Easy to work with. Ordered 2 items and one came damaged because the carrier. The claim was easy to fill out and I received the new vent timely. I would order from them again.

The shipping turnaround was very quick. I received my order earlier than expected, and finding exactly what I needed was very easy to do. I will be using them again for my HVAC needs.

Order arrived in very good condition with only 3 small dents (2” or less”) that were noticeable over the entire unit and they do not affect operation in the least. It has been working perfectly for almost 2 weeks now and installing wasn’t even very difficult. Luckily, my next door neighbor worked in AC and R for 30 years and helped for a few hours, but I had done 80% before I even asked him for advice. Hopefully I won’t need another unit for 20 years; but if I do I will probably order from Budget Heating & Air Conditioning again!

I ordered a heat/ac unit 2 weeks ago. Paid in full with my credit card. Patiently waited. Then yesterday, 13 days after my order was placed, I get a call from them. I am thinking it is to tell me when the unit is going to arrive. No, it is to tell me they don't have the unit I ordered and they don't know when it will be in stock again. Then they said I could buy a more expensive brand if I wanted. I told them I would have to check the sizing specs since the original unit was purchased based on the case dimensions. I then decided to Google the model unit I had purchased to see if another supplier had that unit. Low and behold EBay comes up and it shows Budget has three of my unit available to purchase on EBay. So I was lied to that they didn't have my unit. They were selling it on EBay for a higher price than what I purchased it for from their website. The reason I gave two stars is because today (day 14) I called in to cancel the order and they did send an email that the order was cancelled. It showed my full purchase price was being refunded. They did that promptly. This two week delay has now set my job back. Found a higher quality unit that met my case size dimensions from another supplier.

Most of my order arrived fast and intact but was missing a very large important part of my order that took quite some time and runaround to receive that was on both shipper and seller but in the end alls well that ends well.

We purchased a Diamond Air Ac unit 3.5 ton heat pump July 12. The unit was intalled by an AC technician on the 16th of July. The unit would not work!!! The Technician after speaking with budget said put a new control board in. The technician did and it still did not work. Our AC tech said we need a new condenser. We let Budget know and they refused. The unit should be under warranty through budget for 60 days!!! We now our paying for their AC tech to come out $100 service call and $125 hr. Plus pay for parts if he can fix it!!!! This unit is costing a fortune. We have been with out AC for over 2 weeks. They are a horrible company and DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR EQUIPMENT!! By the way I have NEVER given a bad review or would even take time

Ordered a new 3.5T Goodman system to replace one that died. Had all of the other materials I needed to do an install. Delivered timely. Great customer service. No complaints. Will buy from them again.

Needed a pre-fab, quality stand for indoor Air Handler and searched all over on the internet and eventually found Budget offering a prefabbed 5 sided unit with good online info and even a drawing. Before I found Budget, wasted time trying to get accurate dimensions and details, but Budget was only one I found and their price was reasonable, with quick shipping. Highly recommend this company.

This review is not about Budget Heating and Air, Budget was great but the freight company they hired Southeastern Freight Lines ripped RIPPED OFF A SENIOR CITIZEN!!!! Southeastern Freight Lines was hired by my Budget Heating to deliver my a.c unit and handler and caused damaged to the a.c. handler. The two pieces were delivered on 11/12/2020 to a vacant property that was being remodeled. According to Budget, we were supposed to be allowed to review the units and sign for release. Southeastern Freight Lines driver dropped off the unit out allowing us to inspect, otherwise, we could have noted the exterior damage to the a.c. handler (which was done by stacking other items on it a clear violation of the BOL) and the driver did not obtain our signature instead in full site of us and our neighbor he rushed to get back in his truck and signed the signature pad himself. I contacted the Southeastern Freight Lines and they stated that due to COVID it is their policy to allow drivers to sign for the release of your product and that they can only compensate me $323 for a $969 item (for damages). I rejected Southeastern Freight Lines offer of $323 because the damage is due to their negligence of stacking other items on top of the unit and their breach of duty/contract since their driver signed on my behalf without allowing us to inspect it. Due to COVID, I am on furlough and only have my Social Security income so I will not be able to move back into my property without the unit being installed, Southeastern Freight Lines response was to pursue this matter further and that's what I will have to do. I am posting this for future consumers see if Budget has another freight company because Southeastern Freight Lines will cause damages to your item and will not own up to reimbursing the cost of replacement, please be aware. ***I am not the only customer that they have done this too, below I have included another complaint of a similar incident from the Southeastern Freights BBB site***

This company is amazing. The staff are amazing and super helpful. To be blunt, you’re a damn fool if you purchase your equipment elsewhere. The price was 1/2 of what I was getting quoted locally in Orlando. That’s about $6K! Yeah, I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true - call them or visit their site!
Vic was great during the purchase process, Tiffany was great with setting up delivery and Ken was great when delivering. All you other HVAC companies out there need to learn from this company. I am referring ALL friends and family to Budget.

Found this place through google search when I was stuck on a project and Home Depot didn't carry the item that I was in need of. I wish I had found Budget sooner! This is the second unit I have bought from Budget Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. in Tampa. The first one was a Diamond Air that lasted 12 years and I just replaced it with this new one. This one is a Goodman and it runs quieter than the previous one ever did and cools good so far. I bought a condenser pad with this one and I am glad I did because it is thicker than any I have used. Overall I am happy with my purchase and have recommended them to a neighbor and posted these pictures already.

Avoid this company at all costs! I purchased a new Rheem heat pump from them in the middle of May. Unit showed up with no damage from the shipping company but when the unit was taken off the skid there was a large oil stain on the cardboard. I immediately called Budget and was sent to voicemail. After calling multiple times was finally able to speak to someone and they told me I would need to submit a damage claim ticket and email them with pictures, they were sent the same day. After nearly a week of unreturned calls and emails I was told I would be transferred to the warranty department even though it clearly shows on their website they would replace any damaged or defective items. After confirming the unit had leaked all the refrigerant I was told I would need to pay my contractor to find a different company that could replace the unit and they would have to be a Rheem dealer, nearest one was 2.5 hours away. When I told them this wasn't possible I was then told I could return it but would be charged $525 for return shipping and would not be refunded the original shipping costs. I'm out nearly $1000 dollars on a unit that was defective from Budget. I would understand a warranty issue if the unit had been installed or had faulty components but the entire unit was unusable. Avoid them and find a better vendor
