I am really happy with our renovation project with the Stepup home improvements! Mehdi and his team are very responsive and did a great job! They did our accent wall and backsplash.

I had flooring installed by Step Up. Medhi called me within 15 minutes of going on line and asking for quotes to remove carpet and install vinyl flooring. Within 1 week the flooring was installed. I am a very picky person(OCD). I had some issues with the stairs and some glue on the downstairs floor. Medhi sent his Men back to rectify the issues. Sometimes on jobs things happen. I know this as I have been involved with finish work years ago. I want to thank Medhi for his quick response and willingness to address my concerns quickly. I will use Step Up again.

Finally, a contractor that promised and delivered. I recommend these guys highly. The job was done extremely well, above and beyond the crew was excellent. I would use them for other services and I recommended other people use them also. Pricing was comparable to other companies, but the job was above excellent.
They tiled my walls, rehung the TV, built the fireplace wall and installed the fireplace painted the fireplace did it all very very very well. Great company.

They installed my kitchen backsplash and an accent wall. Quality work!!! They responded to my inquiry timely, and got my job scheduled quickly. They came on time, clarified expectations, focused, worked clean, and got the job done timely. I had a great experience and will continue to use them.

We had a great experience with Step Up Tampa. I was interested in getting a stacked stone entertainment center with fireplace and built in cabinet lowers. The team was super responsive and quick to schedule. They finished the entire project in less than two days, and got us in a few weeks ahead of schedule (we were waiting on cabinet delivery which came in sooner than anticipated). We had gotten multiple quotes and they were by far the most reasonable. They were reliable and communication was quick and seamless. I would definitely use them again. Pics below of before and after. BEWARE, and save your money

I heavily rely on Google reviews when choosing businesses to work with, whether it's restaurants, hotels, or home improvement services. Unfortunately, my experience with Step Up Home Improvements was far from satisfactory. I urge you to read this review to avoid the same disappointment I encountered.

I had new floors installed in two areas of my house in May 2022, and initially, everything seemed fine. However, these floors barely lasted a year before issues started to surface. It's important to note that Step Up Home Improvements offers only a one-year warranty for their floors – something I regret not knowing beforehand, but I accept responsibility for not asking.

In April 2023, the floor panels began to lift in certain sections. I reached out to Medhi, the owner, and he promptly sent someone to address the issue, no questions asked. The technician fixed the problems I had at the time. However, now, in September 2023, I'm facing the same issues again. Seeking a second opinion from unrelated contractors who had worked on a different area of my house, they suggested two potential causes. First, the flooring may have been installed too tightly around the edges, causing bunching in certain spots. Second, inadequate floor preparation may have resulted in unevenness in some areas. Both issues are difficult to spot until problems emerge.

When I shared this information with Medhi, he informed me that my warranty had expired. He also made remarks implying that somehow this situation was my fault. Despite this, he agreed to send someone to address the issues again as a "favor." After the technician's recent visit, however, I noticed cracking in the corners of some panels and increased looseness when I step on them. Astonishingly, the problem areas have worsened after these "repairs." It's a constant reminder whenever I walk through my living room and bedroom that this job was not completed professionally.

I'm genuinely disappointed, and even if I considered calling them back to address these issues, I'm now outside the warranty period, and the hassle of moving furniture makes it unfeasible. Save yourself thousands of dollars and choose a different provider for your flooring needs.

Medhi is a hard to find professional talent. He is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. I have used the company to do floors and will use them again in the future on other projects.

I’ve been a long time customer and have purchased flooring a few times from here. The services is always great and the transactions are smooth. Our floors look great and have with stood 2 toddlers for over a year and counting. Just went today to get the same flooring for our master bedroom! Will be back next for tiles. 🥰
