Had a new air handler and compressor done yesterday and I can't say enough about the team that did the replacement. I first used this company when I thought my system was on it's last legs 3 years ago. That's right thanks to the knowledge of Chris I was able to baby it along until the compressor called it quits completely. The whole team did an amazing job bringing everything up to code. They were kind, courteous, timely, and respectful. Very thankful!

Rem Air Conditioning came out today and installed new thermostats and a capacitor on my a/c. It's working again thankfully. Chris the technician was quick and thorough and I couldn't be happier. I've been a customer for a long time and everyone from the owners, office staff, and technicians especially Dennis and Chris are great. They are also very clean which I appreciate.

These guys were amazing. Every interaction was professional and friendly. After I had a horrible experience with a different provider, I called these guys up and now I have a working condenser. They were informative and efficient. Thank you Bobby, Chris, Christian and Miguel. You guys are great and I'll never consider another provider going forward. This is a great company in an ocean of crappy providers and I'm grateful to have found them.

Our A/C fan went out on our 4 year old unit Thanksgiving day. We tried to get a hold of the company that installed it, to no avail. We texted and called on Friday morning, multiple times. Still no response. Meanwhile, my friend across the lake had both of his units serviced after hurricane Milton, by REM, and couldn't quit talking about what a great tech they sent.
So, I called them at 10:30 am Friday, and they scheduled a service call for 1:00 pm the same day. Chris showed up just as the company that had installed the system showed up. I sent the original company away, because they had not even responded to my many calls and texts. For a minute, I thought we might have problem with both companies showing up at the exact time, but I sent the original company away, so REM could fix our problem. Chris seemed very friendly, and I soon learned that he had almost 40 years of A/C repair experience. This guy is awesome!
After opening up the unit, he pointed out MANY issues with the original installation, Circuit boards bypassed, Wires cut, my $400.00 Soft Start not even wired in, Drain line not installed with a trap...
So, Chris warranted out the $1500.00 fan motor and almost completely rewired the unit. When Chris discovered that the motor needed replacing, he call the company, and within 30 minutes Christian showed up with a new fan motor and circuit board, and then stayed to assist Chris with the installation.
All said and done, Chris did a complete PM, replaced the fan motor and faulty circuit board, and was very open to my standing over his shoulder to learn more about my system.
AND it was raining the whole time!
I highly recommend REM for your HVAC needs, These guys are TOP NOTCH.

There are so many different air conditioner retailers in the Tampa area that I didn’t know where to start. A few were recommended and I got quotes from them, but I also got a quote from REM, just to provide additional perspective. After talking to Chris (Service & Sales), in person during our quote, and Joe (owner), on the phone later that day, I decided to go with REM because I was impressed with how well they communicated about my specific set up once they had returned to the shop. When the crew arrived the next day, I was further impressed by how efficient and competent they were. Another telltale sign was hearing how well the installers had been taken care of by their company (I think this is an indicator of the quality of the company and made me feel that I was in good hands). Fast-forward seven hours later and they just pulled away after having done an incredible job. No details overlooked. You could tell they enjoyed their work and got along well as a team. Chris even stopped by personally to provide a QC and Joe called him while he was there to make sure I was happy with the work. I definitely recommend REM and will be using them exclusively in the future!

Definitely recommend REM. We got a lot of quotes when looking for a new AC system and REM was definitely the most through in their quote and inspection of our old system. Other companies never spent more than a few minutes looking at our old set up, and Chris took the time to really look what we needed and were the only ones to bother checking our duct work. He was super knowledgeable and really took the time to explain any issues without being pushy. He was really great! Our old system purchased by the previous homeowner was a mess and we knew going into it that we were going to have to pay to fix their mistakes.

Although REM wasn't our cheapest quote they were not too far off and they were offering to install higher quality equipment, were the most knowledge, and when installation day came the team was a well oiled machine that really made a point to get all the details perfect and take the time to explain everything we needed to know. That alone was well worth it.

In a industry that can be full of companies that take advantage of homeowners it was really great to work with REM. Will definitely continue to work with them going forward.

Wow! I must say, having worked with many air conditioning companies and trust me. There have been many. I have never been so pleased with the incredible customer service as well as products that this company provides. what I really like about this REM is it’s a very family owned business that has been in business for many decades And they are very honest and trustworthy. The past companies that we have used have always tried to sell us something that we don’t need that cost into the thousands and thousands of dollars and I’m tired of the solicitations that are continuous. Many companies are about pushing products. I happen to know that other companies work on a commission base so all these technicians have to come out and push product. This company does not and I’m really happy about that. Our technician Chris was the epitome of the word Customer Service . He was honest, helpful, friendly, extremely funny and definitely was thorough and servicing our air-conditioning system. He made a lot of suggestions that were to our benefit and I really appreciate that. I would highly recommend this company for all your heating and air conditioning needs!!

Had to replace my a/c unit 2.5 yrs ago. After getting several estimates, I went with REM as neighbours had recommended them and Chris Park of REM, who gave me the estimate, was respectful, incredibly informative & helpful, while being straightforward & professional. Since the install I've had regular service and the techs are always great, the latest one being Christopher A. who was here today. He was friendly yet professional, thorough, very considerate of cleaning up & not letting pets out, gave helpful advice and answered my questions. Highly recommend REM for a/c install, repairs or maintenance.

What a great experience we have had with REM! We are doing an addition to our house and so we got a whole new system for our whole house. Their pricing is fair, and they are very responsive and easy to work with, and the work is done right. We are having it done in two phases, so they had to make some tweaks to get it working in just one half of the house- it was a little warm for me, and they sent someone same day to make a further tweak. Love that prompt response!!
And then on top of it, my Mom, who lives in Plant City, called me on a Sunday evening to say her a/c wasn't working, so I called them, and they got someone out there within an hour, got it fixed, and the pricing was very reasonable.

We are so happy with their job, specially Chris Parks what a nice guy, he knows what he is doing, very knowledgeable, honest, he will do anything to make sure the job is done and done properly!! I will highly recommend it!!! Thank you Chris Park and REM!!

Without a doubt this company has provided THE BEST service of any air conditioning company with which we have ever dealt, and we have lived here (in Tampa) over 42 years. In that time, we must have dealt with at least ten. I would say also it is the best of all companies supplying appliances or electronic devices with which we have ever dealt.
Unlike the typical company of this "age" we have not been put on hold forever by some automated system when requiring service/support. On at least two occasions have needed service on weekends (of course). And the service was prompt, efficient and friendly (really).
Their "dispatch" system is handled by REAL humans (imagine THAT).
In short, I can recommend REM as THE BEST, and believe me, I have written very few reviews.

Beginning with the service call, the contact at the office was thorough and complete with questions. The repair tech Chris was very knowledgeable and quick to determine issues with system. He wrapped up my repair in a matter of a couple hours including travel time for parts. Highly recommend these folks for your AC work.

Any time my AC unit needs to be looked at REM is there in no time! Chris P. Is incredible he truly takes his time to look at what the issue might be but also is extremely detail oriented and makes sure that my unit is running like it's brand new again. Our old unit finally died, we called Rem through a friend and we are so glad we did. Once we set up an appointment the service lady said to my wife, welcome to the family. That itself made us feel good about our choice. The service person came out and did a detailed inspection of our old A/C unit, it wasn't a very good u it that we had left. Broke it down, explaining in detail what he was doing and the results of his findings. After a bit we received s very good quote that we agreed on. The next morning a team of 4 came out exactly the time they said. They split up in two pairs. One for the outside unit and the other in the garage. Professionals in every way. All four greeted me and introduced themselves and explained what each pair was going to do. I had semi conversations throughout the time they were working. They explained that they worry about one job at a time so there's no rushing to get to the next job. I was surprised how well they spoke about the owner and fellow team members. We will recommend Rem to are friends and family and anyone wanting a professional service. We are extremely happy and fortunate to have used Rem Air & Heating.

Christopher came to my home today and provided a very professional air-conditioning assessment and tune-up. He clearly explained everything and went above and beyond by helping me identify other concerns with the air filters and drainage system. I really appreciated his thoroughness and expertise. I highly recommend this company—and especially Christopher—for any of your HVAC needs.
