Update: Still loving my pool service!!
Daisy has been servicing it for a few months now and she's doing GREAT! Always clean and chemicals are in line. Very happy!

Love my pool service company, AquaServ!! Andrew M was our last service tech and he was great. Due to some changes in their schedules, we now have Erik S and I am just as happy with him. They must train the techs well as our pool looks amazing every day!! <3

Called Aqua Serv Pool service and explained pool was losing water and they sent Kim the tech out to inspect pool and within an hour she had found the leak and also pointed out a faulty gasket on pool pump flow selector. Few days later we received a written quote from their office for epoxy repair and price was fair. Agreed to the repair and a few days later Kim showed up and went to work. A few hours later pool was fixed and no more leak. They also threw in gasket replacement on flow selector at no extra charge. If I need any more pool work they will get my business. Family owned and operated business.And my grandkids will appreciate it.

I’ve worked with a lot of pool companies through the years, and Bryan and his team moved effectively, efficiently and with the highest grade commercial pool equipment. He is the only one I’ve seen so far lifting flood zone pools! He’s amazing!!

I’ve been a ClearTech customer for over 2 years. They had been servicing my house when I purchased it so I figured I’d give them a shot to keep the business. Since then I’ve never had an issue with my pool not being perfect and ready to swim in every time I’m there. They have installed a heat pump, variable speed pump, salt system, and automation, and the installations were all done very well. I especially like Nicole in the office that books service calls when I need them. She is professional and prompt in addressing my needs. This week I had Matt T at the house to fix a wire that was chewed by an animal. He arrived on time and kept me informed of the repair when I wasn’t able to be there. Yes, they’ve had some turnover with the cleaning techs, but they always show up and the pool always looks great!

Many months we are out of town relying entirely on their service. Our technician, Ryan is a true pro. He is knowledgeable, respectful and hard working. I’m very conflicted with this company. KONSTANTIN, my tech has to be the most amazing most considerate pool Tech a company can ever have. This company has change Routes so many times and I have had so many different Pool techs. Not one could ever stand a chance with the service that Konstantin Provides. Other Techs Have arrived at my house while my daughter and wife were enjoying their time in the pool. Both my daughter and wife have always felt uneasy or just uncomfortable being looked at by strange men. Konstantin, Is so polite and respectful, he makes my wife and daughter Feel safe when I’m not home. My animals love him, he takes time to play for a minute with my dog and cat. He is just an overall lovable human being. He’s almost like part of the family. On top of that, no one has ever been able to keep my pool clean like he has. Why I’m so conflicted is that number one, your prices are getting out of hand. Number two, I had somebody come out to fix a leak in one of my PVC pipes. It’s been leaking ever since. One of your prior Techs notice the leak, they called in to the office to report the leak. I received a phone call from one of your sales team to see if they could attempt the repair. When I told them gladly, please do, it was from one of your Techs, They immediately hung up as if they were not making a sale. On top of that when the Tech was fixing the leak, I’m not sure what he did, but he bypassed all the jets. Now I only have one jet that works. I’m thinking about changing my service Currently, but it would break my heart not to see Konstantin Once a week. Oh, lastly. Your company sold me a Dorado Pool vacuum that only lasted a year Before it stopped working. I reported the unit to your office. Somebody did come out and take the unit and brought it back and told me that it is no longer warranty and wanted to charge me an additional 400 bucks To replace it. I know all businesses, no matter what have issues. But, you asked for a review. So there you have it.

We got a new pool put in by Clear Tech Pools this year and they did an absolute amazing job from start to finish! Joe & Ryan helped us design our dream backyard, it turned out better then imagined. We could not ask for a better company to tackle such a big project and will recommend to all our friends and family. We are very happy with the pool service as well.

Adding more pictures. The pool continued to be green. It is resolved now, but I decided to discontinue service. Mary Jo (?), Nick D. and a few others did try to provide good customer service. I was issued credits--after some time of receiving calls for payment, being told it would be looked into then being called again for payment never having gotten the promised follow up--and ultimately paid for a month and change of service (pool has been clean since later in the week of October 18th). The experience overall has been stressful to the point that it's easier for me to handle on my own (which it really isn't and I would have preferred to have a service). Leaving the review at two stars. Great when it was great but communication is poor and possibly high staff turnover on the techs? Not sure why the pool started having issues when it had been fine.

Initially when I reached out to Clear Tech, I was really impressed with their service. My mom had used them for years, and they gave me a few months of the more expensive monthly service at the lower price. Pool looked great. Things fell apart in May. I needed leak detection, and somehow wires got crossed a few times and that didn't happen for two months. Fine. Wasn't thrilled about it and didn't know it had happened or that there were any results until I called about a week ago because my pool has been green for weeks. I've been going out, brushing it, and questioning whether I need to put chemicals in.

In my opinion, if I pay for pool service, particularly for the higher priced service, which I have been paying that list price for essentially all the months service has been shotty, I shouldn't be out brushing my pool and uncomfortable/unable to swim because it's green. Called. Someone came, I guess, but it's still green. I think they have too many accounts to manage.

You can tell a lot about a company by how well they handle a challenging situation.

We recently had our circa 1971 pool refinished by Clear-Tech pools in St. Petersburg, FL. I am a licensed contractor and have remodeled two pools in the past before starting this project.

As a result of that experience, I can tell good work from bad. I am very pleased and happy with our renovated pool; the project turned out beautifully. We chose Clear-Tech because they have been servicing our pool for years, and Eric, our maintenance tech does a great job. The construction department led by Ryan did a wonderful job. Chris and Ryan both visited the job site to check on each milestone of the process. As with any construction project, we ran into some unknown issues as we chipped the 5 layers of old plaster off the pool shell. But the team at Clear-Tech handled each one and was fair with pricing on the associated change orders.

We did have one major issue; the pool was plastered the wrong color as a result of a mistake the salesperson made, but Ryan stood behind the issue, and they re-plastered the pool to the correct color at no cost to us. Not only that, Ryan gave us a free Durado pool cleaner to offset the added cost of refilling the pool with water a second time. Honestly, had I chosen as smaller pool company, and they had made the same mistake, I would have never seen them again. But not Clear-Tech, they made things right and made sure my wife and I were happy.

One last piece of advice for anyone doing a construction project in Florida. Make sure you are on site for every step of the process. Florida contractors right now are blessed with more work than they can handle, so when issues come up on a project of any type, you need to be there to answer questions. Even offer to make a Home Depot run for materials if needed. Otherwise, short cuts are taken and workmanship suffers. Yea, as a paying customer, we shouldn’t have to do that; but in the end, we want a good job. When contractors are busy and don’t have clear direction or don’t have the proper materials they need, they make do with what they have to get the job completed as fast as possible. I wasn’t home when the pool was plastered the first time; if I had been, I would have caught that the color was wrong. In the end, everything look’s great and we highly recommend Clear-Tech Pools.

As someone who’s constantly traveling, I love how dependable ClearTech Pools is. They keep me updated after every service, and I always come home to a clean, perfectly balanced pool. Best decision I’ve made for my home in St. Pete! I wanted to give a specific shoutout to Matt Stir! Very kind, and to the point when it comes to what my pool needs.

3rd week in a row that the pool company came, threw powder in the pool and left. If I could rate them a zero I would. Our pool is green and we haven’t been able to swim for weeks. Pretty crazy when the pool company comes and there are still leaves and algae at the bottom of your pool and the top of the water has debris floating around. They will also charge you for a new filter and never replace it. Oh they won’t return calls either.

It should be ZERO STARS. I have been forced to use clear tech through the property management company I rent my home from for the past 8 months. I have had nothing but problems since day one. Pool was green when I first moved in and they told management company it was clear, (lie and took their money) Their techs don’t show up, or they look at the pool, take a pic and leave. I pay $150/mo and my pool always has algae in it. I’ve gave them multiple chances. Today was the last straw. Their tech showed up, empty skimmer basket, threw a couple tabs on the skimmer instead of in the chlorinator they added when they did the new pump, and he left. He didn’t brush pool again, yet the walls are all green. I immediately called the office. He came back, acted like a jerk to me. I watched him brush half the pool and then he left. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY. Photos below are from today after the second time coming back. Garbage job and they take no pride in their work. I have my sons birthday party Saturday and will be going out to buy a brush and do it myself. Also, they still haven’t cleaned the cartridge filter in months.

I have a rental property they just got the contract for my home and this is what has happend i posted a regression in the color and cleanliness of the pool. The photos are jumbled for some reason but im sure you can figure it out.

Update. Just getting worse I called and was told they would double up on my service Friday and nobody even showed up for 2 weeks now. You can't find my name because I rent. Thanks for doing nothing. A quality pool is who the owners had before and they are way better.

Another update. This post was made in April then updated now again. After calling and calling they still have not fixed my water or straightened it out. The people I talk to on the phone "seem" to care but still nothing has happen its prime swimming weather and my kids won't go in and neither will I. I don't have a choice in who Services my pool even though I have to pay for it but you do. Don't choose these people.

Britt is an absolute pleasure. Honestly the best customer service experience I’ve had with a company before. He’s down to earth and knowledgeable. He managed to fix a leak in our pool pump after weeks of trying to figure it out!

Clear Tech is amazing!!! After the hurricane I basically needed to redo my pool due to all the damage. They came in and were able to give me an honest competitive quote in comparison to all of the other pool companies in st pete. Communication was amazing, service was amazing, professional etc. Best pool resurfacing company in st pete hands down. Thank you guys again!

Stephen has done an exceptional job caring for my pool. I know I am not the best pool owner but there was a point in time when I decided I was going to take on the care of my pool myself since my pool didn’t ever seem clean or wasn’t cloudy even with the help of a pool service. The month I decided this, Steve randomly came along. The first few weeks of his service I was skeptical, the pool was cleaned each time he finished the job and remained cleaned! It seemed too good to be true. I thought Steve might just be filling in and was temporary, but I decided, as long as he was servicing my pool, I would keep the service.

Not only have I had amazing service with Steve, but the whole Clear Tech Accounting dept has been amazing. They’re quick to respond and always speak to you as if you’re a familiar face. They make you feel part of the Clear Tech family.

Trey worked diligently to make a new skimmer cover for my spa. It’s on my back porch deck 5” of concrete to deal with.
He finally finished yesterday and he did a great job. I’m very happy with it and appreciate all the time he spend on it.
