Had a new Heat Pump installed yesterday. Andrew and Omar arrived on time and went to work immediately. I had questions during the install and they never hesitated to answer them and keep me informed of the work as it progressed. They were professional and courteous. They really took the time to reassure me during the process. The final product was neat and proficient. I was very satisfied with the final outcome. Great job Pro Tech.

Pro Tech is the best company around. I have used them for plumbing issues and they go above and beyond to help me. They have always been able to fit me in their schedule the day I call or the next. They even accommodated me this very day by arriving earlier than I was scheduled because I asked if they could. John Shepherd was professional, friendly, courteous and took the time to answers my questions and did a great job. All techs that have done repairs to my home have been great. The office staff is so pleasant to talk with and they treat you with kindness and respect. Pro-Tech will definitely remain my go to company for any future repairs. i would HIGHLY recommend this company for all your plumbing needs. You won’t be disappointed.

we had protech come out for a estimate for AC. Shane was the sales rep. very courteous and not pushy. however, he didnt strike me as knowledgeable. first i asked what freon are current on market. he says the latest R-22 and R-410. I asked isnt R-22 extinct now since my 20 yr old AC has R-22. maybe you meant R-32. he says nope. daikin uses R-22. and R-410. then he telling me the gas furnace should improve cooling as well. i never had gas furnace supplies any cooling. couldnt get into the technicals. but later after speaking to his rep, he corrects himself on the freon and gas furnace. but as soon as he quoted me $21K for the cheapest 5 ton daikin unit. i was like BYE!
i'm giving him the extra star for being nice. thats it! -
I've used Pro-Tech for years, they've always been amazing, and today was no different. Cesar and Chris were fantastic, very pleasant and informative, and took all the time needed to diagnose and fix the problem and recommend the next steps.
I had additional service scheduled later in the week and Jordan was fantastic as well, efficient and explained everything, finished quickly and made sure everything was as it needed to be before he left!
Thank you so much! -
I've been a Pro-Tech customer for almost 7 years, and there has never been an instance/interaction that has caused me to consider an alternative.
Met Joe for the first time for a replacement of an anode rod in our water heater. He was professional and very personable. Another great job and another 5-star rating.
If you want excellent quality and service, don't waste your time with anyone but Pro-Tech.
[I can't forget to give the same kudos to the staff that schedules the work and takes care of customers from the back office. They're awesome. Cheryl took care of us with today's service call.] -
Today I decided to join the service club to give maintenance to my young 3 years old unit… Yes, 3 yrs old, Pro-Tech installed this RUN THRU by TRANE on April of 2020, unfortunately in the last 30 days I had to call 2x for something and summer in Florida are no joke. Looks like it’s going to be a long hot steamy one, I can’t take a chance to have my 75 yr old mom be without AC for one more day. One thing Pro-Tech is amazing is their customer service and professional. I appreciate they making time to come within ETA after calling. I am looking forward the 6 months maintenance check.

UPDATE
In May 2023 when AC broke down. I called and 5 days later they said it was the thermostat… cost me $600 to replace it. The following month… in the middle of June 2023 AC broke down…again. We pay the $300 “comfort plan” and the visit of $150. But again this month (Friday, July 21, 2023) at 98F insiste my home AC is out…. AGAIN. I called and guess what? No one can come until Wednesday the 26th in the middle of this scrutinizing relentless hot summer and to make this worse, my elderly mom who lives with me can’t even breathe… I cannot afford a hotel stay and I cannot leave my mom alone in a hotel…. Already bought fans for us, but it’s just blowing hot air. I just have to wait in this hot summer days to go by, holding to their “Confort Plan” to really work. I just hope they do come clean and don’t play with people life. (Fingers crossed)

Sunday, July 23: Update —> The heat we experienced yesterday was like never before! Last night… I felt as sleep crying. Woke up reading a text message from Pro-Tech that crew will come in between 3 -5 pm Sunday (today). Its 12 noon and temperature is expected to reach 95F by the time the arrive. I still my fingers crossed prayers for my mom please. -
Youbert and Bryan were excellent. They helped me set everything up in my phone. We ordered the air conditioning unit at 6:30 pm and it was installed the next day. Excellent service.

Huge shoutout to Eric Jackson, our HVAC tech, for saving the day this afternoon! Our AC stopped working during the scorching summer day, and Eric came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, resealed a loose drain line, flushed the system, and had us back up and running in no time. Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient—can’t recommend him enough. Thanks for keeping us cool, Eric!

Our water heater took a dump Saturday night. Thanks to Pro-Tech and Chris (their awesome technician) we had a new water heater installed quick and had hot water by Sunday afternoon. Chris was Friendly, took a moment to go over the new unit, and left the area cleaner than when he arrived.
Thank you -
I would rate zero stars if I could. I have to brand new units and they were constantly repaired by this company, costing us a lot of money over 5 years. Then now they quoted us $40,000+ for a new two unit system and said that was what needed to be done. We were thinking about taking out a home equity loan just to pay for it but another company came in and fixed it for less than $5,000. Good companies are hard to find. Don't use this one.

Honesty is an absolute necessity for a business or a technician, followed in short order by expertise, skills & professionalism. All these qualities were present front and center from ProTech and specifically tech Marvin Tema today at a service call at my home. There was ample opportunity to perform a scheduled costly repair/replace which turned out to be not required. I was immediately informed of the situation and was saved literally thousands of dollars. This type of conduct is what creates lifelong loyal customers. Highest marks.

Fine job but charged over $1,700 for less than an hour and a half of work. Will go elsewhere next time.

Found Joe to be very personable and client satisfaction driven. He took extra measures to ensure our needs were met. We are a commercial property, so response and workmanship is a priority when choosing our service vendors.

I am so happy to be a customer of Pro-Tech for our plumbing and air conditioning services. We can always count on them to get to us as fast as they can. This time it was Cody who came to our plumbing rescue. The ultimate solution was more complicated than we first thought, but Cody (and the office team) never gave up on fixing it and everyone was kind and considerate from start to finish. Thanks, Cody.

Avoid ProTech Plumbing at all costs. I paid nearly $2,000 for what turned into a nightmare. The tech missed an obvious leak—you could hear water rushing—and didn’t even knock out the disposal plug, a basic step any competent plumber should know.
Their negligence caused water damage to my cabinets. When I tried to escalate, Kevin told me they don’t stand by their work and blamed it on the system being “old.” That’s not a reason—it’s a pathetic excuse for shoddy workmanship.
This company takes your money, delivers garbage service, and then washes their hands of responsibility. If you value your home, your sanity, and your wallet, do NOT hire ProTech Plumbing. -
I called at 4:08pm to make a service appointment time and was booked to have a tech come out the next day between 10am and 2pm. During the same conversation the rep asked if I actually wanted an earlier time and I said no 10am would be fine. So I sat and thought about it and at 4:38pm I called back and was told sorry you don’t have an appointment and the earliest appointment available is actually two days later. What kind of service is that? If I hadn’t called in I was never even gonna be notified that I didn’t even have appointment. Spoke to Sherrica a manager and was told that their system allows them to overbook and then they call the members to re-schedule. What kind of system is that. I moved from Frank Gay but was trying to save money and after this lack of service from Pro Trch I will be switching back. You know what they say you get what you pay for. By the way same thing happened with my annual maintenance service we purchased. Booked an appointment for Monday July 21 and then a couple days before pushed off until July 31. So unreliable. If you want to help send out a technician today Tuesday July 22.
Update: It’s now Aug 7 and our unit is still NOT working. We have had 8 technicians come out from Pro Tech, have spent over $1500 dollars for parts that obviously aren’t the issue. They think it’s the pressure switch cuz the system keeps going into a lock out mode. Now the unit is freezing up on the inside visible frost on pipes and the floor in front of the register is getting super super cold. We were told it’s because the filter inside the unit was too small. Filter was taken out and still the unit freezes and unfreezes. And the fans are constantly running on the inside unit whether the AC is off or not. This is our last time using Pro Tech once they they this latest “fix” if it doesn’t work we are going somewhere else and I will fighting with the company to pay for it cause this is ridiculous. Can anyone recommend another provider for us. I know DelAir and Frank Gay and liked their work. Tried to get a deal but like I said before you get what you pay for. Over two weeks with no air and 8 technicians…….i need a solution. Pictures of the freezing pipes below and they were taken this morning and last night -
Absolute nightmare to deal with. Poor communication, didn't pull permits, installed broken hardware. Go with literally anyone else. One star is too generous.
They installed a new variable Daikin AC system, UV cleaning system, breaker panel, and home surge protector. The new AC unit died within a day and I had to call technicians out to fix the brand new system. After the new breaker box was installed part of the house would randomly lose power. Another tech came out to see what was going on and said an old broken breaker had been put in. He asked who did the initial work and wasn't surprised to hear it was done poorly. The new panel install (by the guy that put in a broken breaker) was finished with "I hope the inspector doesn't look to close, this might not pass."
After a month of trying to get an inspection scheduled with weekly calls and constant assurances it would be "done immediately" and "someone will call you soon" I asked the county permits office if I can schedule it myself (especially after the issues with the breaker panel I was worried about the wiring) and they said no permit existed for the work that was completed.
Finally after another few weeks of waiting the inspection was completed and somehow passed. Now I am sitting at 68% indoor humidity, and mold growth in my home (I never had this problem before).
They came out for an annual inspection unrelated to any of my problems and the sales associate deflected all of issues. He said my duct work was old and not built for a newer unit, even though pro-tech already inspected it and said it was fine before doing the installation. He said I needed new duct work (which pro-tech would happily sell me!) and it probably wasn't mentioned because I couldn't financially afford it despite paying in full with cash for the AC unit. So that just tells me they want to get the sale no matter what and will lie about duct work being in good enough condition just to upsell later. He then said if I used better filters I wouldn't have the issue (and they'd be happy to sell me them!) He then said that actually the UV light (that they installed) isn't great, but they'd be so happy to sell me a better one. So they lie about duct work being good enough, don't say that I'll probably need specialized air filters, and apparently install low-quality equipment in the form of the UV light.
When I brought up all the other issues I had the sales associate said they had some bad employees and they were firing people. That's not fixing my problems either! I don't feel better knowing someone is losing their job if a mistake is made, I just want it fixed.
I waited to see if they could salvage the situation and make things right, but nothing happened aside from replies of "someone will get back to you." What's the point of a labor warranty if nothing is done? Now I'm probably going to have to call another AC company to figure out whats wrong with my system.
But I HAVE heard back five times now from the upsell department ask if I want to go through with over an additional $12,000 worth of work.
Anyway shout out to the technicians Mitchell and Cody for being the two knowledgeable people I've dealt with that have actually attempted to fix things. -
Michael K. was professional in his assessment and solution to a problem with our AC. He offered options for resolution and made the repairs in a timely fashion getting our AC back online asap. In addition, he explained some updates around their Comfort Plus program that had changed since we initially signed up and it now offers higher discounts and a cheaper annual fee. Prices could use a look for refresh vs the newer corporate rate/feel you have now, but no complaints with the tech.

Devin is a friendly and professional tech. He came to my house on time. Found the issue quickly. Made necessary effort to clean my AC condensate water pipe, which is clogged badly, and the root cause why my AC would shut down after a few minutes running. He recommended the annual maintenance program with Armstrong. I decided to try the service. Thanks.

We were EXTREMELY impressed with Armstrong’s service from beginning to end. Starting with Tami, she reached out & actually listened to our problem & immediately worked on getting us scheduled. She was soo kind & can tell she genuinely wanted to help us out. She made a stressful situation stress free! Armstrong sent out their tech Michael Pereira & we are so glad they did! Prior to arrival, Michael made sure to give us a call & provide his ETA. He showed up exactly at the time he said he would & immediately got to work. He was extremely professional, sharp, & respectful! He diagnosed the issue right away & got straight to work. We were VERY impressed with the whole service! He was thorough & explained everything he did in a way that made sense. Truly a 10 out of 10 service! If I could give this review more stars I definitely would! We will for sure be recommending Armstrong to others!

Very personable and knowledgeable. Explained the service needed for my air conditioner very clearly. Even cleaned out the lizard skeleton that was in the condenser unit! Also, I know his evaluation of the maintenance necessary for our unit is honest because I had another company out two days ago and that technician told me my condenser was in bad condition and that the biological growth—mold—on my unit was too far gone to do a pull and clean. Diandro explained that a surface cleaning should be sufficient. He also suggested a UV light to help curtail further growth. The other company suggested this, as well. But they wanted $1400 for a light. Diandro quoted the same UV preventative measures for only $495. Very helpful young man. Very patient and thorough. I trust this company more than the others I have worked with.
