The office manager Nichole was amazing. She was always willing to answer any of my questions. And mid way through the remodel I wanted to make some changes to the finish look and she was always kind and did what ever it took to make me happy. Finished product looks amazing. Just like I envisioned the project. The only thing I would say that ther I had to be patient with the company. These are trying times and peope are getting sick. They fell behind on the start up date but I totally understood. But I think most companies are trying thier best. So final word is they are a very trustworthy company.

Wow!! This will be my second review regarding the work by Family Pools Inc. I recently had my entire Pool Deck resurfaced by Family Pools. OMG!! What a beautiful job!! Cesar , and Manning were the technicians that did the work on this project. They did beautiful job. They were very professional , and not to mention very respectful throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough about them . They are definitely an asset to the company. I would also like to make mention about Alex who works in the office. She is the best!! You cannot ask for a better crew . I would always recommend Family Pools to anyone. The money that you pay is well worth it . This company also did the resurface of my pool last year and I loved the outcome.. Kudos to Family Pools!!😎

An absolute gem of a Company. From the first time Steve arrived to give me a quote, to the start of the demo with Manny and Ceasar, to the gentlemen from Pebble Concepts, to Alexandria and Nicole in the office, to Antonio and Brian, there couldn’t have been a better experience. A top notch Company that show their clients respect, understanding and knowledge from start to finish. To all of you, many thanks.

I’m very satisfied with my pool. Steve was very professional, giving me a quote in a timely fashion which was not the case with many of the other builders. Jose was a great project manger who kept me updated on the timeline of when my pool would be completed. There were no hidden costs and no attempts to pressure me to add extra features. My pool has been up and running for 5 months with no issues.

Family pools first sent out their B team which did a horrific job. We had to drain the pool and have their A team correct all of the errors. The pool is leaking and of course they are not responding, with the exception of the nasty receptionist. Horrible experience

Like many other reviewers, we had a very poor experience with this company. Fiona sold us on an "upgraded" concrete overpour (coping), instead of replacing the existing 2"x6" waterline tiles, to the tune of $5,000. The job is horrific. It is uneven (thick in spots, thin in others), dinged, dented, and cracked. Clearly the crew was inexperienced, and/or mixed the concrete improperly. When they pulled the foam forms off, the concrete came off also. Instead of using proper hand tools (watch any YouTube video), they used their fingers. We are so disappointed, and hate staring at it daily. They repeatedly used the owner's passing as an excuse for their subpar work. That is unfortunate, however, being in business myself, a company can't blame their poor workmanship on that. That is merely an excuse. If they couldn't do the job properly, they should have refunded the deposit they held for 6 months, and told us to go elswhere. We wish we never used this company. We don't even know how to fix the terribly unsightly pool remodel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Words cannot capture the happiness we feel with our new backyard. Everyone involved with Family Pools was timely, professional, and friendly. They kept us informed every step of the way. Highly recommend!!

Family pools resurfaced and replaced the glass blocks in the spa, and painted my deck. Everyone was very professional and polite and did an outstanding job. We had issues with the glass blocks cracking ( not there fault but the manufacturer), they never hesitated to replace them. I would refer and use them again.

Family Pools added a spa to our existing pool, resurfaced our pool and added overlay pavers to our decking. It was a long process but so worth it as everything is beautiful. I would highly recommend Family Pools for your pool resurfacing project.

Finally 2 weeks ago resurfacing done. The color is Miami Blue. Was surprised the pool was being emptied out without shutting off the pool. Then when the final finish happened and pool took three days to fill up. When family pool turned the pool back on it would not shut off for days. Family Pool had to return because they removed all the parts but no one told me that the pieces were removed. After family pool added the missing parts backwards I had to finally get my pool man to fix it instead. Don't expect chemicals to be added to the pool that's on you. I just finished adding $250 of chemical to balance the pool in February. I didn't expect that family pool would not add all the chemical needed to balance the pool water. Set aside more money out of your pocket to pay the pool man to add the chemicals that family pool do not provide. Two weeks later I noticed around the pipe not enough caulking there is a small leak on plastic cover on the pool wall. Looks like it either is installed incorrectly or not tightening enough. The plastic cover is right at the stairs see pictures.

Let me begin by saying, those who know me, would say I always set my expectations too high...and this is very true. Family Pools, Inc is a well oiled machine. From start to finish, we had no issues. And their employees go above and beyond to ensure the customer does not have any issues whatsoever. It truly reminds me that there still are professional businesses and this business has an extra bonus, and that's its employees! Kudos! I have also recommended Family Pool, Inc to my neighbors, and they were extremely satisfied with the work they performed. I also recommended them to my Mom, and once again they did not disappoint.
Wish all businesses were like this one. Give them a call and tell them Linda Smith recommended them.

I cannot say enough good things about our recent pool renovation experience with Frank and his team at Family Pools. From start to finish these guys are top notch. I am extremely fussy and hard to please but these guys knocked it out of the ballpark. Every step of the way was explained and any questions I had were explained in detail and without any attitude. I would highly recommend Family Pools for any pool renovations, new installs or repairs. The estimate I was given was explained in detail and did not change. I was advised in the beginning if they found any hollow spots that there would be additional cost. Thank god there wasn’t but all possible up charges were thoroughly explained so there wasn’t any surprises. We are looking forward to enjoying our new backyard oasis thanks to Family Pools!

For the love of God get a lawyer to review the contract and explain it before you sign anything. Make sure you drive all the way to the showroom and pick out the tile IN PERSON. The pictures in the catalog do not look the same as in real life. They will NOT show you a sample of the tile before installing. If you are not there and they start installing it and the tile turns out to look different than the picture you will be charged an extra $3,000 to replace it. It has not even been six months and already we have large white stains forming on the tile under the waterfall. The level of customer service is not what I expected for $27,000 of work to repair and resurface the pool area. Did I mention getting a lawyer to review the contract? It is not written to help you. Our next door neighbors had their pool and deck area resurfaced and repaired for much less, in a shorter amount of time and with better results. Do your research. Get references from people you trust, not just reviews online. Have a lawyer review your contracts.

Working with Family Pools was a wonderful experience. The process was seamless, even when unexpected issues arose. Alexandria and Fiona were fantastic, guiding us through each step and providing clear explanations. We highly recommend Family Pools without reservations.

We love our updated pool! Family pools came in and made our pool into a real spa experience. Our backyard is now a relaxing destination! The staff in the office and the crew that came out our home were always helpful. The work ethic of everyone from Sales to final team member that came out to ensure that our pools was working and that we were fully satisfied was incredible! I can't recommend them enough!!!

Family Pools did a phenomenal job refinishing my pool. I signed a contract in August 2022 with a pool builder to install a pool with an approximate completion date of 4 to 6 months later. Sixteen months later, it still was not done. This builder would not show up when scheduled and his workmanship was horrible. I couldn't take the frustration any more. I hired Family Pools in December 2023 to take over after the original builder seemed to abandon the project before completion. But, they could not start until April as their work schedule was 16 weeks out.
The pool was leaking, there were algae stains on the pool floor, and installing the stair tiles was omitted by the original builder. In January (last month), Family Pools contacted me saying they could perform the work that my pool needed, as their crews had time between jobs. I was more than happy to hear that the work would start three months sooner than expected.
The workers began showing up almost every day, including Saturdays. They had to refinish the pool as it only had a quarter inch of plaster, instead of the standard half inch. This contributed to the skimmer leaking and possibly the returns leaking down the road.
Family Pools also installed the water heater, salt chlorinator generator, handrail, pool light, and repainted the deck with the color that it should have been.
The pool was completed on February 3rd, two months ahead of when work was supposed to start.

I wanna say thank you to the staff at family pools. All of this started with a recommendation which I think was the best decision I’ve made with this company. My condolences go out to the family the owners of family pool they still deliver it with no problem thanks to the technicians And the crew who worked on my pool and most of all I want to give thanks to Alex for helping me make some decisions on style and give me choices. You guys are the best you have a customer for life.Hopefully, you can do my next house. There is not enough stars five is not good enough. My word is my bomb. Called for a pool heater estimate Feb 6th. I was then told it would be 1 or 2 weeks for them to come out and that they would calll me. I called again Feb 20th and got their answering service. I left a detailed message. I heard nothing back. Called again today. 3 weeks after the first call. Talked to Alex. I was told they are too busy to do estimates at this time. A return phone call stating this anytime prior to the 3 weeks wasting my time would have been appreciated. Not very professional.

Its a pleasure to give this review because Family Pools have really done a wonderful job renovating our pool and deck.
Granted we signed the contract months ahead to lock in our spot but once the date was scheduled, the contractors for Family Pools were right on time. Each step of the renovation from tear down to plastering to painting went smoothly. The guys were on time, respectful of our property and cleaned up where we sis not have to go behind them to clean anything.
The end result is astonishing and we love our new pool.

Highly skilled workers, particularly Brian, demonstrated exceptional competence in their work. However, we were not aware of the varying pricing associated with the resurfacing colors until attempting to change the color. Despite a few issues that were resolved, we are overall satisfied with the service.
We still regret not opting for a darker resurfacing color, which was our primary motivation for the procedure. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend the company and emphasize the importance of thoroughly questioning all aspects of the services provided.

This review is long over due,,, in May we decided to have our 12 year old pool resurfaced and interviewed several pool companies. Fiona from Family Pools met with us and was very professional and knowledgable. After much consideration we contracted with Family Pools which in hindsight site was an EXCELLENT decision!!Alex in the office is a most valuable asset, she has outstanding people skills and is a pleasure to work with. After all was said and done Family Pools went above and beyond!!
