I am so thankful !Mr Jim really helped me from start to finish..A different company quoted me a model with Energy savings but wrote down a cheaper model trying to reap me up.I called to cancel the appointment scheduled with "FILTERBUY " out of curiosity ,Mr Jim asked ,"what model did you get from them ?" I sent him the info thinking that I had gotten a good deal..Thank God ! From there ,Mr Jim assisted and educated me.He really saved me.I recently became a widow.His understanding, patience,knowledge really came in handy.I would recommend this company over and over.The installer was great 👍 from arrival until done.They left the garage clean 👏 Thanks FILTERGUY HVAC .

Filterbuy had an advertisement in century village newspaper. So I called their office regarding my AC dripping water. The customer service was extremely helpful and said they could get a tech out that day. Wow, yes please. The tech came on time. Found out that my AC was leaking Freon, but would need to do a nitrogen test, and would take 2 days. The test came back that I had a leak in the compressor. They explained my choices, and I decided to go with a complete new unit. They said they would get it installed as soon as possible. They installed my new unit the next day. The Tech David was more than amazing. He definitely knew his job, inside and out. He told me he wasn’t leaving until I had AC again. He kept true to his word, at 9.00pm, after working nine hours, he had cold air up and running. If anyone is in need of a service or installation, I would certainly recommend this company, hands down about all the other AC service companies I have had over the past five years. You cannot go wrong by going with Filterbuy.

I am usually a reluctant reviewer but not in this case. FilterBuy HVAC is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with, and I have been in the property management business for decades. They provided prompt responses for providing a well-priced proposal, scheduling and installation, and provided knowledgeable information. They showed flexibility when necessary and communicated easily. The installation crew was "spot-on". The work is new but so far the follow up for minor questions has been prompt and responsive. I would recommend these folks to anyone.

We woke up last week to see ice on our air con. I didn't know who to call by me in Pompano but Filterbuy was close. Very glad that I did. They found the freon leak in my coil and got the warranty change done the next day. Thank you filterbuy!

I called Filterbuy on a Friday at 6:15pm because my AC unit seemed to be struggling to put out really cold air. It definitely seemed as though something was wrong. Even though they told me I would have a tech arrive between 12-3, Wesley was at my door just before 10:30am. Better way early than late I suppose. Wesley checked my unit and it seemed as though everything was OK, but we both agreed that the air outflow should be cooler. He installed a “Hard Start” on my capacitor and it worked like a charm! Now I have ice cold air blowing once again! Thanks to Wesley, my 10+ year old AC unit is working like new!! He didn’t try and talk me into anything I didn’t need. I feel very comfortable with Wesley addressing my issue. I highly recommend Fiterbuy HVAC solutions, and especially Wesley S.

Misleading and untrustworthy. This company does not clearly explain issues to customers. Instead, they create confusion. I had already done a duct cleaning with another company, yet they pushed for another duct cleaning instead of properly addressing the coils. They claimed the coils were fine, which was false—another technician later confirmed the coils were very dirty and cleaned them.

Rather than being transparent, they redirected the problem back and forth (ducts, then coils), which appears designed to confuse customers and lead to unnecessary services. This is not about cost—it’s about honesty and clear communication. I would not recommend them.👎

My client in Miami was looking to replace his entire a/c system--two condensers and air handlers. After a couple of months of research, viewing reviews, receiving estimates, and countless phone calls with Dave, we chose Filterbuy HVAC Solutions. Every detail was addressed and the project was completed in record time. The technicians were also top notch! They are the best in the business!

Technician was knowledgeable and helpful as well as respectful of my home. He explained the process well. Unfortunately I didn’t know that he would need roof access and I should have coordinated that with my condo maintenance team. I will for the next service visit. Highly recommend

My current unit kept leaking and I knew it was time to shop around. A close friend suffered the same fate a week ago and shared his experience with me. I reached out and Dave got back to me in no time. Probably the best thing I did for my home this year.

Dave gave me an over phone consult. He patiently answered all of my questions and I told him what I had in mind. He told me about the difference in tonnage size, the brands and warranty. . I always do my research, and everything Dave said I understood because he was being truthful. The next day, as promised, he was able to give me a quote. When I finally made up my mind, he was able to schedule the replacement just in a couple of days. Andre arrived an hour early and was a true professional from the jump. He answered my questions and kept me updated on his progress. After about 4 hours, he was done and he cleaned up after himself both inside and outside my house.

Living in Miami, and for someone who struggles in Spanish, it has been tough to find contractors that you can trust. This entire experience has been such a breath of fresh air. Their customer service is impeccable and I appreciate how responsive they are to all of my silly inquiries. Not once did I feel coerced or forced. Thank you for respecting me as a customer. I highly recommend.

First, Mark came to repair my blown out AC unit. Repair was not possible. Mark was very kind & helpful, explaining the problem, a really great guy to work with, so I wanted to use this company for the new unit; plus their price quote was well below another company I called for an estimate.

The timing was good. I was finally selling a property, & had to wait for those funds to clear before I could afford a new AC unit. Moe, in the office, kept in touch with me, totally understanding my financial predicament. We set the Instal date, but then I had to delay it 1 week due to a federal holiday. Again, Moe was cheery, & helpful when arranging the instal delay. As planned I gave him half up front to order, then the rest due upon completed installation. Moe was interested in making the sale, but not in an intrusive manner. He was also lovely to work with.

Finally it was installation day. Two men came first thing, & got to work, making room in my garage for them to work. Unfortunately for them, my garage is full of my deceased mother's boxes, which they moved out of their way for me. I was very grateful because the boxes were mostly books, so very heavy for me. From there they installed the new AC, while putting up with my Yorkie’s periodic yapping. The new AC installation was completed in four very efficient hours, while also pointing out my phone that I’d put down, then was looking for all over. These guys were wonderful, & very nice answering all my questions. They were very thoughtful, not driving away until they saw I had my dogs secured behind closed doors. They also installed a new thermostat that is smaller than my original, which means I have to do a touch up paint job.

I am very glad I found this company, because going forward, I have confidence calling them for the yearly repairs AC units invariably require.

Mark was an incredibly patient and kind person. It went further than just helping me diagnose this issue, he is an older brother to a large family and treats you like he actually cares. I had to call an electrician before I was able to solve the AC issue and he spoke to them for me, helped me find the right one, and wrote down a note for what to say and gave me advice on how to handle the next situation. He is the son of a preacher and helped me with my anxiety. He only got $49 dollars for doing this and really did seem to do it out of the kindness of his heart. This is the company you should use when you really need help. They actually care. The customer service representative even went above and beyond to let me know if I was going to be able to get a follow up visit by calling at a little past 5, something he didn’t have to do but did anyways. Eventually after the electron got done the house is now cool and operational. This could have been a nightmare but this exceptional service changed that. Thank you mark!!!!

When our heater suddenly stopped working during the recent cold weather in Margate, I was really stressed, but the team at Filterbuy came through for us. My tech, Wes, was a huge help and made the whole process easy. Once they confirmed that our old heater had completely died out, they moved quickly and had everything fixed the same day. I truly appreciated how fast and efficient they were when we needed heat the most.

It's a package unit on a townhouse (2 stories)

Service tech goes on roof inspected and comes down, to tell my Uncle that the fan motor for blower is bad needs to be replaced. Going to be $1600 to replace. Thankfully my Uncle called me. I have a a/c company I use, so I called them. They went out inspected and fixed in one day for $200. The motor was fine and works as it should. But the fins on blower broke off. So they replaced (squirrel cage) and all is well.

Im certain the tech seen older people and tried to take advantage. Be very skeptical of this company.

They answered my call and scheduled me right away. They were on time fixes the issue I had and my units are working perfectly ever since.

Hoffman & Nixon AC is the Best! It is hard to find people you know and trust and this company is like having a family member in the business. Shelby in the office is easy to speak with, understands your concerns and dispatches someone right away to assist us whenever we need help or even routine maintenance (highly recommend the plan). Today Mike C. Arrived right on time as booked, and was extremely thorough servicing our unit. Mike took the time to discuss routine maintenance which I could do myself to continue the health and longevity of our AC unit.
