Extremely disappointed with lack of resolution for our needs. We engaged Capital Plumbing because our washer drain had begun to back up. After two hours of fighting to find the issue they snaked our line, and temporarily relieved the problem. Within 48 hours the drain began to back up again, making it apparent their visit had not resolved the issue. With our work schedules we did not have the ability to reach back out to them until the following Monday, and had to resort to taking our clothes to a laundry mat while juggling our work schedules.

When we contacted them (a total of 5 days after the machine was serviced) they insisted that this must be a new, separate issue. They insisted that we would have to pay a additional service charge, paying for the same issue twice. When we informed them this was unacceptable and asked for a partial refund for services not rendered, they denied it outright. We have now lost the money we paid them and are back at square one with our drain.

After asking around with other services the consistant feedback we have recieved is that this company is known for temporary fixes and multiple bills per service call. Buyer beware, Do not recommend.

Levi was awesome he prevented a fire from a leak was in my water heated condensation was built up my water wasn't getting hot in my shower he went out the way too fix it .he didn't have too but he did anyways. He was super friendly and caring we need more workers like him go Levi go... you surly deserve a raise the way you care too help others thank you so much levi.

My experience with Capital Plumbing was above and beyond! Their customer service excelled!! Brittany was more than helpful when having to speak to her numerous times regarding my plumbing issues. Ricky, as well was very detail oriented,and made sure to help me understand what needed to be done with a friendly, personal yet professional manner. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommended. My hot water heater went out late on a Friday afternoon. I couldn’t find a plumber that was willing to come out the same day to fix it until I called Capital Plumbing Contractors. The manager (Helen) went above and beyond to fit me into the schedule. Within an hour my hot water heater was back online. It’s rare to find businesses with this level of customer service and professionalism! Thanks Helen!!

Everything with this company started with the women on the phone--they were exceptional and answered my questions thoroughly. Next came Levi, the gentleman who was sent to fix the problem (slab leak). From the moment he got here until he left, I was given tier one service. Not one single complaint. This is a very fine company--everything was smooth from the first call with Helen to the end. I am thankful they are in Tallahassee and *highly* recommend them.

Called them out a few weeks ago to work on a sink they fixed 3 years ago. Said there was no leak. Tenant sent me a video of the leak. They were scheduled to come out today. The plumber called me stating there was no way it was leaking, and the leak was coming from the supply line in the video, and that wasn't under warranty. Then said he needed to be paid for the last visit even though the issue clearly wasn't fixed. I never asked him about it being covered under warranty, never said I wasn't going to pay the invoice from March. He just wanted to call and be argumentative instead of just going and addressing the issue.

Update:
I had to call this company for the fourth time today and the customer service is amazing. I got an email notice from the utility company that I had excess water usage. Helen helped locate a plumber to come out right away to check the meter and turn off the waterline until I can get somebody out to do leak detection. Tug was quick to turn it off and check for damage. We had a leak detection company come out next and within a few hours and a very reasonable fee the problem has been resolved.

Frank with Capital Plumbing is amazing. We received a notice from the city late on a Friday night that a leak was detected at my college child's townhouse. After calling on a Saturday, Frank responded quickly and kindly. Not sure if I should wait until Monday for a regular service call, Frank gave me helpful tips to identify if I had an emergency leak or not. Once I arrived to the townhouse and realized how severe our issue was, he made it to the property quickly and began working right away. Although hourly rates are higher for weekend emergency service, he was respectful of the time and worked quickly and efficiently. If I have an issue in the future, I'm calling Capital Plumbing and asking for Frank.

Update: I have used this company 2 more times since this first review. The 2nd visit was for a leak coming from an upstairs bathroom into a downstairs bathroom. The same day my daughter had an emergency dental appointment and they worked around my schedule to come check the leak. A temporary fix was put in place at my request. Yesterday they came for a third appointment to repipe and fix the issue that caused the leak. Ben was very professional and worked efficiently to make the repairs. He made sure we could see and understand the repairs needed before proceeding.

Taylor was amazing. I would recommend them any time. He was prompt, courteous and did a great job. I will Definitely use them again.

Had a problem with my water,Having a brown tint in it,Two of the Nicest Young Men came to the rescue, They changed out my hot water heater, This is one satisfied Customer, Johnny G. Was one of the Guys,I tell ya,They were very Nice & Professional.

We've switched over to Capital Plumbing and so far have been happy. Johnny was a good technician and we're now asking for him by name.

Can't say enough good things about Capital Plumbing. Great office staff who provide great customer service with responsive calls and emails. Frank came out today and installed a whole house water filter. He was on time, got to work, got it done, and left the work site cleaner than he found it. I was very pleased with the price as well. Wish I would have got them to hook up the two sinks in my barn a few months ago instead of one of the other plumbing companies in Tallahassee that charged $1,100 and didn't finish the job. Great job guys!

Had a 20 year old hot water heater that got a pinhole leak in the copper tubing. Valve to cut off the water was frozen shut. Called Capital Plumbing on Sunday for emergency service. Frank answered and told me that he would be here in 45 minutes. He WAS! Put in a new valve and fixed the leak in less than an hour. So impressed we decided to have him install a new water heater. NOT disappointed. Did a great job. Would recommend this company and Frank in particular.

Frank did our tankless water heater service and scale cleaning. He was on time, polite, quiet and neat. What a nice young man. Thanks Frank!

The part showing up wrong for repair was a bit of a bummer but the technician Ben smith that helped on the first day was incredible. I really appreciate his candor and hard work.

I have just recently used Capital Plumbing at the recommendation of a neighbor. Having had numerous bad experiences with service for our somewhat new home, I have to say I am very pleased with the service received from Frank! He was not only very professional and courteous, he was very knowledgeable, honest and thorough in his tasks. So much so, that we have already scheduled another non-emergent service with them that has needed to be done for a year after so-called service had already been done incorrectly. Also, I found Sam, the office assistant to be expeditious in returning calls, and very customer oriented as well. I 100% definitely recommend Capital Plumbing!

Frankie and James were here today to remove the garbage disposal and repipe under the sink. Can I just say, THANK YOU for a wonderful job! My pipes were a mess, and I am just so thankful for the expertise, and their measure to go above and beyond in ensuring that everything is done to perfection! Levi from Capital Plumbing did a couple of toilet installations for me (two different occasions). He was a breath of fresh air in an industry where the quality of a plumber can seriously affect your quality of life. He was very patient and took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was done to the highest standard. He was very friendly, respectful and considerate. He cleaned up after himself, even vacuuming. Would gladly hire Levi again to help with any of my plumbing needs. He did an excellent job!
