would have arrived on time if it were not for the dispatchers incorrect address spelling. After arriving, the Lead surveyed the water heater and gave me several options. Since the unit was 20 years old, I opted to replace it. The estimated cost was reasonable and time was 3-4 hours from leaving to purchase unit and install... Time.. 3.35 hours.

Lead was courteous, informative, and respectful. I very much appreciated his expert suggestions while allowing me to make final decisions. Great Job!!

I had an emergency that needed same day repair. I called Roto Rooter and left a message with the operator and was told that someone would call me back soon. 2 1/2 hours later I called and was told the same thing. Well guess what? No one ever called me back. Thankfully I was able to find a local plumber that was eager to fix my issue.

The guy that came his name was Nick. He was amazing and thorough and did a fantastic job and you noticed that my wife had four kids and was very busy so he even cleaned the bathrooms when he was done absolutely fantastic customer service and work we would highly recommend in the future!

Dylan was extremely competent and was very good at explaining our situation. He demonstrated how our 60 year old cast iron pipes get clogged and gave us tips on how to reduce those clogs.
His work fixed our problems and things work great now.

About two years ago we had major plumbing issues. RR came and told me I needed a sewer pipe replaced. I told them to go ahead and take care of it as I was leaving town for a while. While working on it, they cut one of my irrigation lines. Luckily my irrigation guy was on site and told them what they had done. Their response to him was “we don’t need to worry about it as the owner is out of town and will never know”. Thankfully my irrigation guy didn’t accept their response and informed them that they would fix it while he watched. This week, about two years later, we had a similar sewer back up. Hesitatingly I called RR thinking it may be a related issue and it may be under warranty. RR came out to clean out and assess. They said they cleaned it out and charged me for it and then told me I would need $15,000-$20,000 in repairs. He quickly used the camera to “show” me all the problems. He wanted me to sign immediately and agree to have the work done. I told him I wanted a second opinion. Found a reputable plumbing company who has now fixed the problem for less than $3000 and said there are no major problems, and said the pipes had not been cleaned well at all. I would highly suggest for no one to use RR in the Sarasota area.

I grew up with contractors like Stanley steamer and Roto Rooter. Today they are the biggest rip offs. What happened to them? I asked for a quote to clear an underground gutter that is 10 feet from my house to a pond in the back yard and he wanted $1,499?? Are you kidding? $150 a foot? Water still goes through as well so it’s not even clogged.

I engaged RotoRooter a month ago for assistance with a toilet/shower/sink clog across three bathrooms. I was told that RR would come out again if the issue reoccured within 90days. A month later the same issue started again. This time the technician was David Soto who was excellent. He identified the root cause, explained and showed me what was happening. He then corrected the problem. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and competent. I’m very satisfied with his service. I gave 4 stars because I had to have RR come back in such a short period of time.

Setting up a service call was straightforward and service date was timely. On the scheduled day the service person, Reuben, contacted me with arrival time, which was very helpful. Throughout the service Reuben kept me informed about the procedures employed and the results. Once the problem was revealed, he promptly corrected the issue. He also provided helpful information and suggestions that will make future service more efficient. From scheduling to completion of service, everything was performed in a professional manner. Thank you Reuben and Roto Rooter for a job well done.

I called this company to work on a toilet leak on my master's bath in the second floor. 3 months later, the kitchen ceiling directly underneath that toilet starting to fall apart. I called Roto-Rooter to reassess the situation, and the technician stated that Roto-Rooter didn't lift the toilet, only repaired toilet components that they though were leaking. This company refused to honor their 6 month warranty.
Then I called 2 different companies, one to take care of the toilet leak and another one to mitigate the water damage. The plumbing technician said that the toilet was not removed 3 months ago and the wax ring was almost nonexistence. it was obvious that it caused the leak problem 3 months ago. The technician said that was very negligent of Roto-Rooter's technician not to lift the toilet and replace the wax ring "If there is a toilet leak, usually it's a faulty wax ring."
The flood repair company also agreed that Roto-Rooter failed to repair the original leak and it caused to slowly leak in the kitchen ceiling. After 3 months of constant water leak (every time we flushed the toilet), the ceiling couldn't hold it any more and started to come apart.
I was told that Roto-Rooter's manager was going to contact me but he never did. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

Had a clogged drain caused by a corroded, broken cast Iron Ptrap that needed the floor to be drilled through to fix. $6,400 estimate. Breaks our AC twice!! by leaving the exterior door open while he takes smoke breaks in his truck. 1st time the afternoon he started, the blower overheated and stopped working. AC Today came first thing in the morning and had it repaired and working before he arrived. 2 hours later I go to check, door is wide open and AC Blower is burnt out. He comes back from his break and I tell him what occurred and he asks if I am joking then just shrugs. Then while installing the drain to the tub he breaks the tub, we can shower but the tub will not hold water. Tells me the tub is old and I need a new one. Pictures included. $6,996 bill. I wish we had chosen the other company. Any other company! Now I am out almost $9000 and this is what I got.

6800.00 minimum on any job. Have a basement drain issue. This would be a replacement trap drain issue. They sent a service tech over who “couldn’t clear the drain” even though the water went down. Supposed blockage 4 inch’s in the pipe they could clear. They only will quote a 10ft pipe replacement even though it wasn’t necessary. Once tech couldn’t clear they sent a sales person over to try to sell a 7000.00 dollar job. Rip off no thanks!!

Roto-Rooter solved our problem with a broken sewer pipe. They arrived within an hour after we called to assess the situation and came back the next morning to repair the pipe. Many thanks to Giouvanni Sanabria for his help.

RR was responsive and efficient in handling my shower issue. And the office reps who called were super sweet.

This company is very very expensive DO Not Call this company they charged me 8,365 dollars to fix plumbing and it came undone flooding my yard and inside my neighbors house and when I called and the technician came back out and told me that it wasn’t his problem. The mobile home park I live in called LT Plumbing and they had to replace the faulty part roto rooter put in that came undone and they charged 2,386.33 and they did the same work and worked through all of the nastiness. So now you know who to call. The pictures so the blown up part and what it looked like when LT Plumbing finished.

I booked a Roto Rooter appointment online to fix my garbage disposal. Appointment was set, got a date and timeframe. The time came and went. I called and was told our plumber was on another job and will come as soon as he was done. An hour later, I rescheduled for the next morning. Lo and behold, the next morning, about an hour into the timeframe window, Roto Rooter called again to say the plumber would not be coming because he had a doctor's appointment. Needless to say, I cancelled and will not use them again. Very disappointed.

Invoice# 73-355665 3/23/23 Over charged, failed repair and no response to get failed repair fixed. I own multiple businesses in town. But nothing in the Plumbing department. I could hear a leak in my pipes so I had a professional company come out and find the leak. A pipe that comes out of my house and feeds my garage Spicket with water was leaking about one foot below the ground.
Called Roto Rooter, scheduled an appointment. They did show up on time. That’s why I did give them 2 stars. I showed the tech where it was leaking. The tech took a quick look and said it would be $789. 😳 I was pretty shocked so I repeated what he said with a question mark. To repair a fitting? He said yes I have to remove the dirt and may need to go get parts. In the pictures, You will see how much dirt we are talking about. I had to have water so I approved the repair.
He was here about 3 hours but probably worked on the pipe about an hour. His truck never left, he never had to get parts.
Not the best experience but not enough to complain about. Now we had water. The following week. I noticed water coming out of the ground in the same place as the repair. And I absolutely know there are no other pipes in that area. I called for service to get it repaired again. They said they would dispatch it and I have not heard back from them again.
