I just canceled my lawn and shrub treatments with TruGreen. Since starting their service in October 2024, I haven't seen any improvement—if anything, my lawn has gotten worse. Whatever they're spraying seems ineffective, either just water or improperly mixed. Meanwhile, my neighbors, who fertilize their lawns themselves, have beautiful, thriving grass. Very disappointed with the results.

Joel was very helpful and very knowledgeable. He explain the process and how it will help my lawn.

Sean was very pleasant. He had not been to our property before. We walked the lawn so I could explain some things and point out the weeds that needed to be addressed. It appeared that he did a very thorough job. Hope he is our tech again🙂

This is a review that had a weird start but ended with a Great finish. Yesterday was a day of multiple confusions. Service scheduled with 2 different technicians. Next notice came that the service was canceled. I called and spoke with a customer service rep, I believe Daisy. She was excellent. She offered advice and a plan which I followed. Shortly thereafter a technician Andres B showed up and serviced the yard. Next came a message that the service was canceled and could not be completed for the follow reasons. There were no posted reasons. I was confused. Next, I get notice that today would be another service? "Aeration". I was concerned about my sprinkler lines. Again I contacted customer service. I was taken care of by Alexandria. If she were graded on a scale of 1-10 she would be a 15. She also was excellent. Today Elijuaha was the technician. He knocked at the door but I was already at work. He took the time to call me. We discussed the flags I placed so the sprinkler system wouldn't get punctured. He took time to tell me, "I appreciate you sir" I was Blown Away.
To the Corporate your people are great the automated system not so much. To end this I would say once all the confusion was cleared up the Service turned out to be excellent. Thank you Daisy, Andres, Alexandria and Elijuhia.

Regular customer, shrubs are dying. TG is really trying to solve the issue. Will keep updating until my greens are back to life.

I wasn’t home at time of service but was advised by my daughter that they did a good job.

Mario was very polite and cordial. He also gave me some tips for my grass.

I highly recommend TruGreen services.My front lawn was full of weed and when the lawn worker comes around,I have noticed worsing of the weed.With just two tx of TruGreen,my lawn is looking great.Thank you!.

Well I had a man approach my elderly mother in the middle of the day saying he just moved in nextdoor. That of course is a tactic apparently used frequently by this company. He wanted to sell her all types of things for the yard. She told him I take care of the yard and he'd have to talk to me.when I got home later in the day, I called the man at 4 PM and 5 PM to no answer of course. He never got back to me after leaving 2 messages either. I called the company the next day and they offered us a special rate. That I guess was my first mistake. Well they did come on time, the only plus, btw and did some spray, apparently for weeds. The man that was there sold me this thing that they do around your yard where it makes plugs, and chemical is injected. Also btw they don't use the chemical in Florida but the still charge the same $160. I had an experienced lawn professional look at the yard and said the grass is burnt and the plug machine was apparently not working correctly since it only did like every 4th hole. And tore out newer sod.So I called because they have a Weed Free Guarantee and there were weeds everywhere. They sent a man out that was gone before I could even get outside, we were told that would be next months treatment would take care of it. Well 2 months later I've canceled Trugreen because my lawn is destroyed. I called and spoke with the manager, which I wanted to come see what I was talking about. He told me some yards take more time and some yards have weeds they can't kill totally. He never came and looked at the damage either. #trugreensucks

Almost 6 months in with Tru Green Ft. Lauderdale and grass looks horrible. The weeds are out of control. They said the weeds would shrivel up and die but they got thicker. I think they spray water when they come out......a total scam.

Aside from the Misquote Abatement fella, Robert was the first one who did a complete lawn job finally out front and more importantly including the backyard.
Very much appreciated.
Now we just need the plants & shrubs addressed properly. But Robert and the Misquote tech earned 5 Stars themselves.

Great service from Tru Green lawn professionals If you don’t have a lawn service look no further these guys are the best they treat your lawn like it’s their own oh yeah my lawn have never looked so good

After just 3 moths this is how great my new backyard is looking. Outstanding service. Will definitely recommend your services to anyone.

We used their service for more than a year now. We already putted NEW grass 2 times since we moved because the first one already died. It look like when you pay for their service they just come and spray whatever they have to spray and that’s it. They don’t care at all if your grass looks good or not.
The front yard grass is not green at all and in the back yard we have almost half that is yellow. Do you think that any of the tech coming to spray even knocked at the door or called us to say hey your grass must need this or that to look better ? Nope they come spray and leave. That’s it. I really don’t recommend.

BEWARE Absolutely Horrible Service
I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with TruGreen. I signed up for their yearly lawn care plan, paid in full, and received one initial service that went smoothly. After that, everything fell apart.
A few days later, a TruGreen representative showed up unannounced at my home trying to upsell a service called "aeration" (which I had never agreed to or requested). He somehow processed a $147 charge using my card without my full consent, and immediately started the work without my approval. I never signed anything, never confirmed, and certainly never authorized this visit.
When I contacted TruGreen to report this, they claimed they had no record of any additional service being scheduled. I even sent them video footage from my Ring doorbell showing the men doing the work. This man not only came without my permission to my home my back lights ruined which are installed in the grass and along with the sprinklers. Total damage , I was told a supervisor would call me. It's been over three weeks, and I have received no call or follow-up.
Instead of resolving the $147 unauthorized charge, they refunded my entire yearly plan, which tells me they know this situation was mishandled yet still, no one has addressed the issue or explained how a random employee can charge my card and perform unapproved work.
I am beyond frustrated. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want surprise visits, unauthorized charges, and zero accountability.

My dollar weeds seemed to have been leaving the lawn now everywhere I look I see them plus the other vine type weeds. Very disappointed.

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER use TruGreen again!!! I have stamped concrete driveway with a dark brown perimeter along with a dark brown mail box and fence. Three times they have over sprayed these areas leaving a white spray residue all over everything brown. It looks awful! I was told by another tech that it means the chemicals are not being mixed well. The first time they send someone to clean it up they used a chemical which took the paint off the driveway. My husband ended up paying someone to come out and pressure clean it. We were assured this would not happen again. Supposedly the techs are trained to stay a foot away from the edge of the driveway and fence, etc. Right before Christmas we had the driveway painted to repair the paint that was removed when TruGreen used a chemical on it. Four days before Christmas a tech came out to spray and did it again! I did not receive the recorded call that they were coming. I called the local branch and they said they would be closing for the holidays and could not send anyone out! We were having Christmas at our house with 30 people. The driveway looked awful. For the second time we paid to have it pressure cleaned. If I had not prepaid for the year I would have cancelled the service! Again, I was assured this would not happen again and they would definitely call me before the next spray. A few months later and for the 3rd time, they came out to spray, no phone call and did it again! As per usual with customer service the obligatory apology and we will have someone call you, blah, blah blah. I called numerous times. A few weeks later I pull in my driveway from work to find a TruGreen truck in front of my house. Finally, or so I thought, someone was here to clean up the mess. No, it is a tech getting ready to fertilize my trees and leave a bill on my door for $60. He didn't know anything about cleaning up my driveway! I sent him away. Another two weeks of phone calls and finally a guy comes out to clean my driveway with a new chemical that doesn't remove the paint. "Why don't you just pressure clean it?" I asked. It worked the other two times my husband paid someone to do it. "I wouldn't know where to get my hands on a pressure cleaner." he answers. Really? I'm pretty sure Home Depot rents them by the day. Needless to say, the new chemical didn't work. He said he would be back with a pressure cleaner. Then he drove off into the sunset never to be seen again. Thank goodness my service contract is up. And after all of that...my yard is still full of dollar weeds! Never ever ever ever ever will I use this company again!

They keep you informed of your scheduled appointment and also share what the technician did and what he recommends. Excellent customer service and an awesome app to schedule payments and services.

This business is a scam. I had problem with keeping my lawn green so I hired truegreen. The problem has worsen since I signed up with them. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to speak with a supervisor but there is no way of speaking with any manger or supervisor on the phone. And they never call you back. Two times they scheduled a supervisor to come to my house and they kept postponing it without my knowledge!
