One of the best experiences I’ve had from beginning to end. HVAC stopped blowing cool air Saturday afternoon. I called several places and couldn’t get a hold of nobody until I called Veterans Air. The guy was really courteous and advised me on getting the membership (which I got) and scheduled a technician to come that same days in a couple of hours. The technician came and advised us on the options. He fixed the issue in less than an hour. Very happy with the experience and will recommend to anyone

The technician, Agbor Tanjong, was incredibly professional and patient from start to finish. He took the time to clearly explain what the issue was and walked me through exactly what he was going to do throughout the entire repair process. I really appreciated the good communication—I was never left guessing.

Beyond the technical expertise, I was impressed by his respect for my home. He was meticulous, using work shoe covers before he stepped inside and keeping the work area tidy.

Nice people, great customer skills and came out on Superbowl Sunday! Was careful and explained everything. Middle of the scale pricing with a year guarantee! Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive. Well equipped and honest. Plumbers are not cheap and you do get what you pay for.

We've used Veteran twice now for different plumbing projects, both times have been a similar experience; extremely expensive. We had our water heater replaced on our 1,000sqft house which they quoted at $3200, but then if you join their customer loyalty program, it came out to $2900. It was far more than we anticipated and, in hindsight, we should have passed and gone with a different, equally reputable company that quoted us lower (but when you don't have hot water, you get desperate). The second was a simple mainline blockage. It happens once a year for us; old pipes. A different company came out last time, but since we had signed up for the customer loyalty program, we used Veteran. The previous company charged us $700 to run the camera and clear the line. Veteran quoted us $1500. We politely declined service, but then they called their manager who agreed to $700. The completed service was a fraction of what we had done previously, quite literally (and in the words of the gentleman) "just enough for water to get through". It's like once we paid the money, they didn't care to do anything short of the bare minimum. Throughout both times, they constantly tried to upsell us even as we continuously stated we aren't in a financial position to spend $5k+ for pipe repair or additional work. Just all in all, neither time we've used them has it been a great customer experience and both times it has been considerably more expensive than previous comparable work or comparable quotes.

Plumbing review: Used for toilet issue, but will never use again. The service tech was adamant to sell me subscription service. After kindly saying I wasn’t interested more than a few times, I said no more aggressively. The tech then several times wanted me to purchase an expensive camera inspection. I asked him to attempt to fix the issue, but he made it pretty obvious he wasn’t going above and beyond because I wasn’t buying the camera service.

Upon completion of the service, the tech tried to sell me the subscription again. He then found family members in the home and started selling to them. This frankly got uncomfortable. I nearly considered calling the police as the man would not leave my home without selling over and over.

Two days later, the toilet stopped working again. I truly believe he didn’t try because I didn’t buy his extra services.

$500 down the drain (although not really because the toilet won’t flush.)

The plumbing technician was personable and educational, however did not fix my issue. We had two separate issues serviced on the same day, and less than 24 hours later both issues were back. We called and they sent the same technician back out, who was unable to tell us why one of the issues was occurring. We paid almost $700 to still not have our issues resolved. I wish a more experienced plumber would have come out the second time we called. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

I was scheduled for the installation of a new AC unit. Willie & Alex arrived on time, said hello and introduced themselves, and went right to work. They said it would be between 3-4 hours and it sure did. They proceeded to show me how to use the new thermostat, much better than the old one.

All in all, I would highly recommend Veterans Air. The entire staff was very friendly & efficient. I want to thank Mike, Willie & Alex for a job well done.

After having an honest inspection from Veterans Air telling me they thought it was a solid system. I had an issue on a Thursday night and I called them on Friday only to discover the Trane unit I had another leak that was major. They gave me a price on three different units. I selected the middle of the road unit. They came out on Saturday and started just before 8AM and left at 1:30PM completely finished and working great. Victor and his guy did this without any help. They cleaned up great and he was very particular that I was totally happy which I was. He also repaired mistakes the previous company made that were not to code. I could not be happier. I’m very lucky I did not have a fire from the sloppy job the electrical had been installed. Same for the ducting into and out of the old unit. You can see in the pictures how it had previously been installed. I totally recommend these professionals. They say what they’re going to do and they do what they say.

Would give veterans air zero stars if I could. There are a lot of plumbing companies out there and I would HIGHLY advise to stay away from Veterans Air. They installed 2 brand new toilets for me. The first one they broke the main shut off to the road when they installed it and I had to wait the entire weekend for the part to come in for the shut off for them to be able to finalize installing the toilet. The second, I had NO idea until 2 years later, was installed improperly. Turns out, it had been leaking since the suction ring valve had zero suction and was not installed properly. It has been leaking for over 2 years and Veterans is not willing to help with the water damage that it has caused hidden under my floor for all these years.

I have also had family members that have had to replace several things from using veterans air for plumbing. Would advise against them at all costs.

I will adjust this review if I have a better outcome with them, and they take responsibility for their actions, but as of now I do not and want others to be aware of the situation they are entering with them. Also good luck getting ahold of someone, they aren't good at getting people to respond to your calls.

Very affable yet honest service. Attendant was on time and candid and did not make us feel like we were being ripped off. Attendant was thorough and knowledgeable about options. Appreciated the veteran discount. Needed work done as part of an inspection of my home for closing. This was top notch work on my toilet bolt and wax seal. He also did an inspection on my flange which did not need repair I would definitely use him again as well as the company. Top tier work!!

Horrible service. The only adequate worker is Damian. He is amazing. Every other person that had come in for service was a disaster. One of the employees asked for my number and was yelling slurs while working in my home. The next time, two guys messed up our electrical wiring so that our outlets didn’t work and the light switch to my room turned on everything in my bathroom. The next time when they came to install a new breaker, they did it wrong and didn’t tighten the screws enough so the breaker would pop whenever the oven was on. That was because it was stopping electrical fires constantly from happening because of their poor work. Another time we had them install lights in the two bedrooms. They instead broke a hole through my ceiling and started taking out the lights in the kitchen. Overall horrible experiences every time when Damian wasn’t the one working.

I'd like to thank Richard and Victor with Veteran Air for the amazing work here. Richard came out and diagnosed the system which I knew was ready to call it quits for good so it was no surprise. He went over all the options with me and we were able to choice the right system for the right price for my house. The very next day Victor came out with his crew, explained everything to me and got to work. Upgraded the wrong sized ducts for me and now I can truly feel a difference coming from the registers. Professional work, clean and looks great. New thermostat, ducts, surge protector and breaker on the outside unit and 10 years parts and labor warranty for peace of mind. The house actually gets cold now with the new efficient and highly rated condenser unit. Financing was available and Victor gave me the run down on everything afterwards. Really happy with Veteran Air. Thank you!!

Damein is a great electrical technician at Veteran Air. We hired him to troubleshoot our antiquated service panel. He recommended panel replacement as I expected he would since Noah apparently dropped its sister panel off the Ark. We have used his company in the past and he, as with all their techs. we have used in the past have been nothing short of stellar. You guys are awesome and will continue to have all our business. On a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being great, I would rate you at14.

During the recent cold snap our heater, rarely used here, decided to stop working. We called Veterans and they were able to send Michael Barber to us the same day. His straight forward, transparent, and informative approach helped us make a decision on which of the MANY companies that we had been researching for a maintenance plan. Thanks Michael!

What impressed me most is that he handled the entire job by himself — efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to detail. He showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the work was done right the first time.

It’s rare to find someone who works this hard and takes so much pride in their craftsmanship. The repair was done quickly, cleanly, and at a fair price. First, they made it a priority to diagnose and provide an immediate solution. The previous company was going to make me wait 5 days without AC. That’s not acceptable in Florida! Veterans suggested a temp solution but instead was able to get the part today vs the other company couldn’t get it for 5 days! I now have cold air blowing and my 3 dogs are super happy. Jake was super professional, polite, knew what he was doing and I’m thrilled with this company. You understand customers come first and you sure have delighted this one. Getting a maintenance plan with Veterans for sure! 💯

Huge thank you to Jose at Veteran Air! Another company (that recently bought out our prior maintenance provider) told us we needed a full AC replacement, a unit that would be $10K+ with “premium upgrades”, when the report simply notated dirty coils. It’s important to note, the appointment was scheduled for routine maintenance/cleaning as we’ve done for the past few years.

We decided to get a second opinion, and we’re so glad we called Veteran Air. Jose was honest, thorough, and transparent. He confirmed that a professional cleaning would resolve the issue and that a new unit is not necessary right now. No pressure and no upselling, just clear options and realistic solutions.

Because of Jose’s integrity, we’re moving forward with his recommendations and transferring our maintenance plan to Veteran Air. If you want an honest assessment, call Veteran Air and ask for Jose!
