We have used Third Generation Plumbing, AC & Mechanical multiples times for our plumbing and ac needs in two different homes. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They are professional, honest, hard working and they care about the customer. Thanks Third Generation for always addressing our needs with care start to finish!

Tech was sent here to fix my garbage disposal. Got it unclogged but then tried to tell me the drain is plugged but to snake it is not covered under my home warranty and would be an additional 200.00. I called AHS Warranty and was told that it is covered and should have been snaked as part of the service ticket because I have coverage for drain stoppage as well. I was able to unclog the pipe myself with a long bottle brush in 10 seconds. AHS refunding my service fee.

Third generation plumbing was dispatched to my home several times through my home warranty company. On each visit, we were fortunate to have Raffael come out to service our AC. He was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem promptly. He took the time to explain the issues that we were having and what he was doing to address it. He also provided me with helpful tips in reference to maintaining my unit. The front office staff was very professional as well. My appointments were scheduled promptly and I received follow up calls to let me know when the technician was on the way which was greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

From the office staff arranging the appointment, to calling me to let me know the technician, Don V, was on his way, and throughout the repair my experience was fantastic. They were polite, professional and very clean. Would highly recommended and use again.

Great customer service and support. Had a technician, Rafael come and do maintenance and check my AC unit and was very professional and helpful. Thank you Rafael for all of your help and making sure everything was great.

Not sure if your driver was drunk or was road raging. They were driving erratically, stopping in the middle of the road without cause, brake checking, changing multiple lanes without signal. They were traveling on curlew road approximately 4:00, and traveled US 19 to Tampa road. If your technician acts like that on the road, it makes me wonder how they would act while working on my home. I hope you have cameras on that vehicle. It was a Transit work van.

Had duct cleaning done today, technician Luis and his partner were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Questions were answered where I understood what was being done. Picked up and cleaned after themselves. Overall I’m very pleased with the results. Definitely recommend them.

Never actually utilized their service however, the people operating their vehicles are not people I’d ever want to hire. Aggressive and impatient drivers that do not obey the law. Drove into on-coming traffic as the 35 mph speed limit wasn’t fast enough. Perhaps there was an emergency, but this guy should have got a ticket. Remember this type of person would be the one repairing and bidding on your AC/plumbing. No thanks.

Wish I could rate a star lower. The homeowner insurance I had at the time sent them out back in 2019 as I was having issues with my A/C unit. They ended up recommending that I get the unit replaced due to the cost of repairs. The insurance I had approved the replacement but only contributed an amount towards the replacement. 3rd Generation performed the install of the new unit. After the installation, they had 5 different technicians come out over the next few weeks because they could not get the wiring right. Whenever I turned on the heat it would blow a fuse and would stop working. Eventually, the owner, PJ, came out and said he saw what was done wrong and assured he had corrected the issue. The fuse blew again. The last guy they sent out was an "expert" on American Standard/Trane units and figured out what was done wrong by a whole staff of guys there. So fast forward to today, 1/15. I've had a recent issue with this unit and had two professional opinions tell me the same issue: the copper piping on the outside unit did not have the shielding around it as it was supposed to from the manufacturer to prevent the copper from creating friction between the piping which due to vibration overtime would cause the copper to have a break and cause leaking. Because this is a manufacturing issue, I was referred to the installer 3rd Generation, and it just so happens there is a 10-10 warranty with them, 10-year parts, 10-year labor.... at least that is what I was told. So I called them a week ago and spoke to Mike to confirm the warranty, and he looked me up and said yes, you have the 10-year parts and 10-year labor, but you'll be responsible for the diagnosis fee of $125. Ok, cool, I'll call you guys back when I can be available. So called yesterday, 1/14, and spoke to Matti. I setup for someone to come out this morning and was told I'd be responsible for the diagnosis fee. I ask her, "Hey, I just want to confirm what my warranty covers". She said let me look up your account "Yes, you have the 10-year parts and 10-year labor". Ok lets do it for tomorrow morning. Guy shows up this morning I tell him whats going on he goes out back and looks at my outside unit. I tell him what I was told from two previous techs, he acknowledges he can see the leak from same spot and gets on the phone. Guy on the phone tells him to run a leak detection test, so guy looks at me and says "hey we have to do a leak detection test and its $75 per hour, it shouldn't take more than 1 hour to do but that what it would cost". I say well I have 10yr labor and parts, why am I paying anything for service. My supervisor on the phone says you don't have 10-year labor, only 10-year parts. So I call the office while he's there and and speak to a woman who I ask "can you look up my account and tell me what my warranty is with you guys, I gave her no context. She looks it and says "you have 10-year parts and 10-year labor on your American Standard/ Trane unit" I put her on speaker for the tech and asked her to repeat, the tech tells her what the supervisor said which turns out to be PJ. She puts me on hold and comes back. I'm sorry we didn't start that until 3 months after we installed your unit. So I'm, like, you guys, on 3 separate times with 3 different individuals, even including yourself, a few moments ago, told me otherwise. I reluctantly wanted to deal with 3rd generation again because of my experience with the unit install. I wouldn't even have scheduled anything with them had I known this beforehand. I tell the tech to put everything back as I'm not going to pay him an additional $75. That is like going to a mechanic to diagnose a problem with your car, and they say, "Hey, we can't hear anything by just popping the hood up, so we got to jack it up to get a better look, but it's going to cost you $75 an hour while it's on the jack". Stay far away from this company. If your home warranty uses them, ask for another contractor.

Sending a HUGE thank you to Third Generation and its wonderful employees! We had a leak in our bedroom/bathroom and they worked tirelessly to determine the source of the leak, and then came in to fix in under a day. Every employee I encountered was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and courteous! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!!

Rafael came out a day after I submitted my home warranty request which is pretty quick. He took a look at my issue and fixed it quickly. Very happy with the service.

Simple replacement of the fill valve on 2 identical toilets with identical replacement parts. Guy Installs one flush handle BACKWARDS! I called and was told they would contact me with appt time. 2 days later I call to inquire when they were coming back.
Older female that answered phone, (after I explaied problem and that I had called before).
"I DON'T see a ticket, maybe if you HAD TOLD us....."
"Umm I called you 2 days ago about this...."
"OH, I DON'T NEED YOUR SARCASM! Don't GET sarcastic with ME! You have to call your insurance company FIRST!"
Then hangs up on me. Was never told the first time I had to call insurance to get appt date.
Second guy comes out, tells me he can't get a handle for this toilet so toilet needs to be replaced. (Remember 2 identical toilets, identical replacement parts, one works fine).
So if you want to hire inept plumbers, and then deal with a rude woman with anger issues, and NO professional customer communication skills, with a BAD attitude, and total lack of emotional intelligence ... Enjoy! -
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any service company—do not use this company for anything. after he fixed the AC work for week and brook again When I called the company, they told me it was an issue with the wiring between the thermostat and the unit — and that this repair wasn’t covered under the warranty. Funny how the technician never mentioned a word about that when he was here. He just patched it up, and left me with a problem waiting to happen.

This company was sent out through my home warranty to snake a slow draining sink. Long story short they broke pipes in my wall and foundation with their negligent technique. It flooded our only bathroom and the adjoining bedroom. Afterwards, they tried to have me sign a liability waiver. Since then they have been uncommunicative and apparently lied to our home warranty company. I rarely leave a bad review but Third Generation deserves 0 stars. Avoid at all costs.

Robert is friendly and knowledgeable. He found the issue with our furnace and took care of it. Thank you so much!

I wish I had read some of this before accepting them from AHS. I had water leaking when they came and more water leaking by the time they left. Only one access hole was done to look for this leak …and that was above a window on an exterior wall? Even though I told the tech there was a pipe in the ceiling he did believe or listen to me. No further effort was given to help solve the problem. My wife and I cut a few more holes and found the leak not 6 feet from where he was working. We then asked them to return to fix this leak but that didn’t happen until two day later.
In the mean time I tried calling to express my disappointment but no supervisor or manager would return my call. Well, I found the owners cell number and we had a good discussion about how “me as the homeowner doesn’t know anything” and how “they have 40 years of experience in which they rarely make mistakes.” Furthermore, he also explains that my problem is minor compared to the other issues he deals with as the owner of his business.
Juan Rodriguez, I hope you consider listening to your customers a little more in the future because maybe we do know more than you think. It seems I’m not alone in my frustration with this three generation and family owned business. They claim most of their work comes from word of mouth and customer referrals. I’m not so sure that’s true but I certainly won’t be one of them.
I’ve never worked with a business with an F rating from BBB and my referral is to avoid Third Generation Plumbing. -
Luis and Ameer from Third Generation came out to my place as a second opinion to comfort pros, who was assigned to me by American Home Shield in the original service request for a full drain pan that shut off my AC. To make a long story shorter, the second opinion was due to games, attempts to double dip the customer and American Home shield. AHS got suspicious and set up the second opinion. So Third Generation sent two of their best, Luis and Ameer. Luis led the way and quickly determined yes Comfort pro was trying to catch me and AHS. Comfort pros seemingly wanted to have my evap coil, my evap coil pan, and my drain line replaced while the technician would do a pull and clean on my evap coil and evap coil pan, about 900 dollars. Comfort pros replacement request would have been around 2k or more. So how? The company put in to AHS that I needed a replacement while the technician said I needed a pull and clean.
How did Luis and Ameer rectify the situation. They quickly determind the evap coil was clean!!! They drained my drain pan, did a 10 second wipe of my evap coil pan and adjusted the evap coil pan and drain line. Bada bing bada boom, done. AC runs great now.
Thanks Luis and Ameer for great, honest work. Thanks to Third Generation for quick quality response. -
Third Generation came out first thing this morning after calling my home warranty yesterday afternoon. David from Third Generation was the tec, he corrected the problem in a timely manner and explained everything throughly and told how we can maintain our AC so it runs more efficiently. I would ask for David again he was awesome.

Kudos to Dave D for coming early so I can leave to do my errands
He was a very quiet and thorough technician
Went behind himself to see if everything was clean up.
