I was referred to Vance for a sudden A/C stoppage after severe thunderstorms. He was immediately responsive, easy to deal with, prompt , professional and did everything he said he would. He explained and fixed what t turned out to be a simple issue in a timely manner. Hard to find amazing service personnel after almost 30 years in South Florida. Highly recommend!!

In a troubled South Florida sea of questionable and shady service contractors, CF Air Conditioning and Vance stand out as a breath of (cold!) fresh air. I have dealt with many contractors in my time, both in the yachting industry and at home. Vance at CF stands head and shoulders above the rest with his honesty, great communication, diligence, and follow up. He diagnosed an exterior condenser unit that other contractors recommended replacement on (while misdiagnosing the cause of the fault). He provided a honest, accurate diagnosis recommending a fix instead to get a few more years out of the unit. In other words, he did not try to upsell to the expensive option but gave his honest professional opinion. His prices were cheaper for both options and the repair worked flawlessly. Vance also made a follow up visit to check the system and ensure everything was satisfactory. When do you see that?! Rarely in SF do you meet a knowledgeable and honest repair company not out for the expensive fix or needles up-selling to your detriment. CF has a strong ethos of honest, knowledgeable service at a very competitive price point. Ignore calling them at your peril.

He was proficient and professional and also explained the services and all the nuances associated with the what he was doing in layman’s terms. Let me say without hesitation that Vance and his company represent the highest level of professionalism that I have found in South Florida service companies. What a relief to find a contractor of this character!!! Absolutely head and shoulders above anyone else that I have dealt with. We had an issue with our AC unit and he gave us an honest assessment of the situation and presented alternatives. We made our decision and had him replace the unit. His service after the sale is impeccable and far surpasses expectations. He called soon after to see if we had any questions or issues. We have an electronic thermostat (preexisting, not his install) which has been problematic, and yet he has been responsive, even on weekends (which of course when AC units seem to have problems) and helped walk us through some fixes for it, despite it not being his work or responsibility! This young man exemplifies all the best about service companies and provides a feeling of comfort and security that is sadly lacking in so many companies here in South FL. If you need any HVAC work done, you really need to make this your choice of service provider. Honest, fair, dependable - They are the absolute best, in my opinion!!!

Vance and his company are everything a homeowner wants when AC help is needed. Vance is honest, shows up, and he is a problem solver. He methodically analyzed my complex ac issues, worked tirelessly to fix every issue he found and charged me a very reasonable rate to do so.
I have used all the SO. Florida big name ac companies over the years and they each overcharged and under-delivered. Vance installed a new air handler and made many other corrections. I recommend Vance and his company without reservation.

Vance and his people were efficient, knowledgeable, personable and cleaned up after themselves! They were quick in coming and in giving me an estimate on a new system which was reasonable and in line if not cheaper than others, and installed it within a week. The upgrade they made in the system made a world of difference in the cooling of our home. They even replaced the crumbling cement block the equipment was on outside. Highly recommend!!

Fast, reliable and honest!
We called Vance at CF Air after our unit gave out and he came out to the house the same day. Within 24 hours we had a brand new handler and outdoor unit. The crew was courteous and mindful, they cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. Can’t recommend them enough.

It is always so tough finding a company you can trust. Without the knowledge of the trade, you never know when you’re being taken for a ride. These guys have the “family feel.” You can tell that they are doing everything they can to spare your bank account which is CRUCIAL for South Florida. Alex was very thorough and took his time. He made sure to check and triple check before he left. Vance is so knowledgeable on the topic and knows exactly what he is doing, it is such a relief. He guarantees everything is perfect before he leaves and even checked up on us afterwards.
Our unit broke down after their business hours and they were here almost immediately. These guys are so trustworthy. Highly recommend.

It’s very difficult to find a good AC company that does reliable work and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg to do so. Vance is very personable and took the time to understand what the issue was with my AC, explained everything in an easy to understand manner and got the job done timely! I’ve had my fair share of AC issues over the years and I can honestly say it was a pleasure (minus the broken AC part) dealing with this company over others. Will definitely use them again for all my future AC needs!
