Originally when I called to get a quote they didn’t want to do any kind of small jobs (I wanted my shower rerouted). In the end I ended up replacing my shower tile because I truly hated my shower. To a regular persons eye (including myself) it seemed to be a decent job. I was told that the color of the grout will come to one color and be even. That never happened. The tile was installed incorrectly as my shower does not drain properly. The water pools in all the corners of the shower. You can also see how the shower is not leveled. My shower actually looks worse than what the builder had put in to begin with. I really thought with all the good reviews that I got people who knew what they were doing and ultimately that’s just not the case. So this is my warning to anyone who wants a simple job that this company does nothing of the sort and only requires a job of $300+ in order to get anything done by them. I also believe that even for all the money I spent it was not worth it.

Today Cory, Destiny, & Sierra arrived promptly. They made my 19 yr old floors sparkle. My grout looks better than new. If you are in need you MUST call DTR. This team worked liked a well oiled machine. It’s obvious they enjoy their work. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽5 ⭐️ for sure.

I wouldn’t really hesitate to recommend DTR Tile repair, my home tiles has discontinued from the market, at the same time I have some broken tiles at the living room, Tommy and his helpers made an incredible picture frame refreshed the area look..!! outstanding customer service.

Tommy came in , evaluated my needs, offered options.
When I decided to have work done, Tommy and his son were here when scheduled. This hard working Duo took my 16 year old tile and made it look brand new. I have light grey grout which had become dingy over the years...no amount of cleaning worked.
Tommy and son came in, repaired my tiles and sealed them with a colored sealer.....the floors look brand new.
This is a great family business.

Our friends recommended Dr. Tile. We are extremely happy with the outcome. Joey and Ty were so terrific. I ask a lot of questions and they answered them without complaint. I still cannot believe the difference with my floor. The floor was so pretty I didn't want to walk on it. Again, OUTSTANDING job and we will be using their services again.

I hired Dr. Tile to inspect my floor and recommend ways to improve its appearance since it often looked dirty. They performed a haze removal, but after the job, my floor now has very visible streak marks, making it look significantly worse than before. Despite my concerns, there was no responsibility taken, no attempt to remediate, and no follow-up from the company. I'm very disappointed with the lack of quality and customer care.

The DTR Team is highly professional and knowledgeable in tile restoration. They recently restored and sealed ceramic tile floors in my home and it looks amazing, like new! The team executed the project with efficiency too. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. Job well done!

Had grout cleaned color seal done 11/2022 did a good job had some bumps during job. Owner and wife came with crew to correct the color seal. Had some other repairs also. Good job finishing off tile backsplash. Use a steam bissel pad cleaner no detergent. But had to repaint a lot of places. Thankfully left paint jars for touch ups. But all in all doesn’t last as long as hoped.

Depending on conditions, with proper maintenance, sealer can last for years.” Attached photos one photo of area hardly walked on others have had use. But just two people living here. So doesn’t last as long as hoped. Now year half later think the grout needed cleaned better first then color seal, like just covered dirty grout with paint!

DTR did excellent work sealing the grout for our tile floors, showers, and backsplash. They were very professional, and had a very competitive price.

I was so happy with the results of their work three years ago that I asked them to help me in my new home as well. They did an amazing job cleaning and making my tired old tiles look new. They also regrouted my master shower and put in a new stone floor. It looks fantastic! The family business is run very efficiently and all employees are very personable and eager to please. I would definitely recommend them.

These guys are top of the line. The President of the company came to our house and gave us a great estimate. A few days later, as agreed, another courteous, professional, highly competent young man came and cleaned and re-grouted and re-bonded our showers and bathroom floors... spic and span, just gorgeous. 100% improvement. We are totally happy with these guys; you will be too!

DTR did an excellent job! They put a new floor in the master bath shower and redid all the grout as a well as cleaned and redid the grout on all the tile throughout the house. The guys arrived on time, were efficient, polite and did a wonderful job cleaning up. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Super impressed with Joel and Dylan - they fixed my loose and hollow tiles, cleaned everything, recovered and matched grout and sealed. I have a brand new floor! They moved furniture and put it back and thoroughly cleaned up. Price was reasonable - I’m really happy!

I entered “poor repair company” into Angie’s List and a couple of other search engines and this company called me (I didn’t contact them- they called me unsolicited).
Their sales associate came out and gave me a written quote for $8,600. (Again, they called me, I didn’t call them) but I thought that quote sounded rather high.
I contacted 2 other companies who came in far, far cheaper one was $4,800 and the third company did the job for $2,000! Less than 1/4th of this company’s price!!

OUCH!

That’s a HUGE difference, and then they also offered to redo my patio deck for an additional $5,800 (which does not need to be done).
This company is out to make money, a LOT of it, so do your bank account a favor and get a quote from a couple other companies and you’ll see these guys are so ridiculously expensive.
For the price quoted I would think they are resurfacing my pool britely, using real diamonds. 4+ TIMES as expensive as what I paid- and now my pool is gorgeous!

less than a week after FPI put a surface on my pool, guests recommended a great pool company to resurface my pool...and it was not Family Pools Inc.. I replied...' I already had it done by FPI'. I am very unhappy with my pool surface, I am unhappy with the tile job and the pump leaked from day one. They said they would fix it and never showed up. The pump had to be replaced at my expense because Frank installed it improperly and therefore it sat in rainwater... This company has been my worst nightmare. I wish I had never called this company

Nicole is the heart and soul of family pools . So polite and very intelligent. The crews all did their jobs to perfection. I’ve been in construction for 30 years in nyc and can not thank them enough for the professionalism and hard work. Thank you family pools.

If you're looking to hire this company for work on your pool, do yourself a HUGE favor and look elsewhere! Customer service is the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered in my lifetime! The office manager Nicole, is the most incompetent person I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Calls will go unanswered, lies will be told ,etc.. With a name like Family Pools, you’d think they’d treat you like, you know, Family... Not even close. Our pool was the worst ship ever, all of the marcite was completely gone. The pool was leaking through many cracks and was covered in black mold. Family Pools completely renovated the pool and now its a brand new pool. We choose to do pebble tech and it is great. 1 month and we have not added any water to it. It will be going to salt in another week. You should get these guys to put in your pool or redo your old one. Hands down they are the best in the pool business.

I have been dealing with family pools for a long time since 2015. I have never been more happier with everyone there. Especially Nicole, every time. I Needed something that had to deal with the pool she was always there to help me and my family out with any issues. I can always count on her and the rest of the pool team to be their. I’m very thankful for having them. I know when I was making a decision about our pool and the service I got the right ones . Thank you again Family Pools . Y’all are truly a blessing.
