I’ve been working with this company for years. They are one of the best service providers that I deal with. We have the same service tech every time which is comforting when you are allowing someone into your home. His name is Rudy and he is the absolute best. He confirms appointments, shows up when he says he will, and is thorough. Genuinely nice guy who clearly cares about his work and job performance. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

I started smelling a very bad smell in a bedroom of my house. It got so bad that you could tell there was something dead. I found critter control online and called them. The same day they came to help me out. Excellent and very fast service. Caitlin was very efficient and knowledgeable. Jay did the extraction of the dead animal in my attic so I’m very thankful to critter control.

I have been using Critter Control for almost a year now and we seem no closer to riding my house of the rats in my roof than when we started. They installed a barrier to prevent access but the rats have a way around it and after many requests they still won't send their specialist out to check it. The techs they send are great and admit they can tell I have an issue. On top of the techs smelling the rats I have installed numerous cameras and shown them countless videos of the rats in the attic as well as inside and outside the external barrier. Every tech says they'll mention this to upper management but no one ever reaches out to me to get rid of the problem. I want to redo my air ducts and my insulation but refuse to spend that money while rats are still living in the ceiling. All the techs do is rebait the same traps that haven't worked. I need someone to locate exactly how they are getting in and out of the roof and close the opening. I am very disappointed with Critter Control.

I definitely needed Critter Control. The technician (Jesse) who provided the service, did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He did a lot of work in my attic and on the roof. He also redid a prior job rather than trying to upgrade it. I'm very pleased with the service.

We paid thousands of dollars to have our attic “cleared” of rodents and all our entry points sealed. We can still hear rats in our attic and I have called 3 times to have someone come back out. The 3rd call I finally spoke with someone who said they would be sending a representative out to do any work necessary to reseal our house. That was almost 2 months ago and they never came out. This was a complete waste of money.

The original sales person Caitlyn was excellent - knew what she was talking about and very pleasant. Tech Jay was great- very responsive and came and called to check on the traps. He also cleaned up the patio after the raccoon made a mess of the trash bag that covered the traps to keep the rain off. Would highly recommend.

Critter control has been very responsive and timely when urgently needed. I have been a customer for over two years now. John is definitely an asset to the company. I have been very happy with his service. He is very communicative and puts your mind at ease.

Christopher and Jay were both very professional, reliable, courteous, & knowledgable of their job. Both knew a lot about raccoons in general. The team worked extremely hard and endlessly until the job was completed.
I will definitely be recommending this company to my friends & neighbors should they need the same type of service.

I couldn’t be happier with Critter Control. Every service technician sent by this company has been exemplary. They work efficiently, professionally, and have been personable. Andell is my current service technician and he has been awesome! He is an exceptional young man. He always notifies me when he’s coming, a day in advance, and will adjust his schedule for me if needed. He reviews the monthly rodent activity with me, checks areas of concern, and answers my questions. When I had a rat in my attic earlier this year he and his team solved the problem quickly and completely.
Everyone living on a waterway in Broward County is susceptible to rodent activity and should consider Critter Control.

Service is always timely and thorough.

Jay, my service technician was excellent. He was able to capture and remove two snakes on the initial visit. And then sprayed deterrant around the permiter of the house and within the screen porch where the snakes breached. Fingers crossed it's the last we'll see of any more snakes.

Sent the following feedback to this company, and also spoke to 2 individuals in their service department, but it elicited no response whatsoever:
The CRITTER has been CONTROLLED, but my issue is that I paid upfront--before the problem was actually diagnosed--for services that were NEVER NECESSARY NOR PERFORMED.
Your "free inspection" amounted to a sales call. With no evidence, I was sold on the premise of a rat infestation and all the remedies that would entail.
A few days later, within 5 minutes of the arrival of your technician, I was informed, "100%, it's a racoon." And he was correct.
There were no traps setup, no baits to maintain, no cleanup, no physical removal of wildlife, and certainly, no reason to be charged a monthly fee in advance.
I'm sure you've had your own experiences with auto repairs, a leaking A/C, maybe a dryer not drying. Were you ever required to pay in advance for an issue that was NOT the cause of the problem?
This is not a reputable way of doing business.
I look forward to your response and hope you will "make it right."

UPDATE 3/3/25:
Well, Mr. "Owner" (see below), a manager did contact me. And assured me I would be reimbursed for at least some of the services not performed. That was 10 days ago and there has been no followup as promised. And my message left 6 days ago has gone unanswered. Is that "taking my feedback seriously?"
Just the other day, a neighbor, who may have his own critter problem, asked about my experience. I told him, "You don't want to deal with that company."

UPDATE:
That manager never did get in touch again, but I later found a $499 credit on my Visa account. And then almost on cue, there appeared a Critter Control $74 monthly maintenance charge. This time I bypassed the silliness and disputed the charge directly to Visa and was given an instant credit. So I can at least praise Visa.

Many years ago I used Critter Control to remove rats in my attic. After removing them and sealing the possible entryways , I’ve never had that problem again. I am using this great company now to remove iguanas from my roof. Just starting the process, Critter Control has come to the house twice and are scheduled for a few more visits to treat the problem. All of their technicians are knowledgeable and patient and professional. Kaitlyn surveyed the attic and roof and was able to determiner the problem. Endell came the next day to set traps, seal some areas on the roof, and spray the roof and property with a deterrent. He answered all of my questions and did a thorough job. Chris continued to monitor the traps and returned to the property many times. He was an incredible technician. Rudy, the manager, also was a great help whenever I had any questions. Hopefully, the iguanas will now find other places to do their damage! I highly recommend Critter Control, but hopefully I won’t have to call them again!🤣

$800 for four nights of two traps seems expensive. We were in a hurry because we were fed up with raccoons. They only caught one raccoon and two opossums. Compare prices before choosing Critter Control.
Critter Control pointed out one torn soffit vent and they wanted to do an extraction even though there was no evidence of animals in my attic.
Another company fixed the second floor soffit for $150, hundreds of dollars less than I was quoted from Critter Control.

I had a really bad experience with Critter Control. 7 months ago I purchased a home in Oakland Park, and found out there were rat problems. I contacted Critter Control to request assistance. They charged me almost $3k, and falsely claimed that they did the required work. I inspected the property and provided photos and videos to the contrary. The manager basically argued with me and refused to take ownership of the issue. He only became interested when I posted a poor review and contacted the BBB. They then refunded my money, admitted the failure and asked me to remove the reviews in exchange for the refund. I did not post after this but I am at the end of my patience. Despite cancelling the contract, 6 months later I still get their employees calling to say they are coming by. This company is an absolute fraud - proven when I brought in 2 other pest control companies and they walked me around the house to show the failures. Critter Control will steal your money and not solve your problem. Try a company like Blackout Pest.
