We have used Anchor Air Conditioning for over 15 years. They have consistently been reliable and affordable. I recommend them to everyone I talk to. Ask them for a second opinion; they almost always beat the competitor's price.
-
I have been a customer for 12 years and love them. They are honest and don't scam you out of money. Their response time is great too. They even travel over an hour to get to my parents' home, who are senior citizens. Always on time and with a good price.

Called and got an estimate within a day, the price was extremely competitive even below what others I know paid for a new system. Tried to get other estimates but they couldn't get here in a reasonable amount of time and the old system was dying a slow death. By the time it got to be 82⁰ in the house I couldn't take it anymore and since the other companies couldn't even get here for an estimate, I called on Tuesday to tell them I accepted their estimate and when can they come and do the job and they said tomorrow. I said do it. Very pleased with the efficiency and speed and the price was very competitive and 24 hours later my home was nice and cool.

Like everyone else has recently reported with Del Air, we’ve experienced the same issues. We are trying to get an issue resolved with our new system purchased under Simpson Air that is still under warranty. We’ve had to call repeatedly just to get a tech out. We had a tech appointment last Wednesday from 8-10 and no one showed. I had to stay home to meet them. When I called I was told the tech would be there from 4-6! Again last Friday we had an appointment from 12-2 and no one showed until 3:30! Tech has medical issue and called to leave because he couldn’t get in the attic. Replacement tech showed at 6pm and stayed until 8 without resolving the issue. No one can diagnose and resolve the issue. Now the system won’t heat or cool!
We have been without a functioning system since Dec 2nd. At first the system wouldn’t heat. Now the system is not operational at all.
Last week we had four tech visits. Nelson, David, Martin and Richard. David and Richard both spent two hours trying to get the system to work properly. Every tech left without a resolution or scheduling a follow up to resolve the issue.
Repeated calls to have service result in escalation tickets without a response. I was able to talk to Stephanie on Monday Dec 9th and she said she was going to speak with Gary about my system and call me back. Called yesterday and had another escalation ticket issued. Was on hold for 10 mins and was told by customer rep she couldn’t reach Stephanie or Gary. No one has ever called us about our system issue! It’s pretty obvious they do not or cannot fix the issue.
I even called Carrier to open a warranty case for them to contact Del Air so they can be on the line with the service tech.
No one from Del Air contacts us. Ever. The only communication comes from the service techs when they are 30 mins out. We’ve had repeated issues with this new system and now no system for past 9 days.
Very frustrated. Will be submitting a complaint with Florida Dept of Business and Professional Regulation as well as the Florida State Attorneys office today. If they won’t provide service, then maybe losing their license is the best recourse as they are not meeting their legal obligations. -
0/5 - I used this company due to their name being on the unit when we had hurricane surge damage. I figured they would have some knowledge of the unit and likely had been the original installation company. The tech showed up 3.5 hours late (had to take the entire day off) but was nice enough. For the record, I certainly was patient and understanding on this delay given the hurricane recovery efforts. After three hours, he basically said he couldn't figure it out and thought it might be the thermostat and to get another. OK well, that's an easy fix but I did not get a sense that their tech was qualified to diagnose this issue. How do you not have a spare thermostat in your service vehicle to check and see if that's the issue?? Then the transformer blew up while he was working on the unit. Literally like a gunshot in my kitchen. He did not have a proper part and said it would be nearly $300 for the replacement and they could not schedule a follow up until the part was in. I guess I'm liable for the damage that he obviously did while working on the unit? He tried to tell me it was a coincidence. So, three hours late, $100 poorer, and my AC is now damaged further! Also, they do not have anyone that you can call to discuss or remedy this. It's been well over 24 hours and no one has called me back despite repeated times to reach out. Thank goodness I'm only out $100 to this "company". I doubt I will hear back and have already made arrangements with a locally recommended serviceperson. Please do not make the same mistake that I did. 0/5!
Update 1: 10/18/24 Had the new service today and it was not the thermostat but the contactor in the roof unit was faulty. So the Del Air tech not only mis-diagnosed the issue but also was responsible for blowing multiple fuses as well as the transformer. The unit is up and running thanks to a competent service person. I do not expect to hear from Del Air as they have yet to return a call. They should not only refund my money but should offer to cover the damages that they caused. -
Couldn’t have asked for more professional, considerate service. Stuart was the best!

We got a new system a year ago. I’m not going to hold this company responsible for the problems with the new unit. I will however hold this company responsible for the lack of follow up. Taking over a month to fix the broken part on a new unit and having to come out at least 4 times. The last visit they fixed the problem then found a oil leak. One would think someone would call to set up an appointment. Two weeks later I had to call to ask for someone to come out. I don’t think customer service is their strongest quality. You might want to call a different company. I’ve called to voice my concerns about the lack of customer service. No one bother to call me.

Since Simpson Air has merged with Del Air we have not had good service. About five years ago we were big fans, now like the rest of many major companies, it seems to be more about the money and less about the customer. Very transactional. We have bought a new home and weren't happy to hear that yet again, our service warranty was through Simpson/Del Air. We've had ongoing issues and the ONLY people that have been helpful and kind has been Kris in office who has been helping us when we call as well as Robert and Martin. These two are the ONLY two we will have out to our home, this is the reason for the 5 star review. Robert and Martin the technician's are genuine, kind, professional, knowledgeable and just good people. I hope Del Air/Simpson realizes what a value these two are.

Herbert came out and checked our entire AC system and he was great. He explained everything to us in great detail and was EXTREMELY thorough. I would definitely recommend.

I had a terrible experience with this company. Evidently they tookover Simpson A/C who installed my a/c in 2017. I called for a regular maintenance check from Dell A/C (the unit had been working without any issues). A couple showed up for the appointment. The first question they asked was "Do you want us to tell if we see any problems ?". Really! That was a red flag confirmed after 10 minutes. They started on the outside unit first and said my unit froze up when they attached their guages and that indicated a freon leak. I immediately told them to leave. I had another a/c company reccomended by friends come out one week later who did a full maintenance and checkup and absolutely no problems were found. I hate it when people try to rip off.

Del-Air bought Simpson Air, who originally installed our 5-ton Carrier A/C nearly 11 years ago. When our Carrier needed replaced, Del-Air's service fell apart. I received a quote to repair the leaky evaporator coil for north of 5K, or offered to quickly put me in touch w/ their sales guy to sell me a new system. Their tech. couldn't tell me where the leak was coming from so I was a bit skeptical of the diagnosis and asked to speak with a supervisor to confirm next steps. Was told that someone would call me right away to discuss. It took 4+ days for someone from Del-Air to call me, despite me calling them twice for follow-up. I later learned that this company is heavily focused on commercial work, not residential and it showed as I wasn't even a blip on their radar when I needed them the most.

Had issues with the power on my unit after ER the hurricane. JEAN San Clemente was the technician that answered the call. Professional and helpful. Educated me on ways to care for my unit. And signed up for the yearly maintenance.
They responded quickly to my call and scheduled me right away. It was great.. I thought maybe it would have taken longer since the hurricane. But I can count on Del Air to come through. -
If we could give them 0 stars we would. We called to scheduled a technician to come out and look at our air conditioner. Del-Air gave us a service window between 2PM and 4PM. The technician did not show up until 6:30 and was there for 2 hours. The technician shut the breaker off in the home to inspect the unit. Not only did the tech leave the home without turning the breaker back on, but the tech also left without checking to make sure the air was back to running normal. We have not had air conditioning for 2 days now and it is almost 90 degrees in the house. The air was cooling just fine before the Del-Air technician arrived. We have reached out to Del-Air customer service numerous times today to try and get a technician back to the house to resolve the issue that THEIR TECHNICIAN caused and customer service is claiming no one can come to the house for another 3 days. Customer service also refused to let us speak to a supervisor. Due to their mistake this should be prioritized and not just scheduled for "the next available appointment time" 5 days without air conditioning in a 90 degree house in Florida is completely unacceptable Del-Air. I would NOT recommend this company. They clearly do not prioritize emergency situations for their customers when THEY messed up and their technicians are SLOPPY and CARELESS with their service.

This large AC company recently acquired Simpson Air, a highly respected local business we had trusted for years. Unfortunately, their customer service is beyond terrible. If you’re even thinking about using them—don’t.
They originally scheduled our annual service for a time window between 10 AM and noon. At 11:10 AM, they informed us their technicians were too busy to come. They rescheduled for the next day, only to miss that appointment as well. Then they rescheduled again—only to miss it a third time.
When you call, you’re routed to a call center or remote agents who don’t seem to have direct communication with the dispatch team, making it nearly impossible to get real updates. The lack of organization and accountability is frustrating.
Save yourself the hassle—there are plenty of other local AC companies with far better service. -
Since Del-Air acquired Simpson Air, their customer service has gone downhill. This seems like yet another case of a large AC company consolidating smaller businesses without maintaining the quality customers expect.
If I didn’t already have a service contract with them, I wouldn’t continue using their services. Their scheduling and communication are a mess. We were given a 10 AM–12 PM window for our annual maintenance, requiring us to take time off work. At 11:09 AM—well past halfway through the appointment window—they suddenly canceled, citing too many emergency calls and unavailable technicians.
This level of disorganization and lack of respect for customers’ time is unacceptable. I strongly recommend choosing a smaller, family-owned AC company that values its customers and delivers reliable service. -
We recently had our AC units serviced and the technician who came to do the job was Axavier. He was very professional, polite, and detail oriented. He took time to clearly explain to me the different steps he was doing. He was very neat with his work and tools and left no mess whatsoever. He answered my questions and made sure his answers were clear. It was obvious to me that he knows his job well. Before finishing he double checked a few things to make sure all was working properly. I was very impressed with him, and if possible would be very pleased to see him again for our next service call!

Since Del Air acquired Simpson Air the service has been absolutely horrible. On 12/23/24 I was told I needed a new part as my downstairs unit is not cooling (in Florida).
The man who did the servicing never ordered the part…2 months later I had to call and deal with the call center people who can literally do nothing but “escalate “ the problem…it has now been one week of me calling to figure out where the part is. No one has called me back as I am told daily they would be. It’s been 4 days of waiting on this part and I am paying the monthly premium service fee to receive high-end service…so far extremely disappointed in my experience with Del-air. Do NOT recommend . -
We called Del Air for a simple AC unit quote. After 15 minutes on the phone with Hector asking questions NOT relevant to sending a technician out to look at and provide a quote my husband had to hang up. We’ve used Del Air in the past but unfortunately due to their lack of customer service will never call again.
