilber worked as if it was his own home including finding and replacing an elbow in the Main line that also needed a gasket. ( I’m not sure other companies would have made that caring observation and repair.
Justin ( might be Jason ? ) operated the heavy machines like he grew on a farm …because he did ! ..that’s the type of experience you want .
I’m left feeling confident about my new system and can rest easy for another 30 years .

We had Total Enviro Services replace our drain field as it required a full replacement. James answered all of my questions and coordinated the installation! Justin, Wilmar and Jonathan were extremely professional and completed the job in a timely manner. I appreciated their clear communication, efficiency, and the respect they showed for my property. Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable and professional septic service!

I wish there was an option lower than 1-star. Met with Kevin Wade to install grease traps at my business. Got no follow-up, and when I reached out multiple times, I finally got a response that we didn't submit the contract (which we never got). Then, the day that I needed them to be installed, Kevin realized he got our project confused with another, and basically refused to do the job. We had to emergency order our own grease traps and had to have our plumber install it. We will not be using Total Enviro Services for servicing nor for any project in the future due to Kevin's lack of professionalism throughout the entire process.

I needed a new septic tank and drain field. Total Septic came to my house and did a fantastic job. Workmanship was very professional, The whole entire crew very friendly, knowledgeable and good personalities. Wilmur & Jonathan are members of this crew and were outstanding as was the entire crew. Very Professional…call this company when the need arrives… they’re great…

This condescending response as well as similar responses to negative reviews do not resonate with a customer focused business. I am however glad to hear that I have taught you something, because when I mentioned that this was a hazard, the employee I spoke with expressed no concern whatsoever. NO ONE offered to replace the lid until I called repeatedly, stating how this is not acceptable due to the safety and environmental hazard it presents and the company’s proposed solution was to “send dispatch with a piece of particle board and charge for the visit”. Unless you are the technician who I spoke with or the one who actually performed the work (since you did not mention your name in your response) I honestly don’t understand how you can be attesting to the events that occurred.

Yes a replacement is needed but I am failing to see how this was a professional way to deal with the problem presented to you. This is literally the third explanation I have received regarding what happened to the tank lid. There is no need to try to shift blame, you keep implying that I “must have know” these things, however I am not the one that works in the profession.

You have shown your potential and past customers far better than I ever could the true nature in your company’s integrity and manner that you conduct business.

Total septic performed a pump on my system. Informed me of needed repairs, and left the entire septic tank completely open, save the caution tape and four thin stakes. I have children, live across from a park where small children play all the time, temperatures have exceeded the 90s this week and it has rained daily. Have called them back multiple times and the woman who answers the office phone has told me that they are not responsible to cover it, refused to let me speak to anyone who may be of more assistance and that she “only answers the phones to help out”. Not only has this company shown blatant disregard for this being a health and environmental hazard, they are extremely unprofessional in my attempts to solve this issue.

These guys were great. Wilmer and the rest of the guys did exactly what they said they would. They were all very polite and worked a full day even in the rain. They had to work inside our screened porch and even cleaned up after the job. We are extremely happy with the service we received 😀

Amazing customer service! Today Wilmer and the crew from Total Enviro Services did some work for my employer. We all appreciated how communicative he was and kept us informed throughout the day. Really kind and hardworking guys! He’s also bilingual, which is a great plus to have!
