Facing home foundation repairs? Brace yourself for financial strain, right? Not necessarily! While it can be daunting, my experience with Duratech Foundation Repair company in Houston proved it can be a well-managed, even positive experience.

My journey began with the stress of multiple quotes. I chased bids from five reputable companies, meticulously comparing their approaches. Structural plans, pier details (both replacements and new placements), potential indoor disruption, pier positioning, warranty terms (structure vs. piers only), post-repair cosmetic costs, customer testimonials, and financing options – every detail mattered.

Duratech stood out, exceeding expectations from the get-go. They weren't deterred by the coldest Houston day of the year, honoring their commitment to start the project then (despite other businesses shutting down). Overall 7 new piers were installed and 10 existing piers were adjusted and where possible, every effort was made to reduce the amount of concrete breaks.

The job was flawless, completed even earlier than promised. A huge shout-out to Pedro, the mastermind project manager who addressed every concern with attentiveness and expertise. Greg, the owner, deserves recognition for his genuine customer care and clear explanation of the repair strategy. Kudos also to Steve, Mitchell, and Chris – their constant communication and responsiveness kept me informed and reassured.

The free evaluation and estimates come with detailed measurements along with pictures of the readings, proposal is professionally prepared and easy to read. Getting foundation work done on your house is scary but the staff at Duratech will set your mind at ease. Each level of employees that I dealt with were considerate of my anxiety, patients with ALL my questions and professional during the entire procedure. Special thanks to Gregg, Steve, Patricio and the crew for doing a great job. By the way, when the project was completed everything at my house was put back as it was when they came and the job was considered finished by them when I was completely satisfied. Good old fashion customer service. I recommend them highly as they are a top notch operation.

I was referred to Duratech from a structural engineer I used to assess my property. They came highly recommended, and based on my experience, I understand why. To be in the foundation business, with this many positive reviews, you must be doing something right.

Shout out to Steve who was my point of contact at Duratech from start to finish. Also to Pedro, the site manager who was not only kind and patient, he overly communicated and made himself available to my questions the entire time. I didn't feel like a just another customer, but a valued one, and that's rare these days.

My experience:
They showed up when they said they would, and held to a schedule every day. They were very efficient, and what I appreciated the most is they left the completed job site exactly the way it look when they started. Clean, plants put back, sidewalks rinsed, as if they were never there. Obviously the holes they dug, and the dirt were visible, but they returned it back to 99% of what it was when they started, and that was impressive.

The lifetime warranty is proof they stand behind the quality of the work. Hard to find these days.

I think the most important thing is that they did exactly what they said, and followed through. PLUS, their pricing was very, very fair compared to others. My neighbor used another company and paid 4X as much as I did, and the quality felt about the same. I can appreciate a company that isn't trying to gauge or take advantage of it's customers. Good work at a good price still exists with Duratech.

Note: The best advice I can give anyone reading this is to be courteous and patient with companies like this, and they'll treat you the same. We dealt with almost 3 weeks of delays due to the freeze, and rain each time we rescheduled. Regardless, they got me back into the schedule as quick as possible, and got 16 piers done in 4-days. Didn't feel rushed, and they did everything by the book.

Duratech is outstanding, they do excellent work and the customer service is amazing. The operations manager, Steve, was so kind and helpful with my situation. The project manager, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and fixed our house by raising it to the correct level. The entire Duratech team did an excellent and quick job. The prices for their services are also very good.

Awesome work performed! made a 28' x 8' slab --with 12" x 16" beam around slab with remaining inner slab thickness of 6 " included 32 pcs of 20' steel rebar! Built for a lifetime plastic shed. Highly recommend Duratect crew for all new slabs and repairs of existing slabs. Great work Marvin and crew, Thank you! 34,000 lbs of concrete! Wow!

Duratech did an amazing job on my foundation repair! Their quote was super affordable compared to other foundation companies. They kept constant communication with me during the wait because I requested the service right after Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, to keep me posted about the timing for the project. They give a thorough initial walkthrough and let me know exactly what needs to be done and what will be covered by the warranty so I can make the decision. The workers came out and worked outside the entire day when Houston had heat advisory and they finished the job in 3 days when I needed 14 piers. If you need a foundation company that communicate with you all things before you have to wonder, work hard for their money and are honest, these guys are the one!

A couple scheduling conflicts (they’re a small business, it happens) but once they got started on my house, it was smooth sailing. Excellent cleanup after the repairs. I highly recommend them to anyone who having foundation issues.

Duratech came in and performed a thorough inspection of our full floor plan and engineered a remediation plan as a very affordable solution. They scheduled the work and sent a very professional crew out to perform the foundation remediation. Their attention to detail was appreciated and workmanship are by far some of the best I’ve seen.

I had an excellent experience with Duratech. Everyone communicated what to expect and kept me updated during the process. I was concerned that the utility company did not arrive to mark my utility lines to avoid them being damaged by the repair. I expressed my concerns to Duratech about my fiber cable being damaged during digging and they explained they are very careful during the process. The repair completed today and nothing was damaged. Great job guys!!!

I have needed foundation repair for quite some time and after several quotes I have decided to use this company. Every person I spoke with, Pedro (he helped me schedule a time that worked with my schedule), Greg who did the assessment and Ticho who assessed the plumbing, were very professional and quick to respond to communication. They also had the best price and guarantee their work. I'm so happy I found this company!

Discovering a sizeable crack along my brick veneer last month was unsettling, excuse the pun. A structural engineer recommended Duratech. Duratech responded quickly, took detailed measurements, provided a site diagram with pier locations as well as background information which helped me understand my foundation problem and the repairs needed to correct the foundation issues. The project cost estimate was also competitive. The project manager, Pedro, answered all my questions and the Duratech crew installed 13 piers in less then two days with little disruption and the sizeable crack is now just a line. If you are experiencing a foundation problem I would recommend calling Duratech.

I guess there is a first for everything- this is the first time I can say that a major home repair project was easier, cheaper, and faster than I expected at every stage of the project.

Thank you to the Duratech team for showing such integrity and transparency throughout this whole process. I was worried this would be at least 3-4 times the price, require me to replace my floors afterward, and cause significant disruption to my life. The team was able to begin the project the week after I got a quote, finish the labor in two days with all the piers outside and no interior damage, and put everything back the way they found it. It’s like they were never here except that my house is level now. The workers themselves were polite and careful and my laundry room is no longer trying to break off the rest of the house. It’s nice to know we have a lifetime warranty as well in case anything should come up in the future. I can’t speak highly enough of this company!
