David was very thorough in making sure that the AC was in perfect condition before finishing the job. Explained what the issue was and what was needed to get it corrected. Pricing and service is spot on and glad we found David at Koltec. I would recommend David at Koltec to anyone needing assistance with repairs or installation of a new AC.

I have called David several times over the past couple of years. Every time my A/C has had an issue, David is incredibly responsive, takes the time to explain the issue, and does the repair well and for a fair price. I highly recommend this company.

David from Koltek is great. Willing and able to always coordinate quick service calls. Shows up on time, every time, and charges a reasonable and fair price. Has a great helper too. We had a new unit installed and experienced a “hiccup” in the process. David was determined to get it resolved, contacting the manufacturer’s technical support department and coming over even on a holiday to make sure we were not left without air any longer than necessary. I recommend him to anyone who needs AC work. Totally Awesome.

Incredibly responsive and helpful. Got to me in a timely fashion though I wasn’t a current client. Was very proactive on the communication as the time window approached for their arrival and 100% on time to when they said they’d arrive. Solid communication as they worked to determine problems and started with lowest cost option to repair. It ended up being the fix and I have found my new tried and true resource for maintenance and repair. Highly recommend

Excellent company. David came over to look at the house, he spoke well and was very informative. He gave us a good price and did the job when he said he would. Nice to find someone who wasn't here just to sell and rip us off. The new unit is running great and we are sitting cool under this terrible heat dome.

Our AC went out 2 weeks after having it serviced by a different group. I contacted David from Koltec this morning and he was able to get to us within a few hours and treated us well. He was very professional, fair priced and honest. He showed me the root cause of the problem and was able to make the repair efficiently. We are very happy with his service and plan to use him for any future AC needs.

I have finally found the honest & reliable AC company that I've been searching for for years. Dave and his crew answer the phone, show up when they are supposed to and do quality work. They've worked all over Broward County for me and answer the phone after normal business hours to help in an emergency situation.

I hired Koltec Refrigeration & Air Conditioning LLC in 2023 to install a new air conditioning unit in my home, which is under 1,500 square feet. They installed a 4-ton unit, which multiple other air conditioning companies later confirmed was far too large for my space.

Almost immediately after installation, my son and I started experiencing severe allergy reactions. Initially thinking it was mold, I had a UV light installed, but our symptoms continued to worsen. Further investigation revealed that the oversized unit caused excessive moisture buildup, leading to mold in the ductwork. I had to pay $6,500 to replace the ducts in my home due to the damage caused by mold.

When I reached out to Koltec, the owner refused to take responsibility, stating it wasn’t his problem and he would only assist with duct repairs for an additional fee. After further issues arose with the moisture damage, including peeling paint and baseboards, I requested that they replace the unit with the correct size, but once again, the owner refused to help.

This company’s poor installation has caused significant health problems, property damage, and financial strain. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and customer service. I would not recommend Koltec Refrigeration & Air Conditioning LLC to anyone.

I’ve recently received feedback from Koltec suggesting that I have been difficult to work with. However, I believe the situation only became challenging after I raised concerns about a problem that required resolution. It’s important to note that up until that point, we had a productive working relationship. I would also prefer not to share the detailed records of the financial transactions made throughout this partnership, but I do feel it's essential that we address the issue constructively to move forward.

Super friendly and easy to work with from the first call. The tech showed up right on time, figured out the problem fast, and got everything running smoothly again. Definitely my go-to from now on for heating and cooling stuff. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! After receiving an astronomical quote from another company I gave David at Koltec a call. They were able to come out quickly and fix the unit. He and his team were friendly, on time, and did excellent work at a fair price. I’ll definitely be using this company moving forward and recommending them to everyone.

Very unprofessional and rude

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful repair on my home AC. E T A came out on short notice and was able to get my AC working in the middle of August. Peak AC season and no one else would take the call to arrive same day. Luckily I found E T A and they were able to get my house cooled down rapidly with a friendly smile. The extremely courteous owner educated me on the issue and kept me updated on everything he was doing to resolve it. Thank you very much to everyone that is part of Everything Air!
