Frank was our tech and he is very knowledgeable on what he is doing. Glad to have our new AC in times of so much heat. Perfect price for the job.

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL: "NO COMMUNICATION and NOT RELIABLE"--"BUYER BEWARE"... On 6/23/21 (08:30ish AM), we called Air It Cool (John) and left him a message stating that our thermostat is set at 74 degrees and the house temperature is reading 78 degrees, we requested he call us back to talk about this issue... We never received any phone calls ALL day long (Noncommunication).... So, at 5:30ish PM (6/23/21), we called Air It Cool again and left another message stating that the thermostat was still set at 74, but now the house temp reads 81 degrees... On 6/24/21 (10:25ish AM), we called Frank (Air It Cool Maint Rep) and left a message asking him to call us... We never heard from him (Noncommunication)... So, at 1:20ish PM (6/24/21), we called Air It Cool again (our 4th overall attempt) and left another message stating we still had issues with our thermostat (it's still set @ 74, but the house temp reading is @ 81) and that we are still waiting for him to return his call back to us (Noncommunication)... Here it is 6/27/21 (1:20 ish PM) and we still have NOT heard from either John nor Frank (Noncommunication/Not Reliable) ... NOTE: 6/23/21 thru 6/26/21 were considered Air It Cool normal work/business days... In short, Air It Cool had 4 FULL working/business days to call us back but they FAILED to do so (Noncommunication/Not Reliable) .... The bottom line is: We have gone without AC since 6/23/21, only God knows how many more days before Air It Cool will finally return our phone call (get this issue fix) ... It does not take a successful business/company 5 business days to return a simple phone call... If so, that is NOT the type of company I want to do business with... If you want to live without your AC (for the last 5 days plus ?? more) and you do not care if the company returns your calls than this is your company... It is NOT for me, I'm looking for a professional reliable customer service-oriented company that's prompt in providing top quality service, even in returning their phone calls... Again---"BUYER BEWARE"....

Had my 12 tear old unit replaced by Air IT Cool. Was completed without a hitch at a good price for a quality unit. All promises were kept and the unit functions great. Would highly recommend them

I had my AC unit go out and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem in a very timely manner. The tech was very polite and I would definitely call again if my ac goes out in the future

These guys have been great! In the Tampa heat they worked their asses off in a brutal attic without a break! Frank is immeasurably professional and polite and my wife and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone.

Installed without a permit and when we questioned it they asked us to pay an extremely large fee. We have since learned they installed the wrong thermostat that never engages the second stage of the air conditioner resulting in higher bills due to reduced efficiency. There is nothing to discuss as you installed the unit without a permit, asked us to pay after the fact and used the wrong thermostat that never kicked in the second stage of the compressor.

On 3/30/2018 Old Republic sent Air it Cool to my home to look at my air conditioner that was not working properly.
Upon arrival to my home Garry from Air it Cool stated that the warranty company would not cover any of the parts needed to repair my AC. He told me that I should have read the small print on the back of the contract but people never do.
Garry attempted to sell me a new AC unit but as I am selling I went with the repairing option for $2,000 which he stated was for parts and some cleaning. Gary told me he would need to go to Tampa to get the parts and be back.
On approximately 4/2/2018 I contacted Old Republic on why then wouldn't cover parts, etc. and they stated they would cover parts.
Old Republic stated that Air it Cool was supposed to contact them before any work was done and that they also did not have authority to bill me for anything over $500 before Air it Cool contacted them. Old Republic told me they would reach out to Air it Cool for an explanation.
It then took over 2 weeks for Air it Cool to respond to Old Republic and when they did they gave them false documentation.
Upon speaking with Old Republic, Air it Cool told them that all they did was clean the unit. When I told Old Republic that I had an invoice with 4 parts that they replaced and only 2 items they cleaned Old Republic stated that they would have to contact Air it Cool again.
As another couple of weeks went by Air it Cool called in that they replaced some parts but would take those off the bill which came to $500 in parts.
Air it Cool then gave a more detailed list of items they cleaned to Old Republic. The list is as follows.
Evap Coil $350
Blower Motor $150
Blower Wheel $150
Clean San Fan Cab $200
Duct Cleaning $400
Repair on Cabinet $250

On my invoice it shows the following:
Blower Pull Clean
Evap Clean
Motor Replacement
Board Replacement
Capacitor Replacement
Repair Bottom of Air Handler

When Air it Cool returned to fix my AC unit they were there for approximately 30 min. They were not there long enough to clean all the things they said they cleaned. In addition, they used my garden hose to clean the AC unit which is NOT supposed to be used to clean an AC unit.
As of today I still have not received the $500 credit that Air it Cool told Old Republic they would issue to me.
Bottom line is that I did NOT authorize Air it Cool to clean my AC unit for $2000. I can buy a brand new air handler (what they actually cleaned) for $2000 or less. I authorized them to do the work which was on my invoice.
Old Republic stated they would have covered all of the parts on my invoice so Air it Cool stated they would refund that to me. That makes no sense to me. If that is the case then Air it Cool should only charge me for the 2 cleaning items that they put on my Invoice.
This was a scam from the start and if I didn't reach out to Old Republic I would have never caught it.
I also believe that since Old Republic sent Air it Cool to my home that they bear some responsibility for this incident as well. I trusted Air it Cool based on Old Republic sending them to my door. I would never have spent $2000 without additional bids if I found them online.

Air it Cool is out to rip people off!

On time and professional. I was going to use someone else to do my job, but it turned out they were using the wrong materials per code... because they were less expensive. Air It Cool completed the work as promised, and I was very satisfied.

I have a warranty on a AC unit my unit is only 2 years old, Tech came out to house and after only 5 mins of looking at unit I was told I need a NEW unit and it was not covered by warranty and he can get it done today and would finance the job.. Had a second opinion on the unit and found out I had a bad wire to compressor and they fixed it and it works great again.. This company is trying real hard to get your money and telling you that you need work done that you do not need... Shopper Beware. Just looking at other reviews it looks like they try to sell New Units to everyone that has a small problem...

Frank was amazing! He answered all of my questions and was very professional. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Frank called before he was going to arrive and showed up on time. I would highly recommend this company! Thank you Frank, You are appreciated!

Good communication with office scheduling appointments. Tech, Frank, showed up at time indicated. Thorough annual service done on unit. Good communication of work completed. Have used Air It Cool for years and will continue.

Awful place! Sold us a new unit that NEVER cooled the house properly from installation. Blamed the insulation in the house. Made many calls to them regarding the temperature and they said the coils needed to be replaced after 9 months. Charged us $500 to do that. This summer rolls around and again it’s 85 degrees in our house. I call again and they send some idiot out that says we again need new coils!! Are you kidding me??? Kicked him out and called another company. They had our house down to temperature in a few hours fixing the mess that company left. They outright lied to us about needing new coils and the gauges were never set up correctly outside which is why the ac never kept temperature. Reported them to BBB. Stay away if you’re smart!

I was referred to Air It Cool through my Home Warranty. They came to my home promptly, and offered both repair and replacement solution. They did a clean and thorough job with same day replacement. Very satisfied with the work!

Very professional company with excellent customer service! John answered all my telephone calls and many, many questions with regards to selecting and installing a new unit. Recently had a entire brand new unit installed and couldn’t be happier! The install was very fast and clean. The employees tested everything after install and swept the garage when they completed the task. Everyone was very knowledgeable and polite. I would not hestite to recommend to anyone!

As someone who works for a property management company we used Air It Cool for the first time for one of our properties. It was a pleasure working with Air IT Cool, they were very friendly, prompt and did great work! I would recommend them to anyone!

For all who have experienced it, you know that this Florida heat is unbearable. This company came the same day I called and repaired my A/C. The team was also very professional and kind, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing an A/C repair in this Florida weather.

Had a problem with my A/C and didn't know what it was, called Air It Cool and they were there the day of fixing my A/C. Very friendly, professional, and mindful of people's time. Amazing company, would definitely work with them again.

After dealing with a no show repair company, I eventually called Air It Cool who not only had someone out there the same day, but only hours after my initial call. They were able to get my air running quickly even while working in the rain! Dealing with Florida heat is beyond uncomfortable; I am very thankful for what they did.

Omgosh I would be here all day and probably run out of characters typing. In a nutshell, they came out at the direction of Choice Home Warranty (DON’T USE THEM EITHER - what a racket!)they replaced the HVAC TWICE in 2 months at a cost of $6495 TO US with the promise of their salesman Bruce that we would receive the $900 that Choice would reimburse them. That never happened with them bouncing me back & forth when they should work it out between them. Eventually I suggested the problem might be the thermostat. Guess what? I WAS RIGHT. They came out and rewired the thermostat and now everything is working fine. So essentially, I just earned that $900 rebate. I reported this to the BBB and they could get no response either so they closed the case with the intention of a negative on this vendor’s record. I would say the technician who came out, Francisco, was very patient and apologetic. He is good. But never believe John, who says he’s the owner, or Bruce the salesman, as they will take your $$$ and run. Choice Home Warranty didn’t take responsibility for the company they sent out, so beware of them as well. Thanks for listening!
